What a great team of lads I had the pleasure of being handed to help my move my belongings from one house to the other. The team turned up at 7:59 ready for action which was very prompt and precise. They were smartly dressed, friendly and efficient from the start. After assessing the task in hand, a quick cup of coffee they checked with me to ensure I was happy with the plan. They had the house emptied in around 4 hours. No item was an issue. Beds were dismantled piece by piece, tables de-assembled and everything was cleverly packed into the vehicles in a careful and precise way to ensure they would travel safely.

When we arrived at my new house they wasted no time in ensuring every single item was placed in the correct room. The unload was prompt and efficient. The TVs were transported in special protective bags, my clothes were taken in special hanging rail boxes which made it very easy to move.

My beds, sofa, tables and bigger furniture were reassembled into exactly how they were in my old house.

The team of guys were very professional and had a great sense of humour and pride in their work. Their work ethic was amazing and they really showed that they cared with what they were doing. They made a stressful days actually painless. One of the lads had to rush off during the move as his other have was giving birth that day but Martin, the Group General Manager drove over to lend a hand. Full respect to him for coming out the office to get his hands dirty.

James S, Luke and Michael and Martin were absolutely top notch and are a credit to Chelmsford Removals. They represented their company perfectly. Prompt, efficient, friendly with a great sense of humour.

Both Luke and Ben were very respectful of our aunts possessions and worked quickly and efficiently to move everything into her new home. Nothing was too much trouble. They arrived on time and worked well together. We also appreciated a personal visit prior to to the move to discuss options.

We first came across Chelmsford Removals when we were moving in March 2026. We chose to move ourselves and they were actually moving the people buying our house. What was immediately refreshing was how professional they were, everyone knew what they were doing. Within minutes all the carpets had been protected and they had assessed what needs to go where and how they were going to do it. We had some incredibly heavy, solid wood units that needed coming down from the third floor, and their guys offered to help and made it look so easy. They were all really friendly, happy and helpful.

When we moved into our new home, we literally got a super king sized bed stuck on the landing, we called Chelmsford Removals immediately (makes them sound like the Ghostbusters), they sent Billy and James out who had the strength and know how to lift the super king sized footboard (that weighs 70kgs), safely around the landing space until it could go up the stairs. Not a mark on the walls, not a mark on the bed. They also took the heavy, solid wood units up to the third floor in our new house, bless them and were always looking to go the extra mile, asking if there's anything else they can do, move, help with while they were there.

They are genuinely a very well run business, who clearly pride themselves on what they do, which is why they do it so well. The price was more than reasonable and I cannot recommend them any more highly.

From start to finish this company were so informative and knowledgeable which was so reassuring.
Terry, James & Steve arrived promptly at 8am and did such a quick removal, they was super accommodating with answering questions from our two autistic boys. When arriving at our new home nothing was to much trouble they got all the items in the right locations.
We really can’t fault the team that day they went above and beyond.

I highly recommend Chelmsford Removals. They came out in person to assess how much stuff we had and the quote they gave us was the price we paid without any hidden extras. On the day, Terry, Rick, James and V Power were amazing. They turned up early and were so quick loading the vans, that we were able to spring clean our old house! Once we got into our new house, they soon had us unpacked and our furniture reassembled. Everyone was professional, friendly and efficient. Brilliant!

Great company, really helpful in a tricky situation due to solicitors exchanging contracts half a day before completion. Nick, Luke and Miles did a great job loading and unloading. Absolutely no damage to anything. Highly recommend this company. Thank you all.

Very pleased with the services of Chelmsford removals - very smooth and professional. Mark, Wayne and Dan P collected everything and James and Jamie unloaded it all - they were all friendly, polite and efficient. All the people I spoke to at the Chelmsford office were also really helpful when I needed anything. Would definitely recommend them!

Michael, Dan L and Ben helped my wife and I move from east London down to Kent. They were great lads - I couldn’t believe how quickly they get our place packed up and how well they then reassembled at our new house. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the local area or beyond.

We were genuinely thrilled with the service provided by Michael, Dan L, and Ben. The guys showed up Brighton early, and made excellent progress in guessing everything from a very packed flat into their vans, safely and securely. They were polite, professional, and friendly throughout. They genuinely went above and beyond to get assessed into our new home, and I wouldn’t hesitate to both use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I can’t praise the team of Michael, Terry and Mick enough. They were amazing with my move when it didn’t turn out as planned and they made every effort to help. They also came back to finish once all the problems were sorted. Always pleasant and punctual. They were an absolute lifesaver. Would recommend for any house move 100%

The guys moved us from our two houses to our new home together in hawkwell, turned up right on time and worked none stop until the the lorries were full , lifting some seriously heavy plant pots ! Really nice friendly hard workers , thanks to Terry,Andy & James ( woodham crew !)
