Excellent service from Chelmsford Removals, cannot praise them enough. Every part of the process was smooth and simple, friendly staff who worked flat out on moving day, no fuss just got everything done.

From the moment I called to enquire about their service, to watching the van drive off with 3 of the nicest guys you could meet, I’ve had the best experience and recommend everyone to use Chelmsford Removals!

My removal team, Luke, James S and James N were friendly, professional, respectful and made me feel at ease whilst delivering the best customer service. They were also funny and brought good vibes to a sometimes stressful situation.

We needed a short notice installation of office desks. The job had to be done quickly, on a Sunday, with 48 hours notice. Andy and Luke unboxed, built and moved into place 35 desks over 2 floors removing all the packaging. The customer starts work the next day in a perfect office environment, all thanks to Chelmsford Removals. Can’t fault them, thank you!

We called Chelmsford on a referral and we're not disappointed, dropped off packaging materials a few weeks in advance for us to pack, attended at 8 in the morning sharp fully ready for the task ahead. The four guys (Mick, Mick, Josh and Steve G.) were polite, considerate and carried out the move with great professionalism, within 8 hours, we were moved with no real stress associated with moving home, but must point out, you need to ensure you pack and label all items to enable a smooth move. Floors were covered, doors protected, sofas completely covered and protected, so impressed, thank you all involved at Chelmsford (and East London) Removals.

Terry and Dan were professional, efficient and tidy. I am very pleased with the whole process of moving me out of my house and storing my furniture. I like the idea of small containers already loaded on the lorry so I could separate my items into essentials so I can take out of storage earlier than the other two containers they are storing for me.
Definitely would recommend this company to friends, family and the public.

Dan and James moved me from South Woodham Ferrers to Danbury. They were very professional and courteous. This is the second time I have used Chelmsford Removals and have never had anything but excellent service. Nothing broken or damaged on either move. 10 out of 10 to both Dan and James.

Terry and Dave packed up the house on Thursday then on Friday David, Mike and Conner joined up with the other 2.
The guys were very pleasant and careful with everything we actually had a good laugh.

2 lovely guys ( Steve G and Dan J) moved me all the way from Chelmsford to Lincoln and were prepared to help with everything needed even given the exceptionally heavy solid oak and glass furniture I needed moved.

Great company to use for your house move! Well trained and polite employees, nothing is too much trouble for them, even working late on a cold, dark Jan evening! Also made sure everything was where we wanted it before they left. Go above and beyond what you expect from a removal firm.

Recently moved house and chose Chelmsford Removals / East London Removals. We had the full packing service and dismantling of an electric bed the day prior to the move also. The 2 men who came to pack were fantastic, took great care with our possessions and were very respectful! The move itself we had Josh, David and Matt who did an impeccable job, through a storm too. They were also very friendly and polite, nothing was too much for them, and they even put the electric bed back together where we wanted it. I would definitely recommend them!

Michael, Lee and Martyn made moving day totally stress free! They were quick and efficient but loaded and unloaded everything with care and attention. They dismantled and reassembled a tricky IKEA wardrobe, which I didn’t think was going to be possible. The sofa bed also had to be dismantled unexpectedly, but it was expertly done with no complaints. An excellent, professional team who made the moving experience seamless.

Luke, Nick and Daniel completed the removal of my three bed house on Friday January 10th 2025 to my new home 12 miles away.
Three really lovely, kind and hard working people. They took the stress out of the day. Things went very smoothly despite the sub zero temperatures.
Luke led the team. Everything was loaded with care and unloaded equally so. Luke asked where the furniture was to go. A switcheroo was needed at times and he was patient and so kind. The guys helped me figure out where to put things.
They were consummate professionals, clearly very experienced in logistics and providing a first rate customer experience.
I am so grateful to them and the company.
