I took my son Caoimhín into the Newly…

I took my son Caoimhín into the Newly opened Chemist Warehouse in Drogheda, as I wanted advice on bandages and dressings for my son, as he received a nasty wound on AstroTurf.. As I entered, there was a great atmosphere in store.. One of the very friendly Staff members directed me to the Pharmacy, which was located at the bottom of the store.. I was greeted, by a very friendly girl behind the Counter, who went and got the Pharmacist.. The Pharmacist, Sinéad was Super Professional, extremely empathetic towards my Son, and took us both into the Consultation Room, and gave me advice, and recommended the appropriate dressings, and advice.. Her 30 years experience was reflected in her knowledge, empathy and advice. I shall definitely be returning again.

Munno Para store in SA Rude manager

Munno Para store in SA. I went to purchase Anxiety Vitamins and asked for a price match plus 10% off as the store advertises. Was made to wait for the store manager for 5mins. When the store manager arrived to help she was quite rude saying she was really busy and only offered a 5% discount and asked “ well do you want them or not? “ . I bought them and as I turned to leave she said “you really need them”. Absolutely appalling service mocking mens mental health.

Here is my review of the new Chemist…

Here is my review of the new Chemist Warehouse in Cork city centre.

Let's start with the positives. Their prices are competitive, and you can make savings here. However, I found better prices at a nearby Tesco for products such as toothpaste, razor blades, and some moisturising creams. If you shop carefully, you can still find good deals, which is the main draw of this chemist—affordable prices.

Now, onto the drawbacks. The shop's layout is problematic; the aisles are too narrow, and the price labelling is unclear. The price directly below the product on the shelf often does not match the product, so you need to read carefully. Additionally, there are not enough checkout tills open, and they don't provide bags for your purchases.

A recent experience highlighted some issues: I purchased a bottle of zinc tablets marked at €6.99 but was charged €7.99 at the till. When I brought this to the attention of the checkout staff, they explained that the shelf prices are sometimes not updated promptly. They offered to refund the €1.00 difference but needed to call the manager for authorization. This seemed excessive for a store that prides itself on saving customers small amounts on each product. The staff should be able to handle such discrepancies without involving a manager, and perhaps offer an additional discount for the inconvenience caused. I told them to keep the euro, but the experience felt sloppy and not customer-focused.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever
45 minutes to finally be told they couldn’t dispense the script I was after.
Honestly could have driven to my original pharmacy and got what I needed. No care or customer service.

ZERO SERVICE & ZERO EXPRESS DELIVERY.

This Relates to Chemist Warehouse ONLINE!
0 Stars is all they deserve. Payed for Express Post delivery and five days later My order is still in limbo. I rang Chemist Warehouse to get them to chase up their SLOW SERVICE and I was basically told Too Bad Too Sad. Three years ago I got the same lack of service. Stupid Me I thought they would have gotten their act together by now but clearly NOT!

Deceptive false advertising….repeatedly

Advertised perfume then ‘interestingly’ it was not available. After numerous emails, I finally had someone say that when they get it back online, I can have it at the same price. I have waited & waited & noticed numerous times they advertise it. You get right to the end & they show it is only available in store & ‘amazingly’ NEVER is available in ANY store in South Australia. So they are falsely advertising a product which is never available to most of the country. I dread to think what will happen when this company thinks it can combine to ‘control’. They currently have awful morals and are definitely not to be trusted. I have contacted so many times and waited so long, they just do these ridiculous adverts knowing they cannot provide the goods across Australia. Shame on Chemist Warehouse! Not to be trusted in any way!

Having a keen interest in sports…

Having a keen interest in sports nutrition and regularly using products such as Whey, Creatine etc I have found Holland & Barrett a complete rip off. For example Optimum Nutrition Whey 899g is €32 in H&B, the exact same Whey is €27.89 in Chemist Warehouse, next Optimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine 634g is €52 in H&B, the exact same Creatine in Chemist Warehouse is €27.99. It’s disgusting price gouging by Holland & Barrett.

Taylors Lakes store overcharged customers…

Taylors Lakes store overcharged me on an analgesic tablets. The medicine was priced on special for $9.99 from original price of $14.99. Later i found out i've been charged $21.98 (2 packets) instead of $19.98. I then went back to the store and been told by a lady named Tanny that was the old price tag they forgot to remove, but the excuse was clearly a lie, because the old price underneath the new price tag was $14.99.
She then called a guy named Basim who refunded me the wrong amount which i had to rectify once again. The customer service was a ZERO. They both were unfriendly, unprofessional and no apology was offered. More trainings needed. I urge every shopper to be aware of this Taylors Lakes Store for the appalling customer service and overcharging customer habit.

My son purchased some John Paul gauter…

My son purchased some John Paul gauter aftershave for my birthday .
I have always used it so on this occasion I but it next to my old bottle until I finished it.
Come to use it and it’s nothing like JPG. The bottle is still full.
I e mailed chemist Warehouse to be told because they don’t know how it was stored and it’s 12 months old they couldn’t do anything. I replied back the family have all done tests because at first they didn’t believe me and all come to the conclusion it’s not JPG in the bottle. NOT even an investigation from Chemist Warehouse, as a manager I would want to know and as a customer I would like to know .
I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem.
I hope this review is published to make people aware.
RANT OVER Less the cost of the aftershave

Amanda is wonderful and I hope her employers note her competence, willing to help, happy service delivery and “can do” attitude to help her customers. She was wonderful with me a month or so ago and I witnessed her doing the same great stuff with two ladies again today. Value her 👍🏼

Shame Chemist Warehouse

While trying to find a 100ml bottle of Coco Mademoiselle perfume for my wife I noticed Chemist Warehouse had the item priced at $255.99 and their site claimed free delivery on all orders over $50, when I treid to buy the perfume online at Chemist Warehouse the price came up as $299.99, $44 more to buy the same product online.
Does this constitute free delivery NO
Is this false advertising YES
Should they be held to account for this YES, don't trust everything advertised

Good prices

In the local area, I have found that the prices for medication are consistently competitive and affordable, making it an advantageous choice for cost-conscious consumers. Additionally, I have consistently experienced exceptional customer service at this establishment, never encountering any issues or concerns.

Placed an order and paid premium to…

Placed an order and paid premium to have it delivered in 3 hours as I wasn't feeling well enough to drive. Delivery should have arrived at 5:30pm. Received a notification at 5:23 that my parcel was awaiting pick up. At 7:45 I contacted Customer Service trying to find out where my parcel was. They contacted the Emerald Hills store and came back to me and assured me it would be delivered by close of business (9:00pm). Customer Service Agent was friendly and helpful. Getting close to 9:00pm and still no parcel, so I rang the store and spoke to Sam. He couldn't be bothered and just said that no one turned up to pick up the parcel so it will have to be delivered tomorrow. I needed my delivery that day, that's why I paid the premium price. No one called to say there was a delay, they just don't care. This is the worst Chemist Warehouse I have ever used.

DISAPPOINTED

Paid $10 for the 3 hour fast delivery. That was 6 hours ago and still not left the store. The store is closed now.
Over promised and under deliver. Not great. There was a reason I paid $10 to have my product in 3 hours, now I can see it turning into a palava as I’m not home to accept items tomorrow. Disappointing CW
