I’m no expert but in my third baby/fifth pregnancy I didn’t think there was much I could do that was “new”… however! I wanted to give myself all the help I could to enjoy both our baby and his brothers after birth. He is a much longed for rainbow baby, and after discharging myself from a stressful early induction attempt (planned for family reasons), and finally having my waters broken at 14 days overdue - birth was traumatic.
Nikki was amazing and supportive throughout the entire booking process, which was so simple. The changing of plans, and many delays to my induction, were no trouble at all, and the emotional support via message was lovely when you feel like you’re going to be pregnant forever!
My husband and the team coordinated collection of placenta/smoothies - they were delicious. The midwife was surprised when I hopped out of bed for a wee minutes after stitches, despite 2 days of no sleep and no food - I honestly felt “ok” so quickly.
My package arrived days later and I took 2 capsules 3 times a day until I ran out, I could tell if I’d missed any by my mood and energy. The tiredness and night feeding is of course still tough, but once I’m up for the day I don’t notice tiredness - I can’t know for definite but I’m sure the capsules play a part! I’ve also had my best breastmilk supply this time.
I’m now onto the tincture, experimenting to see if there’s an ideal time for me to take it in the day, the face oil is lovely and the balm cleared up baby’s dry patches beautifully.
My only sadness is that this was my last baby so I won’t get to do it again!

As a first time mum trying to navigate the world of pregnancy and newborn life, one thing I was sure of was encapsulating my placenta. Even though I have no comparison to another pregnancy, I was keen to do anything to avoid baby blues and keep as healthy as possible. After a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Nikki and she made the process effortless from start to finish. I went for the smoothies too and after a long traumatic labour, Nikki and my partner liaised and the smoothies were back in the hospital same day for me to enjoy along with newborn snuggles. The pills arrived a few days later at home and the instructions were simple on how to take. Lovely packaging and a sweet keepsake of the cord too.
After suffering from some baby blues and finding the early weeks hard, I’m so glad I used cherished placentas as I dread to think how I would’ve felt if I hadn’t done it! Will definitely use again if there’s a no.2! X

I've heard about placenta encapsulation a few years ago (after I had my first baby). I thought interesting but didn't really pay much attention to it until recently when I had my second baby. I was so worried that I'll be tired, exhausted, sleep deprived, moody when the second one comes (as this happened with my first) that I started researching about placenta encapsulation again. I found cherished placentas online and started reading reviews. Only positive feedback. Not one person who said it didn't work. So, here we are 8 weeks after giving birth and I feel absolutely fantastic. I've healed much quicker, I felt much more rested even on little sleep. My highlight was when I had a play and chat session with my older daughter at school and she told her teacher that she has a little sister who is 4 weeks old and the teacher looked at me and said 'you look so well for having a 4 week old baby'. And I did feel well.
I went for the energising capsules, 2 smoothies (after reading reviews I decided to get them) and the homeopathic remedies. I can't wait to see if they help my little one as much as the capsules helped me. Nikki was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I cannot recommend her enough. I won't have a third baby but if I did I would definitely ask for Nikki's services again. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I booked Nikki’s encapsulation service fairly last minute after I’d seen reviews via Instagram.
The process was smooth & communication was always so easy.
The placenta capsules are little miracles in a pill & the fresh smoothie that I drank immediately after a long induction birth gave me amazing energy.
My baby is a much longed for Rainbow baby & I was concerned how I would cope mentally & physically post partum. The placenta pills perked me up & really kept me going throughout that first challenging month with a newborn.
The service is amazing and I would recommend Nikki to anyone expecting a new baby.

I don’t normally write reviews but Nikki at Cherished Placentas has really been amazing and played an important part in my post-natal recovery. From first engagement to the delivery of the smoothies and capsules, Nikki has been super responsive and very flexible with our ever changing plans / schedules (partly also due to Covid). She worked seamlessly with my doula and saved me (and my other half) so much time and hassle. The smoothies were delicious and they did genuinely make a difference to my physical and mental well-being (as I remember how difficult it was for me when trying to recovery from my first pregnancy). I also think that they helped enormously with breastfeeding (good supply)! All these have just meant that I bond a lot better this time round with my new baby 🥰

I am very happy with the service Nikki provides. My midwife recommended this company few weeks before the due date. I was very skeptic but decided to order the full package (skincare, body care products, capsules and smoothies). Smoothies were amazing - I lost a lot of blood but it was just a magic. I was full of energy as soon as I had my first smoothie;) I wish I ordered more smoothies:(
All products are beautiful and I already finished my capsules, face oil and body balm. I will definitely order it again when I have my second child ( fingers crossed)!

Nikki’s service was 5 * she came to our house the next day after I gave birth to our baby girl at home. I was so excited to try the placenta smoothies and they didn’t disappoint! Nikki said I would feel addicted to them and I was! As soon as I had my first one I was craving the second! They were so tasty and gave me lots of energy.

The pills were also amazing, my bleeding was minimal and stopped very quickly and I did not suffer with the baby blues. I would 100% recommend Cherished Placenta to anyone sitting on the fence - do it, it’s so worth it!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Nikki enough! She’s such a friendly woman and happily answered my many questions pre and post birth!! My partner said the collection was nice and straightforward and my capsules arrived 48 hours later. As soon as I’d taken the first capsules my milk came in, which was just amazing. They gave me plenty of energy in those exhausting few days after birth and people kept commenting on how well I looked. I also didn’t suffer with the ‘baby blues’ people tell you about...but this was my first baby so I’ve nothing to compare it to. I would 100% recommend, and next time I’ll be having a smoothie too! My midwife recommended Cherished Placentas and I have to admit I was a little sceptical but after reading the other reviews decided to give it a go. I’m so pleased I did and I’d recommend it to everyone now. Those capsules gave me so much energy and I’m sure they helped me to recover from my c section much sooner than I would have otherwise.

I heard about Cherished Placenta through a friend who had done it and I thought I’d look into it as was having my first child. Six weeks later and I’m so glad I invested because the energy it has given me is unbelievable. I took up to 6 capsules to start and I felt and still feel so alert during the day even on very few hours of sleep. My breast milk also came in, in abundance on day 2 of taking the capsules so I was able to take to breast feeding really easily. I stopped taking my iron tablets because there’s also so many nutrients in the capsules.

The service Nikki provides is excellent. The box turned up the day after I returned from hospital with all the goodies to enjoy. The oils are amazing for my babies skin and drops for water give you a natural high.

I would 100% recommend Nikki and Cherished Placentas. From first contact to last, Nikki has been amazing. I tried the Complete Recovery For Mum package – capsules, facial cream & oil, body balm & butter, essence, tincture and a cord keepsake.
I am sooooo impressed with the products, all of them! The way you package them is simply beautiful. Body balms and creams are just so lush!! and the facial oil makes my face feel and look rejuvenated!

Having done a lot of research, consuming your placenta showed overwhelming positive results in terms of aiding post birth recovery, energy, mood and milk supply throughout the whole of your 4th trimester. I wanted to do whatever I could to avoid postpartum baby blues and/or postnatal depression, which is more common than not after giving birth (especially with lockdown on top of everything). I didn’t know how it was going to go and whether I will indeed experience any benefits of the above mentioned products.

It’s now week 3 and I can honestly say they’ve been great. I take 2 capsules 3 times a day, use all of the beautiful cosmetics that feel very luxurious, and I have more energy than expected and went “back to normal” very quickly. No hormonal extremes that you hear about after giving birth. This pack is getting me through lockdown with a smile on my face :) I honestly can’t recommend placenta encapsulation & Cherished Placentas enough.

I honestly could not reccomend Cherished Placentas anymore, Nikki is simply fantastic, she is knowledgable, pro active, kind and just lovely. I havent even recieved my capsules yet but just felt the need to write a 5 star review as my experience has been so comforting and clear I couldnt of chose a better Company. xx

The products are amazing, especially loved the whipped Body butter, you only need to use a small amount & it really does absorb into your skin. I used to use this after the bath at night. Thank you Nikki for great service

Best decision I ever made for my postnatal recovery. Nikki was amazing & made the whole process simple.
I’ve heard how good the placenta capsules are but had no idea that they would be as good as they were! I could feel the days when I forgot to take them.

The service Nikki gave was exemplary: really quick, easy to navigate at a stressful time and the product was excellent.
I took a package which meant I had the capsules, which really helped my energy levels post-partum and the balm to use on my c-section scar as well as the oil to use for baby massage.

I met Nikki at the parent and baby show. I had been looking at placenta encapsulation for a while but many companies were located hundreds of miles away and charged excessive travelling/postage costs. Nikki was so passionate about placenta encapsulation and I just knew when I met her that I had found the right person. I had my baby in July 2018 and I cannot thank Nikki enough for the excellent service she provided. I text Nikki when I went into labour and again once my placenta had been safely packaged in the cool bag provided by Nikki. She arrived very quickly after letting her know everything was ready for collection and my placenta pills were delivered to me at home in person by Nikki the very next day. I cannot fault the amazing service Nikki provides. I will definitely be using Nikki again in the future if we are blessed with another baby!

I still can’t believe how quick the turnover process was for my smoothies! They were amazing and I didn’t have to think about a thing, it was all taken care of for me so I could just concentrate on me and baby. The smoothies were delicious - honestly just tasted like a berry smoothie and I also had the capsules too. The energy I had and the speed at which I recovered from my c section, I believe are down to these amazing little capsules! I would 100% recommend and am always raving to my friends about it
