A very relaxed and enjoyable experience

Having attended various Wine School of Cheshire events they have all been extremely enjoyable in a relaxed a friendly atmosphere. No matter what your knowledge of wine you'll learn something new - tasting sizes are no small either!

A great day with food & wine to match

We've been to several of Wine School of Cheshire's events and we've been delighted every time. Recently, we had a fantastic day out at the Winter Wine tasting. Not only were the wines amazing but the 4-course meal was all really beautiful. The mandarin and vanilla mousse with Romanian orange wine was lush and really different, something I've not tried before. Richard's knowledge is always very impressive. He has a knowledgeable answer to every conceivable question you might have about wine and pairing wine with food. I've got a lot to learn but each time I attend one of these events, I come away with another nugget of information to help us choose our own wines at home. Can't wait for next time!

Have been to a couple of events with The Wine School of Cheshire, and as always this one did not disappoint. This is the first one I have done that was not country specific or grape specific and I really enjoyed it. Food was excellent at 1539 and service top notch. Whilst this day is a treat for us as its not the cheapest around its certainly value for money for what Richard and the team provide,

This was my first wine tasting evening and I must say I very much ejoyed the whole experience. The hosts were very knowledgeable and kept everyones attention for the whole evening. Met some good people and learned a thing or two about wine (and cheese!).

WOW who knew you could get amazing wine from North Wales... fab evening... great wine

What a great experience. For anyone who wants a fun afternoon eating good food, trying new exciting wines with good company then this is the event for you.

I attended with my Daughter and we had the most fantastic day on Saturday, we absolutely loved every minute (and every wine!!) the food was amazing, the company was great and we both laughed and learned lots! Our host Richard was warm, welcoming and kept us highly entertained with his incredible knowledge and fun approach. We have told all our friends about our experience and I’m sure we will be back in the not too distant future. Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to The wine school of Cheshire and both times have been excellent. The food, the wine, the host are all fantastic. Recommend it to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

I have attended several wine events and always found them excellent, whether a formal wine tasiing or wine themed meal. Always of the highest quality food and venue coupled with superb wine tutoring. Highly recommended !

The Wine School of Cheshire is much more than just the wine. It is a truly immersive yet not pretentious experience that happens to be about wine. Richard does not try to sell you anything. He purely there to help guide you through each of his sessions with some fantastic knowledge about wine. I have been to a number of his events and we as company have used him for team building exercises. His choices and wide selection of wines màde it very easy for everyone to enjoy the wine and food pairings whilst having a relaxed and fun time. Many of my staff had never really tried wine before and were a tad apprehensive about the experience, believing it would be a rather stuffy experience. It was anything But that and they left having fully enjoyed themselves along with a much better understanding of wine. We have since rebooked for another event. I would recommend the wine school of Cheshire to anyone who wants to learn more and enjoy a great event!
