Chestertons have rented our property for the last 20-30years.But over the last 3-4 years the service has been far from satisfactory. In fact I was looking out to

We had a transition from the previous letting agent over to Chestertons - and they have always been freindly, happy to help, and quick to respond. We recently moved house to a new property which is managed by Chestertons, and our property manager is Sarah Doyle.
Unfortunately, we have encountered quite a few issues when we moved in, and Sarah has been incredibly helpful in sorting things out. It’s almost a miracle in today’s times to find someone who is genuinely helpful and responds instantly. In an environment where many people tend to delay or avoid dealing with issues, Sarah is refreshingly efficient and proactive.
She consistently goes above and beyond to help resolve the issues we need to sort out and is always willing to assist, even outside of her working hours. Her support has made settling into our flat a much smoother and far less stressful experience.
Sarah is always friendly, professional and clearly very experienced in her role. Communication is excellent, and we always feel reassured that any issues are being handled properly and promptly.
She is truly fantastic, and Chestertons (and us) are extremely lucky to have her. We feel very fortunate to have Sarah as our property manager and would highly recommend her.

This was a complicated situation which started with a simple query about how to turn on the central heating and ended with the whole system being replaced with electric radiators as the true state of the gas central heating became clear. In the interim the lack of heating led to a mould problem, all satisfactorily resolved in the end. The Chestertons people managing the property kept channels of communication between myself and the tenant and contractors open, and amicable, at all times and saw what could have been a really difficult situation through to a satisfactory conclusion.
