China Highlights Train Ticket Service Reviews 

I fully trusted China Highlights and booked all my tickets with them and honestly, it’s the first and last time. The service was terrible. I had to constantly chase my agent Annie because she never sent me the ticket confirmations and never informed me whether she had managed to get the tickets or not. On more than four occasions she failed to buy the tickets for me. However, with other companies like Trip.com, while Annie told me there were no tickets left for the train I wanted, they still had availability. When she couldn’t get a ticket, she notified me late and barely gave me any options for a new train. Tired of having to deal day in and day out with incompetent and unprofessional people, I decided to cancel my last trains with them and handle it myself. They refunded part of the money but not all of it, keeping some for the “supposed management” they carried out.
I know you’ll see very good reviews — those reviews are what led me to trust them — but don’t be fooled. Poor service on their part.

Fabio solved all my problems, even when I lost a train for my fault. In about 5 minutes he always confirm if there is or not available seats.

They are honest, no surprise when you book you just pay the fee.

A great company! Extremely correct and efficient: confirmation for booked tickets is issued immediately as is the availability of tickets exactly 2 weeks before the trips (this is when China Railways issues them). Would recommend China Highlights unreservedly!

We had excellent experience with China Highlight train ticket services. We had a very complicated itinerary and purchased several different tickets for a variety of trains, and did not have a single glitch on our trip! We even successfully changed one ticket at the ticket counter in the station.
We received refunds for all the first class tickets that were not available (we travelled in August - in China!), and received second class tickets.
A very reliable company, and fully recommended to other independent travellers.

Train booking A1 smooth and professional

Their website is very easy to use and clearly lays out the train timings and ticket options. Once the booking is placed, an email confirmation is received soon after. They will also help with transfers if needed

We met our guide, Ethan, in Beijing. Ethan was timely, he was aware of queue times and managed to get us through reasonably. Ethan also was very informative with each location. My teens needed some OTC products last minute and Ethan was able to get them for us quickly too. Navigating the train station Ethan was also a gem.
