AVOID AVOID AVOID
Worst haircut experience of my life, and I've had some bad ones!!
When I arrived, I explained I was nervous as I'd had a bad haircut previously. The hairdresser pressured me to get my haircut that day and assured me he knew what he was doing.
After the haircut was done, he gave me EXACTLY what I'd specified I DIDN'T WANT. He had essentially cut off half the length of my hair to give me "layers." He literally lifted up half of my hair from the crown, and just chopped it in half. So I was left with a "mushroom" haircut, with an insanely short layer (not even down to my jaw) and the length of my hair looked ridiculously thin and spindly. It just looked awful.
I was extremely upset, but when reaching out to their customer service, I was met with terrible support, struggling to even get a response (they would barely reply every few days!) Eventually after going back and forth for well over a week, they refused to refund my money, as apparently they can't give a refund due to "personal preference." This wasn't personal preference, it was an objectively bad haircut, so bad in fact that I had to go to a specialist and travel 4 hours to fix the haircut. This hairdresser also confirmed that the haircut at Chop Chop was poorly done. The customer service was rude and dismissive, and said the only way they could refund my money, is if I went back to them so they could "rectify" the haircut. Of course I didn't feel comfortable doing that, and since their replies were so delayed, I had already got the cut fixed by a specialist by the time they even made this suggestion!
In order to fix the awful haircut, I had to cut off a significant amount of length, around 10 inches!! My hair was very long before and I was clear with the hairdresser at Chop Chop that I wanted to continue growing my hair as long as possible.
Even once the specialist had fixed my hair, she said it would likely take around 9 months to completely fix it, as the one "layer" he cut was so short it was impossible to completely blend it into my hair.
I could go on, but please SAVE YOUR HAIR, DO NOT GO TO CHOP CHOP.
