Beautiful Hand Made Tools with Attention to Detail

Excellent communication and were able to ship multiple orders I made together (even though I made these orders over different days)

Tools were packed excellently, with helpful ‘extras’ like gum to clean the diamond files and instructions on how to use them properly, as well as fret advice.

I am very impressed by the hand made quality of the tools, they feel great and are a beautiful addition to my workshop! Was glad to find these hand made alternatives to the more sterile big company brands. Cannot speak on long term wear by the look and feel of them, they will last a long time!!

Thanks, Drew

File did the job

File did the job, but abrasive coating on one side fell off.

The bevel file is coated on one side only and the reverse side is where the bolts clamp it into the holder, so we don't coat that side.

Fret levelling and crowning kit

Quick delivery, well packaged. Tools are of very good quality and make a tricky job a lot easier.
Don't overdo the pressure on the levelling file, just its own weight is enough for a minimal job.

Really impressed with my first purchase…

Really impressed with my first purchase from Chris Alsop. The fret crowning tool is absolutely brilliant. Ergonomic and the perfect shape handle, especially on the higher frets when the guitar body starts to impede the regular straight crowning tools. I will definitely be purchasing other tools.
