The service went well, but the unexpected happened.
The service went well, and there were no problems at this point. However later in the day the central heating basically stopped.
Now this was caused by something the engineer did, without him having any problems with the central heating units that cohabit with the alarm system. I am not surprised he was caught out. When I found it I corrected it by just pressing two buttons.
The house thermostats operate via wireless connections, and the power interuption at the receiver meant the connection went down. They were just too far away to reconnect successfully, and a couple of buttons pushes did the trick. Bringing the thermostats nearer for a few seconds would have also worked.
So I was slightly niggled, having to solve issue, so I could not give a five. Someone needs to add this issue to the manual, as more and more devices will get effected.

I agreed what I felt was a fair price to reflect my length of time as a Chubb customer.
