Great service, they have the best prices compare to other rental companies, 1-2 years old vehicles in the fleet, customer friendly staff, easy to book online, Cicar app is a big advantage to manage your booking. Definitely deserve 5 star rating!

We’ve used Cicar for many years for our trips to GC. We’ve noticed the last few times the cars are always in the best order though. The most recent one we had was really grubby, inside and out, and had no screen wash.

They are still a good company (could do with always having two people on the desk tho) just noticed this slight change in quality.

Excellent and really Quick service

Fuel tank was about 3/4 and when I arrived in hotel I saw that on paper is written 4/4. Normally there was no need to check it because this was 5th time I used your service. Car wasn't what I ordered and usually I understand that but Seat was to slow and consumed 10l per 100km.
Another small problem was with payment but it wasn't worth to argue about 5 euros.

We've had our villa for 20 years and use CICAR 4 times a year when over.

The process with CICAR was smooth and spot on. Despite the car being slightly dirty in the hard to reach spots i.e the sides of the seats near the centre console but I'm nitpicking. The customer service was excellent and everyone was welcoming and friendly. If you are ever in the Canary Islands, CICAR is a reliable go-to.

I have been using the company for past few years , never have I been let down . The cars are always in good condition and staff are very helpful, occasionally I have had good upgrades . I would definitely use them over and over again .

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Friendly and professional staff. Car in excellent condition. The advantage of this company is that you can take the car on the ferry to other Canary Islands. The price includes full insurance.

We have used this company several times before and they have been great.
Yesterday when we picked our hire car up from Gran Canaria airport it was utter chaos.
The queue in the airport terminal was around 50 people deep, We stood at the back of the queue for around half an hour and the queue barely moved, we would have been there for several hours I reckon.
We were told by another hire company that there was another Cicar desk at the far end of the airport, so we walked down and joined that queue which was around 10 people. We stood in that queue for nearly an hour. When we actually got to the front it only took a couple of minutes to get the paperwork and make the payment, then we were sent to the car park to collect the car. There were probably 50 people milling around by the kiosk, so I queued a few minutes and handed my paperwork over. The guy at the desk said my car wasn’t ready, even though I had booked it from midday and with all the queuing it was now 2pm. We had to wait with a lot of other angry, frustrated customers for another hour or so and were eventually given our keys and told where the car was parked. No further details given, no chance to inspect the car.
I was told the petrol tank was a quarter full and to return it that way.
I drove 30 miles to my hotel and already the petrol warning light is flashing.
The car is nice enough, although it smells strongly of smoke.
During my over 3 hours of queuing at the airport yesterday I resolved to never book a car with this company again.
