Booked online on Vodafone site, good comms to check in, installer messaged ahead to confirm ETA, arrived when he said he would, and they were done in an hour.

From the start, when the salesperson, Aiden, came to the door. He was very enthusiastic and helpful. The communication has been great. The engineers were very efficient. Positive experience. The cost helps too.

The first engineers that came although explained things well... didn't seem to know where the fibre wires were underground.
On the 2nd visit, I had different engineers Gideon and Addi managed to figure it out and lifted up 3-4 bricks in the front and they found it. If it wasn't for them I would have cancelled it altogether and gone with Optical instead.
Gideon and Addi were absolutely phenominal. The job was extremely difficult and took 4 or so hours to complete but they didn't shy away. They were chatting to me here and there during the installation too which was nice. Both of them were very friendly and it was even better that they are Arsenal fans.
Editing my review: unfortunately I have had to cancel this broadband. It went down around 11:15am for around 4 hours and I work from home so this royally screwed me. Although it was fixed no one could tell me what the issue was so I have lost trust in the company after only 3 days and cancelled. Just to put this in perspective I used a different company for 7 years which didn't go down once. I would still bigup the 2 installation guys that came the 2nd time round though, they were good.

Joel did the job expertly, cleanly and didn’t rush the job but took time to explain to us 75 year olds what the equipment he was installing was, how to set the new router up when sky eventually got round to sending it. Router arrived today and thru his instructions were able to set it up and password for tv.
Made a stressful time for us less stressful👍👏

Ed and Waqas from Halifax did a fantastic job today from start to finish they deserve a pay rise!!
Got a call before arrival, the lads turned up and explained the work to be done and just got on with it, they explained everything every step of the way the professionalism is a breath of fresh air!!

I've been trying to get full fibre broadband installed for a while now. Toob were happy to be the provider, once CityFibre had installed the cable. Installation was supposed to be today, 22/05/2026 but CityFibre had cancelled the installation of the cable and not bothered letting myself or Toob know about it. I've emailed the CEO, but I doubt he'll reply. They're asking for further details, we'll see what happens.
Five days ago, I sent the information they asked for with no acknowledgement that they had revieved it.
Since being in hospital earlier in the year, I cannot go out to work, I need a broadband connection to work from home. The government says all households will have a full fibre connection, CityFibre local manager says not.
