Arrived on time & got straight on with…

Arrived on time & got straight on with the job. Very efficient and the lads were friendly and polite. Also connected the wifi to our mobile phones, tablets and desktop computer for us. Many Thanks.

Perfect overall

The engineers were amazing and very informative, know their work and fast in doing it with high quality service
The net is as advertised and the router is super fast and powerful now 2 days in the new contract

Hello toob

Switching to toob was easy. Good communication before installation. Engineer was at my place before time. He run through what he was going to do. Work did not take long and tidied the place after. Tested the equipment to make sure everything is working before leaving. Most importantly, the price is very good.

Complicated full fibre install seamlessly done

We were told the old copper broadband network is being switched off so we had to go to full fibre. Really didn’t want to do this as nothing is ever straight forward with our house and knew it would be complicated. Suprise surprise it was! We had visits from 3 different lots of engineers to resolve the problem. Basically our house had been missed off so there was no easy way to connect it. First team got the conduit in place so the cable could eventually be fed through to our property. They arrived literally 5 minutes after I got off the phone to Zen to order our new broadband. The next day three more guys came and spent 2 hours resolving the issue and ended up feeding 200 metres of conduit to connect our house to the cabinet. Then yesterday the last 2 guys turned up and connected it all up. All working no problems as was promised. I know it’s very much dependant on how good the engineers are that you get, but we had 6 that’s were all really good, luke and his partner yesterday was brilliant. Both guys were really friendly, courteous and did a brilliant job. Would definitely recommend 👍👍

This was the original install of…

This was the original install of ducting and tubing. They were great at digging up and laying the pipe filled it all in then 3 days later dug it all up again because the pipe was not large enough. Then came the reinstating, well what a disaster 6 times to come back relaying cement instead of concrete to dug up driveway. The Grass verge was just litered with stones amungst the rubble that they called top soil. They originally said there was grass seed mixed in with what they called top soil. Then they came back again and laid some nice top soil but no seed so they came back again to sprinkle seed over it. Then came back again to dig up one driveway and relay cement. They did not lay new soil and seed over a 6m section of verge, or dig up andrelay the 2nd concrete driveway as they said they would. This company should be ashmed of what they and OCU have done. James from City Fibre and Tom from OCU said it would be done. Hollow truths. They turned a good looking residential area to a building site with the prospects of having your lawn mower damaged if you attempted to mow it. So it will new some maintenence before it gets better. Have contacted BCC to view and to make City Fibre and OCU put it right.
