Received sample pack promptly which was really helpful. Needed a bigger sample to help decision making. Not cost effective to order a board or two (composite decking) due to high delivery cost and Cladco said they weren’t able to cut one to send more cost effectively. Asked if they could send me a sample box filled with samples of the colour I was interested in which they kindly did. That helped confirm the suitability for my project. When we are ready to order for the project we will be happy to do so via Cladco

Prompt delivery of excellent samples.
The samples were an excellent way of choosing, the product best suited to our building project. They were sent out very quickly, and I love the pencil that was included. Friends have also been inspired by the samples, and I would certainly recommend this company.

Easy to install and looks great
Ordered from Cladco and the delivery was very good. I wasn’t in but my neighbour oversaw the delivery and he said the driver was very good. Layed a composite sub frame and went for the chocolate and cream deck. It is easy to cut with a mitre saw and the T clips are simple to use . Well happy with the end result but time will tell in the longevity

Poor quality product and service - avoid
Absolutely disgraceful product and ultimately the response from their team.
I ordered the click fibre cement cladding from this lot, after previously using Hardiplank. I thought the 'click' product looked different and would give it a go. One of the carpenters I kmow used their decking so suggested I tried them. Awful. The product is not fit for purpose. It took days longer to fit it to the dormers due to the flimsy groove that sits in the bracket, easily damaged. Then try engineering the product when a lead flashing needs to be installed. It had my roofer and chippies baffled and needed extra engineering to make it work and look just ok.
Cladco have no touch up paint which is essential for this stuff. No RAL number as it is made in China. We tried matching it from the machines at the local decorators merchants and it does not look good. Blotches of slightly different colours.
To top this off, when purchasing, via the merchants, we asked about returns. At the time the fact it would have to be self returned to Andover was bad enough, but NO ONE mentioned the 28 DAYS. Ridiculous after all the hassle we had fitting, the extra cost involved. They have refused to refund £400 of trims due to it being 7 weeks.
Disgraceful company. I will be spreading the word amongst our builder/carpenter friends - my brother runs a firm and they will now not use them.
AVOID
In response to Cladcos reply - the order was made with South Coast Building Supplies. They called you yesterday regarding the return. I was in their place when ordered, and we asked about returns - the only thing mentioned was that it had to be returned as you would not collect.
The product was fitted as in your guide, even using the 38mm x 50mm baton that is not readily available and relatively expensive.
You did not have any touch up paint available, which I was waiting on. Your products, service and customer support is awful. We did call to explain the difficulties using the trims and fitting lead trays. The only response was that we could order custom made trims if needed. I have very experienced carpenters and roofers (for the trays), and they have never seen such a poor product for cladding. When fitted, admittedly it is quite solid, but getting it to that point is not.
Your returns policy in line of the above is disgraceful, and I will be continuing my online campaign to show this.

We should note that our fibre cement click cladding is widely used and, when installed in line with our guidance, does not commonly present the issues you’ve described.
Regarding returns, our policy clearly states that items must be returned within 28 days of delivery to be eligible for a refund. This information is provided at the point of purchase and within our terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we’re unable to make exceptions once this timeframe has passed.

Cladding goes moldy
We bought the composite cladding for a dorma. We chose the whitish colour to match the monacoche render we have. We needed something maintenance free an were assured it was. Within weeks it started to go moldy. The rep came out and game me a tub of cleaner. It worked temporarily and the mold soon came back. The whole lot needs ripping off and putting in the bin. Total waste of money.

Faded & stained after 2.5 years
Decking has been down for just over 2.5 years, badly faded, stained and many boards no longer anywhere near the same length as they started. Company response? I should have cleaned more often (fully cleaned twice a year and regularly swept to remove debris). More concerned with me proving I had purchased their recommended cleaner (which incidentally I had) than offering any further solution. Very poor and customer support anything but supportive. Would I use them again? Hell no.

Having reviewed your previous correspondence with our Customer Support team, the decking itself doesn’t appear to show signs of a manufacturing fault. As discussed at the time, the boards are installed beneath trees, which means they are more susceptible to organic debris, algae growth and staining. In these conditions, composite decking typically requires more frequent cleaning than installations in open, unobstructed areas, even when the recommended decking cleaner is used.
Our team requested confirmation of the cleaner used purely to help assess whether the correct maintenance method had been followed, not to dismiss your concerns. We appreciate that you have undertaken regular cleaning, and we’re sorry that this hasn’t achieved the result you were hoping for.
While we understand you’re unhappy with the outcome, based on the information and images provided, the decking has performed as expected, given the environmental conditions it has been exposed to. We regret that this experience has left you feeling unsupported, as that is never our intention.
