Visited the outlet store at dockside Chatham today. We met Simon who was training and he was so lovely. My son who is two doesn’t like having his feet measured and Simon was so patient speaking to him and making him feel at ease. Thank you so much! Simon was really great!!
Angie at Dockside outlet Chatham
I was served today by Angie. I went for my toddlers first pair of shoes. Before I arrived I knew I would approach a member of staff to ask for her feet to be measured before I looked at the shoes. As I walked into the store Angie approached me straight away so I didn’t even need to look for a staff member which was comforting. She was very friendly asking if I needed any help and then took me over to the toddler shoe area. My little girl was a bit upset with a stranger touching her feet but Angie was amazing with her. Very patience and gentle. So kind and did her absolute best to make her laugh and feel at ease. After measuring her feet she showed me many different choices of shoes, different styles and colours. She would check her feet everytime and offer excellent advice. At the end we found a pair my daughter agreed with. I’ve never experienced a retail assistant be so attentive and wanting to make sure everything was perfect. She was 10/10 and I will be back again because of her customer service skills. Thank you Angie for making an important milestone for motherhood so easy and special at the same time :)

A lovely lady named Alice at the dockside store measured my grandson for his very first pair of shoes. She was very knowledgeable and offered advice about the different shoe options available. Great service and we left with two pairs of shoes that fitted perfectly.

Rude, untrained & unprofessional staff assaulting customers
Cant think of any worse experience Ive recently had.
I brought a Love2Shop gift voucher. A young lady (whose name a supervisor called Tina has carefully hidden from me and even told me Clarks workers must not have a badge with their name on, but she could not explain why her co-worker Janet had one on😁) - short, dark haired together with a healthy dark skinned lady with short curly hair were certain I can’t be using my voucher at their shore until I googled it & shown them that Clarks’s website & Love2Shop’s website are clearly stating that Clarks Outlet stores are certainly taking those vouchers. Once I’ve explained that, she brown skinned, healthy lady started clearly laughing at me as if I am the one at fault. I’ve then asked her whats the funny bit so I can laugh too & she responded she ain’t laughing at me. I’ve then started explaining my point to the skinny one (also super rude) & she cut me off countless of times, so I had to keep on asking her if I could finish off my sentence, before giving her the chance to respond & was laughed at again by the healthy dark-coloured lady. I then asked the dark coloured lady if she ain’t laughing at me again & she couldn’t respond my question. I said that the very least they could have done was to apologise for misleading me,however instead of expressing their apologies, they just left the conversation & left me wondering.
Extremely rude & unprofessional.
When I asked Tina (the supervisor) what were the names of the 2 girls misleading me, she said she isn’t sure, because there is 6 people working at the this store. I asked if she can go and find out what their names were & she tried to make me look bizzare in front of the other customers by asking me if I am alright & need to sit down😁
Overall experience at the Chatham Dockside Outlet store: insulted, mistreated & misled
