Maria was very patient and helpful. She helped me to choose the right fitting on the first day; then again the next day when I realised that the boots were too small. It is very handy to have a choice of regular and wide fitting, as well as half sizes. Thank you.

Layla was brilliant today at the Southampton branch. We had some issues from school shoes sold by another branch and Layla listened to us, offered some good advice and let us exchange the shoes and in soles without any issues. She apologised and remained professional. Thanks so much Layla, my daughter feels much happier going to school with her shoes that now fit well.

I had a pre-booked appointment for my daughter’s shoe fitting for her school shoes. We attended the Above Bar, Southampton branch and our appointment was with Saara. The fitting was great, Saara was really knowledgeable and was able to advised accordingly, my daughter has one foot slightly bigger and she also required an insole. Saara was able to explain to my daughter why the current choice of footwear would more than likely give my daughter issues resulting in her picking some others out. Saara spoke to my daughter directly, chatting about current styles which I thought was a nice touch, completely boring exercise for my daughter (tween age) made bearable by Saara. This was example of first class service, Saara really went above what she needed to in providing customer service to me and my daughter.

Only downside is that the area for children's shoes is very compact and can get quickly busy and loud, some children may find overwhelming.

I booked an appointment at the Southampton Above Bar shop to have my son measured for school shoes and was welcomed in even though we were 5 mins early. The store was very organised with people with/without appointments separated so the second floor with the children’s shoes wasn’t crowded. We waited less than 5 minutes for Sadika to start the appointment. She asked what we needed and was kind, patient & informative throughout the appointment. After measuring we were offered an opportunity to look at shows to try on but by experience there isn’t usually a wide range of styles available in the narrow E fitting. I was happy with the choice offered and process of trying on. We also needed trainers for PE and £10 off available was a bonus. Sadika offered shoe care products at check out and I didn’t feel pressured to buy, though she gave very good explanations why we may find them useful.

Ayesha in the Southampton branch was incredibly helpful today whilst I was buying school shoes for my daughter providing us with excellent customer service.

Absolutely brilliant service from Hardeep. We told him our granddaughter loved dinosaurs and he managed to find a pair of shoes for her. He was very patient with her and this made our experience even better.

Great experience. I popped in to buy school shoes with my twins today. We were served by Chloe and Amy. Both were really friendly and helpful in fitting and helping my children pick their school shoes.

Amazing! Went to get my daughter fitted for her first pair of shoes and she’s not great when it comes to things like this as she’s only one but the too ladies where so patient with her and made our experience stress free. We went to the Southampton west quay branch and were seen to by two lovely ladies one Finola who was in training and one who I didn’t catch the name of but was there just in case she needed any help. Definitely recommend and will definitely be going back in future!
