This review is an update of my previous review. I ordered 8 oz of hand sanitizer on April 1st and received my package today which is April 16th at a cost of $33.30. It appears to be hand sanitizer or so the label states. Smells terrible. It does have an alcohol type smell. Not sure I'll use it and will probably throw away. The cost is too high and the wait is longer than advertised. Don't buy.

I ordered 4 gallons of hand sanitizer from this firm to help keep my employees as safe as I could. The reason I ordered from this firm is because they indicated the were a producer of sanitizer and had product on hand VS their competition who likely did not have sanitizer on hand. A great selling point! I also ordered priority shipping. All in all I paid $501; money that is in very short supply right now as I attempt to assist my employees while attempting at the same time to gain access to the SBA loan process which is also a huge joke. My problem with this Classic Shaving is that they seem to have no issue or challange accepting the funds but cannot for what ever reason deliver any product or communications or status update. The funds that I sent this firm now cannot be used to go find sanitizer at another firm who does have product or who can deliver. This puts my employees at additional risk; something Classic Shaving seems to care less about. Money over customer service and human needs. Now, I have had to contact my corporate bank and place a dispute on the entire charge so that I do not end up paying this firm on my next statement for delivering literally nothing. This is not a way to run a business and a great way of ruining their reputation. In this day and age, everyone has issues and likely this firm is also impacted by them as well. That said, they must consider how their customers are impacted by their inability to deliver and free them up via refunds to go get the sanitizer from anther firm. It is just good business. Shame!

Please do not trust this site! Don’t fall for their scam - I know they seem like a mirage in a desert, having sanitizer that will ship out quickly, but they are liars. I paid 97$ two weeks ago and have not heard a word about shipping time. Customer service is a joke. Please do not give them your money! They are horrible people for taking advantage of scared and desperate people. Karma will get them, but in the meantime, steer clear of classicshaving.com!!

I placed an order the company sent me an usps tracking number. The tracking number shows a shipping label was created. The merchandise was never shipped to me. I sent several e-mails to the company with no response.
No response from customer service!!!
I made a hand sanitizer purchase on 3/29. No updates and no response to 4 emails sent to customer service. All I am asking for is an update. They already have my $500! Least they can do is respond. Made the purchase for our essential business. We are trying to keep our employees healthy and working to keep economy going. Do your part and send me an email and then make good on your end and ship what I have paid for.

I ordered hand sanitizer last Monday the 30th of March and spent the extra money for priority shipping. Spent over 53 dollars. Also false advertising. I thought I was ordering two large containers just to find out from another customer that isn’t my is only a small container. At 15 dollars each. Price gouging. Not gonna be in business long especially I understand the hard times and I’m sympathetic. What I can’t excuse is the lack of response to my emails at least saying there working in my order. Very very disappointed. Calling my credit card tomorrow and put in a dispute and calling the better business bureau. I ordered hand sanitizer on Friday, April 3rd and paid approximately $9 for 2-3 day priority shipping. On Monday when I had not received email confirmation of shipping date I reached out to the company with no response, again later in the day. On Tuesday I demanded an answer or a refund of the extra shipping charges. I was finally given a response which stated that I "did not understand priority shipping" and that they had 3-6 days to prepare the order. Nonsense. When I demanded a refund of the amount of the priority shipping or that I would refute the priority shipping costs, they cancelled my order. I understand this is a trying time but if the company were not able to provide the service, they should not charge extra for it. In response to your response. I was not rude. I asked for a refund of expedited shipping costs. There was absolutely no indication of processing time. Your site and confirmation email stated 2-3 days priority shipping for a fee which without a statement of processing time indicates that the customer would receive the order within 2-3 days. Your information, I believe, is purposefully misleading, and if it is not, now is your opportunity to correct it. You should not be offering it at this time considering you were not able to respond to my initial email and complained of how hard you are working. I must note as well that I am not the only review that states the same information.

Hand sanitizer is HUGELY price gouged.
4 ml is what you are getting, gallon is what is shown. That is false advertising and they have removed the ability to return as of 2/2020.
I hope they all get sick.
Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware)
I made a purchase on March 30th, 2020. The item was somewhat misrepresented on the stores sight. The purchase appeared as a gallon of product for approximately $15, which seemed a deal. After the purchase was completed, I noticed on my receipt that it was 4.5oz. Price gouging! Upon reviewing the website, I did find that it was legitimate. The picture for the product is of a gallon, but the price is for 4.5oz. I e-mailed customer service to cancel the order, disgusted by the amount for the product, and never got a response. Two days later, the money was extracted from my Paypal. After 7 days, no email from customer service, no refund, and no shipping confirmation has been sent, and I was charged $9.45 for 2-3 day priority shipping. Personally, I will NEVER purchase from or recommend this store to anyone.
**UPDATE**
They finally processed my order and I received a tracking number, on April 19th, 2020. TWENTY DAYS!!! Three emails later, still no answer from the customer service department about a refund or even a credit for the 2-3 day, non-optional, shipping charge.
Delivery of product hasn't happened
I ordered a product from Classic Shaving nearly 2 weeks ago. On there site it shows it's been shipped. I checked with the Postal Service, and it turns out they haven't received it yet. Only a tag has been created. I have reached out to classic shaving 3 times and have not received a response. Is this the way you treat your customers. I will never do business with this company again. All I'm asking for is the product I ordered.

Package never got delivered, 6 months ago. They are refusing to send a new, or refund my money. Then they stopped answering emails.

Customer service is a joke. Charged for free shipping. Two emails sent no response. It is not the money it is the principle. They lost a customer over $18 after spending almost $500.
My business is going elsewhere.
Shipping was great, that's about it.
Shipping was great. Received order very quickly. Razor, the stubby safety razor, was not functional. The blade is pressed too close to the unit and cannot shave. No way to adjust razor height. Classic soaps are difficult to lather relative to others I have used. Note how their web site's product ratings are all five stars or nothing. It's because they won't post negative ratings or comments they receive. Wish I had spent my $50 bucks elsewhere.
I received my Grandfathers straight…
I received my Grandfathers straight which is a hundred years old and had been sitting around in its original box for 70 years so as you can imagine it needed some TLC. After contacting Classic Shaving via email with pictures, they insured me that they could restore it. All I can say is wow night and day difference no more surface rust nice and I mean nice edge. I look forward to many shaves with it, have only used it once since I received it back yesterday.

I have nothing bad to say for Classic Shaving. I entrusted my 50+ year old Boker King Cutter 5/8 straight razor to them to polish and hone. The results were beyond what I was expecting. With no stropping straight from the wax paper wrapping one pass on each stroke. Definitely earned this barbers' life long business.

I reviewed Occam's Razor on the Classic Shaving website a number of days ago. The review was only 2 star on their new razor and they did not post this review on their website. I can only assume they only post favorable reviews which misleads the customer into buying a razor that has only good reviews.
For those people who want to buy from this website, be careful of the reviews. They only post what they want you to see.

They have now posted the review. They did make a comment back to me on my suggestion that they provide the buyer with an opportunity to buy a case for the razor. They suggested that the paper case that they shipped the razor be used. Anyone know that paper breaks down with small amounts of water over a period of time. It seems like a rather silly statement made by the company.

I love the product, but getting anyone's attention can be problematic.
First - my order got lost and I waited 10 days.
Second, I've tried to call and reach someone, but the phone rings on one line and no one returns call on the other.
Pray for an amazing product or you'll be stuck with a very expensive items that can't be sharpened or fixed.
