Being sole trader it can be challenging doing accounts on your own, but Clever Accounts have been extremely helpful and informative with how everything should be done and managing my accounts. I had a previous company manage my accounts and Clever have shown why they are the better firm.

I have been with clever accounts for 2 years now. Every time I email them it feels like I have to chase them. I can't expect them to fill out and complete what they say. It's such a constant hassle that you might as well do it yourself. They screwed up a few times and left my accounts in disarray. It also feels impossible to complain or chase.

I only mainly used them for yearlies but they cost me thousands of pounds. Definitely not worth what I'm paying them. Their responses usually take 3-4 days, sometimes even a week. Sometimes they will say things but weeks go by without an action until you have to chase again.
