THIS FIRM IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS - AVOID
Avoid this company at all costs.
Unless your happy to pay £2500 for one electric radiator or £7000 for an electric boiler then do NOT entertain these cowboys. They deliberately target pensioners and the elderly. One of the "engineers" will visit your home to carry out a survey, which is actually an extremely high pressured sales pitch, where they start off with an extremely inflated price and then dramatically reduce and reduce the price until you sign up there and then. Even their final price will be way over the odds. They will make ludicrous and unfounded claims about how their technology is the best in the market etc etc. Absolute clowns. That's what happened to us and from others I have spoken with that is also the consistent experience. That is exactly why you will never find their prices online or in their brochures or why they won't tell you over the phone.
Their products are junk and insanely overpriced, you will wait around 3 months for an installation and they will ghost you once they have your deposit. Avoid at all
costs, you have been warned.

I've been informed by an insider within the firm that Climastar UK is rapidly going out of business due to a lack of sales. Take that as you will.

Bad experience over. 2.5 years
In March 2022we decided to buy a Climastar UNIQ 9 water heater. It cost nearly £6000. It was installed in June 2022. The unit had a ten year warranty. It lasted 6 months. In January 2023 we woke up to a foul smell and saw that liquid from the unit had run down the walls and we had no hot water.
Climastar fitted a replacement unit in 24 hours.
Then In April 2024 we had no hot water again for 3 days until a Climastar fitter replaced the timer switch for an ON/OFF switch. After 2 months this switch and the wall above were getting very hot. I reported this to Climastar who laughed it off. Then on 10th June 2024 we had no hot water again for 4 days until 2 fitters came and replaced the faulty switch the previous filter had installed.
On 10th August 2024 the Sunamp unit leaked liquid and left us without hot water. On 12th August I reported this to Climastar. Days went by with no contact from them so I rang again on 15 August and was told a new Sunamp unit would be fitted on Monday 19th AUGUST.
And it was. However this the 3rd unit they have fitted in 2.5 years.Climastar are totally comfortable with 2 76 year old pensioners having to carry pans of hot water upstairs to get a basic wash for 9 days. Disgraceful.
In April 2023 Climastar stated in a press advert that you can rely on their heat storage cells working without degradation for 50 years. I DONT THINK SO.

Harmony app huge disappointment ee radiators installed last March
Three radiators installed last March. All worked well. This month I switched them on to check and nothing happened. I read instructions, went on line, tried contacting climastar and got no response for several weeks when they sent instructions. I've had one missed call.
My son went through the connection process. All connected but I am unable to change the temperature settings via the app. I change it and everything it defaults back. This is really irritating. I paid a lot of money for radiator wall art!

Excellent product and service. Our only very slight question is why the engineers who installed the heat pump and disconnected the old water tank did not remove it and take it away as they did with everything else

Very expensive! Very poor customer service.
We had a visit from a very nice salesman on 11 September 2024 and ordered a heater from Climastar. He claimed that the thermostat on their product was 'market leading' and no other manufacturer offered such accuracy. (I believe this to be untrue, after the research I did afterwards.) Anyway, we paid a £735.00 deposit on one heater (total cost about £1400). When we realized, the next day, how much we were spending on just ONE electric heater, we had second thoughts and cancelled. We were assured of a refund on our credit card. We phoned the company a couple of weeks later and were assured that the cancellation was actioned along with a refund. Last week, a company fitter phoned to choose a date for installation - it seems that the refund hadn't been actioned after all, otherwise our order would have disappeared from their system. Credit card refunds apparently take up to 10 working days. We've waited 14 working days and still no sign of a refund. I emailed Climastar twice but got no reply. I've now had to open up a dispute with my credit card company to cancel this transaction. Climastar, your customer service to me is rubbish. I'm glad we didn't buy your very expensive product.
10 October. We received a cheque in the post which has now cleared ok.

Need to replace my water boiler as it…
Need to replace my water boiler as it was showing it age and also a slight leak.
Perfect service from first contact with sales until the end when the installation was completed by the engineers.
The actual device is half the size than my old boiler and also more energy efficiency, so far with monitoring this in my smart meter, we are looking at around 40 percent reduction.
Cost of this is much more than the usual price of an average boiler but this is worth every money.

the water heater and radiators fitted at my home work wonderfully well. They do as described and considering my property is Georgian its not like modern houses, but the heaters really have made a big difference, considering the high ceilings and sash cord windows
they have tranformed the tempretures in all rooms

2 pleasant boys arrived It hasnt been cold enough to switch the heating on yet The man did show me how to use it but the heating wasnt switched on when they were here & I have tested the one in the hall It came on but I cant get the lounge or bedroom heater to come on I would like someone to come to switch the lounge & bedroom heater on to see if it works

Disappointing Installation and Aftercare
We had a water heater fitted on 22nd August, without being used 24 hours later it developed a leak. The fitters came back to repair the leak on 29th August. We were away for the weekend and once again without even using it discovered there was another leak on 2nd September. Contacted climastar who never acknowledged receipt of the email. I called on 9th September to follow up, was told they were aware and to await a call which had now been marked as urgent. On 10th September I called back as we still hadn’t been contacted and spoke to the installation manager who assured me if I “gave him a few hours” he would contact the fitters and get back to me with when they could come to repair it. 48 hours later I’m still waiting for a response. I still don’t have any hot water, I have a damaged floor which now needs repairing and it’s delayed us moving into the house which is costing us more money in rent. We chose Climastar because they were highly rated for customer service (they were by no means the cheapest option) and this isn’t the experience we’ve had at all. So disappointed, feels like now they’ve got our money they don’t care.
Update: just received a call to arrange an appointment on Monday. Will consider updating my review if and when this is resolved.

Be careful...
Sadly this is not a company I can recommend. First the good - the kit seems excellent (albeit it is early days) and the installation team were first rate. The bad - the company overcharged me initially by a sum in excess of £1000. I was asked for payment of over £10,000 immediately 'the ink was dry' on the installation (see clause 3.12 buried deep within the terms and conditions). There had been some necessary onsite changes to the scheme but no-one in the accounts department had apparently bothered to check their true effect on the invoice. The Operations Director of the company described the 4 figure overcharge in an email to me as a mere 'discrepancy'. I can think of many words to describe such state of affairs. Discrepancy is not one of them. Had I not challenged the invoice at the time (as I suspect many would have not) I would have been £1000 + out of pocket with no effective redress.
You would have thought I would have received an abject apology in writing for the above (the company having been paid in full now) but sadly not.
To conclude - it would be prudent to consider the alternative suppliers of this technology. If you do decide to use Climastar be very careful and double check all financial calculations supplied to you before payment.

System thoroughly tested.
The installer fitted the radiators and hot water system, removing the large cylinder, and left everything clean and tidy. He took great care to test the system and to explain how to regulate the temperature.

The heaters were fitted in a timely manner from sales to end of installation. All of the old radiators were removed with minimum damage to surrounding decor and disposed of consciously.
Workmen should wear booties over their footwear to protect floor coverings.
