Absolute scam

4 months and no order, I've reached out everywhere.

It's mentally draining and exhausting chasing a scam company for MY money, I don't think you consider how this maybe affecting people.

I'm tired of battling you now, I'm opening a fraud case and filing a charge back through my credit card company.

Also it's against trust pilot to offer discount in exchange for a good review. Truly awful ethos.

delays but good customer service

I love the idea behind this site and about how sustainable it is, The staff are friendly but the website it’s self is ( at least in my opinion) difficult to navigate and to be honest rather misleading. At this time they are experiencing delays due to the surplus demand of orders however at the time of my purchase there was no air of this issue- it advertised to be delivered in 2-4 days yet it’s been almost a week and a half. Not only this, but when you email and ask for the reasoning behind such a delay they expect you to have been updated by their social media pages; what if a client didn’t have social media’s? I haven’t experienced any other worries besides from the listed above. Although i haven’t spoken too highly of this company i really do believe it’ll grow exponentially in popularity due to its modernity and sustainability. I have emailed them about delays to which they’ve promptly replied with helpful news. Of course it is not their fault that their rise in popularity was so rapid and extreme- so it is completely unacceptable to slander them for this as many have in their reviews. Some news letters are rather unprofessional- with use of foul language and almost direct complaints. I also think it’s unfair that those who publicly speak about their experience with this company in a negative light and all comments posted on their social media pages have to be approved before they really do post will not receive their package and be given a refund- this feels almost oppressive and censoring.

Still waiting on my order………..

Placed an order in July and still not received this. Responses to emails are ridiculously delayed, it took a month to answer my first email but then marketing emails are coming thick and fast.
The brand is always on TikTok claiming not to be a scam however it’s quite clear that they are in over their heads and shouldn’t keep promoting stock they clearly do not have. I struggle to believe that they are so busy they can’t respond to emails and think this is more likely to be down to spending time creating social media content instead of focusing on customer service. Get it right for the customers you do have before you start trying to get more.
Who knows when or if I will ever receive my jeans but I would never order from this company again and definitely wouldn’t recommend to friends.

- Google ‘trustpilot whistleblower’
- Click on the link titled ‘Does TrustPilot have a whistleblower function?’
- On the page that opens scroll down to the section titled ‘Be a whistleblower by contacting Content Integrity directly’ and then click on the link ‘contact our content integrity team’

Then a form will open where you can report them.

Select ‘Report a company’
and ‘company is offering incentives for reviews’

Absolutely avoid

After ordering back in May I was completely understanding of the pressure the company come under from going viral. Since then though I’ve lost patience with excuse after excuse, I’ve reached out multiple times via email most the time getting an automatic response and that was it. I started to gain a little bit of trust in the company back when I finally got a human response, they organised arranged to change the order, and told me they would be packaged up and sent the next day over a month ago. Now it’s back to absolute zero response from them.

Scam

Will happily send our emails asking you to buy mystery boxes off them but as soon as you email regarding an order placed in June they’re no where to be seen. Then they will post Tik toks saying people are calling them scam artists and how we should all feel sorry for them because they’re a small business struggling with going viral :( if you can not supply the product your ordering in a timely manner don’t go on to promote other stuff. I get that it’s not going to be next day and I might have to wait a while but 4 months is stupid, and if you’ve got the stock to be marketing about your mystery box where’s mine?

Instead of sending your customers emails saying “we f*cked up” “we’re not a scam” just send out the products they’ve ordered.

Edit: this company is now sending out emails threatening customers that they will not receive the parcel they have ordered and paid money for if they leave a negative review. I’ve just recieved an email that reads

“Customers which make TikTok accounts or videos slandering the brand will not get their order any quicker, in fact, they won’t get it at all”

So they’re happy to give away 50% discount to customers who sing their praises but if you’ve got an honest review they don’t want your custom and won’t send your order out at all.

Not only is it very unprofessional sending out yet another email where we are supposed to feel sorry for you it’s even more unprofessional to then say you now can not have your order at all because of your review. I will be reporting this business and taking it further so hopefully no one else will be taken advantage of.

They are paying people to write reviews on here!!

Surely this has got to be illegal??

Most of these people haven’t even placed an order yet - they’re publishing these reviews in order to receive a 50% discount off their order!!

I was hacked off before but now I’m genuinely angry with this company.

They have been ignoring our pleas for updates on our orders for MONTHS, plus deleting any social media comments when we are desperate for another way to get in touch with them.

Any attempts now to placate us are pointless unless you actually send us our order and stop treating us like this.

This company are breaking consumer laws left, right and centre. I am reporting them to Trading Standards in a bid to prevent others from losing their money too.

What’s the bets that I will get either their impersonal copy-and-pasted reply or none at all.

These guys need to take a course in how to treat customers and learn how to run a business legally.

Absolute scam artists

Absolute scam artists. Supported then even after their first failed attempts. They don’t sent orders and complain about people on tik tok that as if they are a scam ? Make it make sense. Please please do not give them your money. You can get second hand jeans for 5 quid in your local charity shop. They’re not doing anything new. They positive reviews are because they’ve been offered money off order if they post one

Negative reviews are super damaging to small businesses and as a team we feel heartbroken that we didn’t get it right on this occasion.

Regarding delays with getting orders out, we’re a small team growing a slow fashion brand, orders have been delayed due to going viral and supplier issues which are out of our control. We have been sending these orders out as quickly as possible and have employed 2 members of staff to help with this.

The extremely low prices of our products reflect the way in which we do practice. Our products are mainly mystery boxes and sometimes we do not have all sizes in stock, which can mean waiting for your size to come in stock. But we do prioritise orders by date, meaning oldest orders get sent out first.

We have had a delay banner on our website for some time, along with ‘pre-order’ product descriptions, explaining that we cannot get your order out straight away.

We would like to remind you that we are not Amazon, we’re a tiny team going as fast as we can whilst still trying to provide a quality service. We feel as though with the amount of emails we’re receiving despite the delay banner on the website that we must choose between providing a quality customer service experience OR quantity and just replying to as many people as possible but not really solving the problem. We want to provide the best customer service experience possible hence expanding our team.

We want to change any negative connotations of our brand and fix any issues. If you could please get back to us with your contact details so we can speak privately it would be appreciated.

This company is genuinely one of the…

This company is genuinely one of the most well founded and kindest companies I have purchased from. I am trying to cut down on fast fashion whilst also saving pennies and Clothes before Bros is a lifeline. Yes there have been delays with customer service, and shipments however they company is completely transparent with this and alert everyone via social media. If you want you shopping immediately, go to your local shopping centre. This company offers clothes with stories and quality behind them. I’ll definitely buy from them again.

Vintage mystery box review

I ordered the levis jeans mystery box. I received some blue skinny jeans which were the perfect size! I also ordered the vintage T-shirt mystery box and was very happy with the print (corona bottle) and fit great. Only issue was the supplier but that wasn’t a fault on their side and I received an email explaining the late issue also.

Bribing customers for good reviews, bad business

Probably the worst customer service you’ll receive. Not only has my June order still not arrived and my emails have gone unanswered, they’re now emailing out bribing for better reviews. I quote- “We thought it was a great idea to set up a TrustPilot to gain credibility as a brand but sadly since then we’ve not received a great amount of positive feedback on there💔 whilst we are reaching out to these customer to try and fix things, we would LOVE some fresh feedback to gain peoples trust again!
Therefore, if you leave us a positive review on TrustPilot and email us the link to it, we will send you an exclusive 50% off discount code to use on absolutely ANYTHING on our website to say a huge thank you.”

Surely that breaks some trading standard? Don’t believe the influx of good reviews, they’re incentivised and the majority of people never get their order and judging by the reviews of those who did, they’re not great when they do come!

Not great.

I wanted to love this so much. Thrifty, exciting mystery boxes, pretty cheap however I ordered 5 weeks ago and have received no package. I checked their instagram which had a highlight pinned from 10 weeks ago which was mostly saying "we f****d up" and had a "please feel sorry for us" vibe. Honesty is commended but stop taking orders until you can manage what you have. Disappointed to say the least. Only reviewing here because they've offered benefits to anyone who gives a positive review which isn't a fair assessment of any business. Here for balance I suppose. I might have a better opinion when/if I ever receive my order but that remains to be seen.

Poor service and poor marketing i

Didn't receive my order or response to any of my emails asking for an update despite receiving marketing emails asking me to spend more. Eventually got a refund after 6 weeks. They blamed going viral for their hiccups but they tried to capitalise on this and sell what they couldn't keep up with. Now they're asking people for positive reviews for 50% off.

Missing order, no response

I really wanted to love this company, however I placed an order over a month ago and still haven't received it. I've tried reaching out via Instagram and by email three times and have had no response. In the meantime I keep getting marketing emails which is frustrating, particularly the most recent one offering 50% off for a positive review when my original order still hasn't been filled. Great concept but the execution isn't great.

Bribing people for positive reviews!!!

I’d give 0 stars if possible. I placed my order on September 2nd for some Levi jeans after seeing the company’s tiktok hoping to either give the jeans to a friend for their birthday or keep them for myself, over a month later and they’re still not dispatched and the birthday has long since passed. I emailed the company a few weeks ago, it took well over a week for a reply and when I finally got a reply, I was told the items were just a preorder even though I don’t remember that being stated when I was placing the order. Even if it was stated that it was a preorder and I just didn’t notice, I’m still very disappointed as they aren’t even able to provide an estimated delivery date which I asked for in my email to customer services. I feel they should at least be able to provide an estimated delivery date with preorders instead of just leaving people in the dark. I don’t usually write reviews, never mind negative ones, but I’m rather angry now because the company is sending out emails basically bribing people to write good reviews in order to get a 50% off code for their next order if you send them a link to your good review. This is incredibly frustrating as they’re bribing people with 50% off codes for new orders even though it seems they aren’t even capable of sending out orders from over a month ago. I understand this is a small business but I’ve ordered from small businesses before and it’s never been this bad, this company is nearly verging on incompetence and it seems to be excuse after excuse. I’m not happy at all and am even more disappointed in them for bribing people with discounts in order to get enough good reviews to filter out the negative ones they’ve been receiving (it was actually stated in their email saying they basically wanted good reviews to counteract the negative ones they’ve been receiving even though it seems to be the case with most customers that they don’t deserve a positive review). Be careful of any good reviews of this company as most of them will probably be fake now and only order if you’re prepared to wait a long long long time for your order. I’d cancel my order but it’s been such a long time I’m more curious to see if the jeans ever turn up even though it’s not looking like they ever will.
