Excellent paid double of what o2 were willing to pay for virtually new phone 3 weeks old in fact.
Extremely fast pay out and emailed every step of the way 100% recommended.

Ordered a recycling kit from Clove and posted the item using the Tracked 24 sticker provided on 24 October. I followed the instructions to the letter and even obtained proof of postage but the item was not received.

Royal Mail has now declared the item as lost and require Clove (as the 'customer') to raise the claim as they provided the postage sticker.

However, Clove are impossible to get hold of. Phone lines are totally unresponsive, 2 messages I left having not been returned, and every line on their online menu rings out or is ignored.

I urgently need to get hold of someone to help me process the claim and discuss compensation. I am incredibly out of pocket as a result of the item going missing through no fault of my own and I can't claim for it without Clove being involved. Waste of time and an upsetting amount of money to lose. Clearly, Clove do not supply appropriate business postage with the insurance coverage needed for the value of the item you wish to send to them. Beware!

This is the second phone that I've recycled with Clove, the whole process is just so well laid out, from the quote to receiving the return package and the speed of payment, flawless procedure and easily the best quotes available! All correspondences are clear and you're kept updated at every step! This really is how all businesses should operate! Excellent again for the second time.

Devalued my phone which was 4 Weeks old the reason was general wear and repair. Had phone returned

Sent off my Pixel 6 to Clove after receiving a quote of £290. I have noticed that subsequently their new offer for a Pixel 6 is now £209 but they say that your quote is held for 14 days! CR say they accept wear and tear which doesn't affect their valuation, the only issue with my phone was a small scratch on the bottom left corner, the screen is in perfect condition as is the rest of the casing. They sent me an email stating there was a deep scrape, which it isn't, and that they had made a, in their words, 'small revaluation' which I could accept or reject. Their 'small revaluation' amounts to an almost 28% reduction, from £290 to £210, that is not a 'small revaluation' that is an attempted rip-off, god knows how they get all these 5 star reviews if they think that is fair. Will be rejecting their offer and getting my phone back as I am not accepting this laughable attempt at them trying to renege on the 14 day quote hold, which is what they are obviously trying to do. Update 20/10/22 - rejected the offer on Monday 17th, no confirmation of despatch back to me, tried to call today and all the lines are either engaged or just cut you off, not encouraging at all! Edit 21/10/22 - Emailed Clove on their contact page and they advised they had held on to the phone due to the postal strike and have now despatched it back to me, so will hopefully be here soon. Still stand by the disappointment in the revaluation. Further edit - Disagree with the patronising reply from Clove, it is not a deep scratch or gouge but hey you make the rules! Update 28/10/22 - So Clove decided to add a little more to their reply claiming not to be patronising and yet once again they were asking if I'm misunderstanding grades although their grammar needs attention 'so had to wonder if have are misunderstanding the grades?' eh? Also claimed that I had issues with other recyclers, really? I think that I am reasonably au fait with the English language and can comprehend grading so I don't need lessons from Clove. I have now received my phone back but for some reason, even though I sent it in the box Clove decided to tape the phone to the outside of the box and send it back, albeit in bubble wrap! It is also missing the screen protection that a new phone comes with which was sent with my phone. Clove if you want to get into an argument regarding my grasp of written English first of all make sure yours makes sense!

Cannot fault my experience recycling my phone at all.

My recycling pack was delivered the next working day, was easy to package and post, and my phone was assessed and the funds deposited into my bank account within 24 hours of receipt.

I've recycled several electronic devices in the past and this has been the best experience by far.

The service was quick and pretty good to be honest, the phone value drop was pretty significant, so I rejected it and assume I'll get it back pretty quick to try a different company.

They offered me £350 which I expected to drop because my phone had a small scratch at top of screen, but certainly not by £170. I suspect this is more to do with the fact they now only offer £241 for same phone, so would technically be at £70 drop (still a tiny bit high) if I did the deal today.

I would certainly take 14 day locked price promises with a pinch of salt in future.

I just wanted to add, perhaps you didn't read my review correctly, but I did not select the incorrect grade at all. The "comparison" site I went through offered me new/working/broken. Your site directly offers average, which is bypassed when using a comparison site, so you are incorrect, and the fault lies with your integration of comparison site.

So I will thank you not to insinuate what I did. I followed the correct process as presented to me.

Can't fault this company for the ease of selling my phone from first contact to payment which was in my bank same day my phone had been accepted.

The phone took a number of days to be delivered through Royal Mail. However, once it was delivered, the phones inspection and payment were both completed on the same day. So overall, satisfied with the selling my phone to this company.

Took a chance and used them for the first time... Turned out great. Sent the phone off to them (special delivery) in the afternoon and £350 was in my account the following afternoon just before 5pm. Great service and none of the stupid haggling over price you see from some of these company's.

Sold two old iPhones through Clove Recycling. Sent phone in on the 26th Sept, money in my bank on the 27th. No deductions, no fuss, with very good communication. I would use them again in an instant.

Firstly I sold a phone because they offered a very fair price and a pickup service. Collected on a Thursday an paid into my bank on Friday. Secondly I brought a phone and that arrived the next day. Fantastic 5* Service. I would not hesitate to use there services again.
