Everything was great. Hire of skis very easy. Lovely food and excellent service. Love the easy ski out. We find the ski back a little difficult but didn’t stop our enjoyment….we just took it a bit easy
Clearly the employees at club med uk lack professionalism and people skills. I am extremely disappointed and not pleased with the customer service that I received. I felt like I have been scammed and lied to.
I wanted to change my booking that’s in two months to a different date and so I gave the club med office a call. The specific staff named Aylish (might be spelt wrong, but she said there’s only one Aylish working there), answered and told me that it’ll be an extra £130 to change the date for the stay, and the money is purely for changing the flight. So I accepted and told her that I would like to pay immediately, which she then replied that she’ll need to contact the flight team at club med to confirm and call me back. I didn’t understand what’s the reason why she needed to further confirm anything given that she already had the information there. But anyways, she called half an hour later, and told me that I will have to pay £310 now to change it. I asked her to explain why and if I can change it to another flight, and she just replied that it’s the variability of flight fees, and she was being pushy and saying that it’ll be the same or even more expensive if I change it to another flight and we should proceed. Then, she left again to confirm with her flight team, and called me back and told me that I need to pay immediately. I asked her for a complete breakdown of the cost of the flight, as I literally found the same flights from the airline’s website that are at around £100 cheaper than what she quoted, and that’s to buy a new set of tickets separately instead of rebooking. And suddenly her tone became aggressive and simply said “no, you need to pay now or your flight will be cancelled” in a very rude and even arrogant tone. I don’t know about you but the way she acted and talked really sounded like she’s trying to scam me. And after a bit more of talking, she mentioned that there are “other costs” within this £310 but refused to explain. But she literally said that this cost is purely for changing the flights? And when I asked to speak to her manager, she told me that her manager has left the office and will contact me via phone or email depending on “how busy” she is, which really sounded like “oh you can’t do anything about it even if I don’t inform my manager”. I really don’t understand how a person working in a relatively luxurious travel agency’s customer’s service department can be so unprofessional and rude to their customers. Was there no training on how they should talk to their customers?

The resorts are good, but ClubMed UK customer service is anything but.
Rude, arrogant and lazy. No assistance whatsoever in changing an error they made on the flight bookings, but insisting it must be us who spend hours on hold trying to correct THEIR mistake with the airline.
Long waits on the phone, "computer says no" attitude. The UK office completely lets down the ClubMed brand. Needs a complete overhaul and lessons in what real customer service is
Terrible service. I'm going on a ski trip where I've already paid for everything and have a limit of 20kg luggage, including my ski boots. This is ridiculous, how am I supposed to fit a week's worth of ski gear and clothes, my helmet and 6kg ski boots in one suit case? I'd be allowed to bring skis as a second piece of luggage, but not boots. Despite the fact that I'm not bringing skis, I'm still not allowed my boots as a second piece of luggage, even though it's only 6kg and small. The customer service seems to have "computer says no" syndrome and have been unwilling to help. Clearly this is a scheme as I need to pay extra if I have over 20kg. Horrible service, already regretting booking with Club Med and Titan Airlines before even going on the trip. Never again
We go to the club at least 4 times a year for over 20 years.
On the 9/1 we booked a stay with an agency,
on 11/1 prices drop by 10% or 700 eur
We had not been warned
No compensation or commercial gesture
Clubmed despises its customers, even the most loyal
We were looking forward to skiing with Club Med in Serre Chevalier for the first time, as we had heard such good feedback. However, the hotel was average at best, the staff were not helpful and no-one had any idea where we need to be for kids club, ski school, etc so it was a hectic start until we could find our feet. The mini club team also spoke minimal English, so my 3YO son found it very hard to communicate and spent most days crying until we picked him which was awful.
However my main compliant is regarding the communication from Club Med - or lack of it. I thought my husband had paid for the holiday and he thought I had, but the first time we knew there was a problem was four months after we returned - at no time did we receive payment reminders, overdue payment reminders, a phone call - nothing. I have also made a complaint to Club Med regarding the lack of communication but am still to receive a satisfactory response. Avoid avoid avoid...
Staff excellent customer service and skills.
Always helpful and professional.
They are prompt to response and reliable.
We stayed at Palmiye in September and thought it was fantastic. Excellent site, food, accommodation and amenities. We are planning to return in 2024.
Staff. Very friendly
Food outstanding
GM approachable
Cleaning staff 100%
All the staff were very friendly and so helpful! The GM was super involved too!
It's not the fault of Club Med that Storm Daniel came along, but, with 4 days of exceptionally heavy rain and storms, the holiday was a washout.
Everything was affected- rain came sideways into the restaurant and bar. The Organising team could have organised a lot more engagement and entertainment under cover (even quizzes or group activities would have been welcomed). There were minimal exercise classes, and when a large number arrived for a Zumba class, no instructor arrived.
We were told afterwards that it was "complicated" (In French), but nobody apologised, and Head of Sport and Entertainment was dishonest.
All guests were depressed and disappointed, and we thought the organising team could have done more to lift spirits.
I would like, however, to compliment the restaurant and catering staff for doing their best in a very difficult situation.
Club Med Punta Cana.
Out of 10 Days stay, only had internet in the room for 3 days. (Some people do have to work on their holidays)
TV was broken, replaced after 4 days of complaining
Mini bar unplugged and empty.
Very rough bottom of the main pool with pieces coming off made my 5 year old daughter’s feet bleed on day two, forcing us to buy an overpriced cheap plastic pair of swimming shoes at their boutique shop.
Restaurant served us hotdog on a flaming hot plate, burning my daughter’s fingers
Pool water chemicals stained for good every piece of swimwear we had.
My little one had an ear infection and we ended up spending 200 dollars with the club doctors and medicine. ( make your kids wear ear plugs at the main pool) again.. maybe the chemicals)
No pool service
Rude staff, specially the towels hut keepers.
All inclusive drinks were knock offs of original staff for example you’ll see a bottle of jack Daniel's with the same shape and label but with another name. Guaranteed headache.
Omelette station guy at the main restaurant starved almost raw eggs, had food poisoning and cost me 4 days of my stay.. in the room with no WiFi or TV.
We spoke with a manager and stated all of the above, they were very apologetic and offered…….. a late checkout.
Later another manager got in touch via text saying we would get some refund and they’d send an email with a link. This was back in October, it is now December and still nothing.. instead, we get daily junk emails with including this one to leave a review.
There you have it then.
We stayed at ClubMed Atlantique in France. Worse ClubMed experience in our 15 years with the company. Very disappointed, not sure we will consider ClubMed ever again.

Fantastic stay. The entire team was helpful, resourceful, and friendly, making our holiday a pleasure. The food was fantastic and a good varied choice of options. The rooms were large and well-designed. The location was a dream, close enough to the beach for that experience and close enough to the mountain for that experience.
Multiple conferences were being held at Opio concurrently during our stay despite being reassured by the booking agent that there were not. One night we had loud partying in the nextdoor bedroom till 3am. In the main pool the conference members were loud, singing and dominated the pool on multiple occasions, so people preferred the zen pool which is quite small so was often at overcapacity. In the restaurant there were, on several occasions, jostling and yelling conference members, e.g. a group of conference members from a tech company shouting and crowding the drinks areas. It felt like we were at a work event not on holiday. On the upside the food was really very good, the rooms very pleasant, the golf restaurant exceptional and the olive grove absolutely beautiful. However I would not go back to this resort. We have regularly been on club med holidays since 2007 but this experience has really put us off.
I found the Club Med, Cancun experience, very relaxing and the staff very attentive. The quality of the food and drink its presentation and service was a very high calibre. The staff were friendly, helpful, and insured our vacation was perfect.
Our flights were cancelled by Club Med and not by the airline and no compensation given.

Amazing service both from customer services and at resort. Can not fault
Over recent years we have booked our ski holidays independently, ie flights, transfers and hotels. This year we thought that we would take all the hassle out of things and treat the family to a luxury package SKi holiday with ClubMed 15-22/December at a cost of over £8k for 2 adults and 2 children.we were booking a package ski holiday we correctly expected Club Med to behave like other ski tour operators (eg Ingham etc) who sort the flights, transfers and hotel accomodation. (We are staying at their hotel in Alpe d’Huez). Unfortunately our experience so far is proving an enormous headache! Despite this being a package SKI holiday, ClubMed didn’t engage with us regarding baggage and automatically booked 4x23kg hold bags with EasyJet. Although this is a ski holiday (a clue in the title!) they refused to book our skis on the flight. When we contacted their customer service centre they simply told us (despite booking the package holiday with ClubMed!) that we should contact the airline ourselves and pay £148 extra to change two of the 23kg hold bags (that we didn’t want in the first place! ) for 2 ski bags.
Our experience of the ClubMed customer service and booking team (for this supposedly luxury package holiday!) has been terrible. Not only have they booked 4 hold bags that we never wanted at an additional cost of £35.74 per bag each way (totalling £285.92!), but they refuse to assist with dealing with THEIR flight operator (EasyJet) to sort our holiday baggage needs. As the easyJet booking was made by ClubMed (the agent) we (the ClubMed customer) can’t do this directly with easyJet.
So far the experience of dealing with ClubMed has been dreadful and it is unlikely I will ever book with them again!!!!! Don’t be fooled that paying a premium with ClubMed will guarantee good customer service! Use another agent and never book direct!
Follow-up- ClubMeds response received on 27/11 (referred to in their response below which implies that they have tried to address my complaint for the purpose of Trystpiot). Their response simply confirmed that they wore not prepared to do anything to address our ski carriage issue. This reinforces my original view of the poor customer service. Buyer beware.
