Samuel Nicholson from Collecting Cars looked after me when I sold my Aston Martin Dbs. He kept me informed through out the whole process .From the start to finish it’s been seamless, no effort from me was required. The platform really works well, they came and took photographs and then went live with the 7 day auction. All through the auction week and especially the final day and hours they were attentive and responsive to the changing situation with recommendations.Also I must mention how honest Sam and his team were always available with advice and guidance about even about the after sales process.

The team members I was predominantly dealing with were professional; supportive, and generally seeking the best outcome to my listing on the day of auction

Easy and smooth transaction, customer service team were helpful readily available to answer any queries.

Communication was great up until I paid the mandatory photography fee, then nothing. I had to chase repeatedly just to get the shoot booked, delaying everything by weeks.

The photos came back well below the standard I’d expected for a premium auction listing, so I contacted them to request a reshoot. I’ve reached out multiple times since via email, WhatsApp and phone with no response. Months of wasted time and no progress.

I’ve now requested a refund - I won’t hold my breath. Save yourself the time and stress, and go elsewhere.

I decided to sell my car through Collecting Cars and what’s can I say.
From my initial enquiry which was handled be Fynn, he helped with explaining the process of selling through Collecting Cars, valuation and agreeing on a reserve price. Then on to Sam who helped see the car through the auction which resulted in a sale well over the reserve price.
Everything went smoothly and would use again.

Generally OK, extremely pushy sales team though, and disappointed with the sales price which I feel was impacted by CC not allowing me to describe the condition or provenance fully. which I found very strange.

Totally bizarre business model from what I thought was a respected and reputable company.

Enquired about auctioning a 2x2 reg and was encouraged to set the reserve at 6k - anyone with even a scrap of knowledge about dateless registrations will know this isn't an appropriate price in 2026 for a 2x2, it's barely even trade value. I can't say I understand wanting to sell something way under market value, just for the sake of making a sale?

Communication from the sales rep I spoke to was good, of course it's not down to them how the business is run, but highly recommend avoiding selling with this company.

Great website easy to use the service

Right from initial enquiry through to sale of vehicle I felt that I was in competent hands. Many thanks for the advice and general management throughout the process. Defo use CC again should the need arise. Excellent service and recommend them to anyone selling their valued asset.
