Bought lavina sofa, 4 months later, unbearable to sit on so saggy. Total waste of money so if you see any on clearance or sale I wouldn't bother

Good showroom, but unable to have a meaningful conversation on cushion replacements as we were advised to go to a local stockist.

Really comfy and the right shape which is why we got it,but very poor finish for such an expensive purchase.
Lots of bits of thread hanging loose and a split inner cushion after 8 weeks.

Excellent product, both comfortable and stylish. Couldn't fault the service by both Ward Brothers in Doncaster and the staff in the Collins Hayes main Showroom where we had the chance to evaluate the whole product range on display and get advice from the manufacturer. Made this purchase a pleasurable experience.

Purchased a Radley sofa & armchair about six months ago, incredibly comfortable and looks really stylish too. Was hard pushed to choose one as they were all so soft and comfortable in the shop!

I cannot complain about the quality of my suite but the back cushions do not have enough filling therefore all the filing sinks to the bottom making the back of the suite quite uncomfortable and looking very untidy.
The cushions are very heavy therefore having to plump them up up every time you sit on the sofa is quite a task.

We've hade two sofas and a chair since about 1998. Still going strong. We bought two sets of covers. I would like to refurbish the seat cushions and get another set of covers and maybe we will get another 20 years!
Can recommend

Visited the factory , very helpful. Rang to get swatches and they arrived promptly. Quality furniture. I am looking to replace a Collins and Hayes sofa and chair that I have had 20 years.

Have had Collins and Hayes sofa for 28 years ,still going strong ,( despite children and many parties ) love the fact that the cover can be washed with ease , have recently bought another Collins and Hayes after much sofa searching in various stores and online , returned to Collins and Hayes . You get what you pay for.

I requested fabric samples online, they never turned up! I rang to chase up, but very unhelpful response. Data protection rules, they said they couldn’t confirm if they had received a request via online website in my name, suggested I waited a bit longer, but nothing ever turned up. My 20 year old Collins & Hayes 3 piece still in need of recovering!

When I first purchased my modular settee I intended that I would keep it and recover it as it wore - unfortunately it is too expensive to do so and the original sizevif the settee is no longer made - annoying
It took my husband & I 10 years to find a suite we both liked. We took one look at your suite and both knew we had found what we wanted. It looked classy felt classy to touch and to actually sit down was so so comfortable. I am only sorry after 20 years you no longer make the same design.

Superb quality and comfort. Stylish fabric choices and good sample service. Highly recommend.

My sofas bear little resemblance to the comfort I felt when sitting on the same model in the shop. Really disappointed and rarely want to sit on them. I suspect that the slightly firmer fabric on the shop model prevents the sagging and slumping, creasing and folding which occurs on mine.
The manufacturer's sent a technician to look but all within normal parameters so £4000 down the drain as far as I am concerned.
I will buy 10 cheap sofas next time. These will be gone in less than a year as they are uncomfortable.
Samples came very promptly, however when on your website you cannot be directed to my nearest stockist list as the circle just keeps going around. Could you please advise who my nearest furniture shop who stocks your sofas is please my postcode is LE5 6ST

Good luck trying to get fabric samples. Ridiculous. With a previous purchase from Collins and Hayes I'd noticed a patterned fabric and been put together upside down - meaning on the one seat cushion I could never turn it over. Pointless complaining. I give up with this company now.

We were told when ordering from the showroom that extra arm covers were available. However, after about 10 days into the 3 week lead time we were called to say that they weren’t available after all. They could sell us the fabric but couldn’t make them. We cancelled.

Love the look of our two Lavinia sofas- as long as no one has sat on them! The back cushions don’t seem to have enough feathers in them and need plumping even if they've only been sat on for a couple of minutes. The fibre seat cushions also need plumping very day and are very squashy, so not as comfortable as we’d hoped. They have only been used in the evenings and mostly by just two (average weight) people, since getting them in January, so they have not had heavy use. So - a bit disappointed but I got the Romo Linara fabric I wanted and the overall look is great!
