If I could rate this company negative 10, I would. IN my life experience I've dealt with a lot of companies, but by far this had the worst customer service, uncaring (from all the wat to top, down...) people and even deceitful (sold me one machine, swore by it and delivered a lower hashing model).
Sent me a picture of my dusty machine once and always acted like they could never do anything about anything - it is what it is attitude at best - when someone actually responded... I moved my rig to Digital Bridge and finally feel like a valued customer. RUN from this company. they cost me thousands of dollars and it was even difficult to part ways from them.
This company is playing with customers money. They have a business model that totally take them of any risk and push the risk to customers and their hosting sub companies. They never delivered anything on time and there is no compensation given to customers. Please stay away and invest your valuable hard earned money elsewhere.
I have 3 miners running with Compass and 1 of them has been collecting dust for several weeks. The communication about their site is poor. For example: the miners was supposed to be online by may 5th, but at this moment it is still not running and there has been no communication about the extra delay. Contacting support is frustrating. No apologies, no compensation. I honestly think theyt don't even care. It's like talking to a wall which keep repeating the same bs. My advice: look for another company who do care about custommers.
Absolutely woeful experience with this company. I won't even bother going in to their handling of the Russian miner situation by the ex-ceo, I've written that as a tax loss and moved on.
However, the handling of their other miners and bundles has been atrocious. After being 307 days late, my last miner in a bundle came online (all the miners were delayed significantly resulting in higher electricity rates than initially promised on sign up, and lost opportunity time), only for the miner to go offline after only hashing for 24 hours. That was a month ago now and customer support won't respond to my ticket other than to inform me the ticket has been created. I've written multiple times asking for assistance and got absolutely nothing back. They won't tell me why the miner is dead, where it is, what's happening to it, nothing.
Their social media accounts focus on marketing and talking themselves up but never responding to customer complaints, their ticket system is no help and they shut down their discord after too many people went on there to complain. I don't know how else to get help from this company, they just seem to ignore the pleas of their customers.
I’ve been a customer for a couple of years and can say I would continue to use the whole service.
The unit & electric Pricing is reasonable and I always get a response to any query’s or issues in a timely manor .
Any downtime due to power fault was credited within the stated 3 month window.
My only issue was the online delay with my 1st machine which was due to the global issues with virus & delays.
Overall a Great Service for Hosting

With Compass, you can get into mining at a competitive electricity rate.
That's where the positives end. Customer service is atrocious. My miner has been down for days and support has not responded at all during that time. They have a phone number that you can call. However, it's only used for sales and not for contacting a support representative. Once you are hosted with them, Compass no longer views you as a priority.
Overall, I recommend you look elsewhere for your miner and hosting needs due to the shortfalls of Compass' customer support

I have 6 miners and now only 4 left mining on and offline. My brother has 7 miners. 2 offline, 1 missing, and 4 are dead and thousand of dollars hosting fee. My girlfriend end up with 1 miner. another word, we are fcked.

Purchased 2 miners from Compass which are offline since Feb 2022. Compass blames it on the war and refuses to refund the payment.
Do NOT trust this company. They have fail to deliver a single one of my 13 miners on time. 3 of my miners have been abandoned in Russia, zero communication on what they are doing to get those back if they are even trying. Some of my miners haven't even been plugged in yet because they don't have hosting space even though that's what you pay them for. I have ha issues with invoices due to downtime, which take months to resolve because they take weeks for 1 response. Now they are trying to bill me for months where my miners had zero activity, charge me late fees for bills I paid. This company is a mess, do not get near this company at all, you will have so many headaches and complaints you will wish you never heard of them.

I’ve been a Compass customer for 2 years and wish I could have every moment back.
I initially signed up for their Miner Mini Bundle and that ended up being one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made from an investment perspective. The initial decision was sound, based on the information that Compass provided. But our miners were delayed for over a year and as a result, by the time the miners came online they were already outdated. We paid about $42k for 6 miners and as a result of their delays, lost about $20k on our investment over a 2 year period.
Compass promised to have all 6 of the miners live by the summer of 2022 but as of April 2023, that still hasn’t happened. For about 6 months, they wouldn’t even provide updates on the status of our miner deployments. We ended up selling our mongers to recoup some of the costs because Compass appeared to have no intention of getting them online.
While their customer service has improved greatly, I wouldn’t trust them moving forward and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable mining partner.

I bought a minor over 6 months ago and it has still not been deployed. Every time I message Compass they have some excuse as to why it has not been deployed and to continue to wait. I have asked about options to send my property to me and they refuse to respond.
I had purchased another minor with them almost a year ago and now this minor is no longer operational. They have not notified me of what the issue is, what the repairs are, or when it could go back online. I have sent them several messages and they do not respond but expect me to keep paying the hosting fees.
Do not work with Compass. They are crooked and wouldn’t be surprised if this turned out to be a Ponzi scheme.

I've been a customer of theirs since the beginning and although they have at times been very responsive, the decline in their service and reliability has been a trend. To date they have never fulfilled the bundles and many a time I have no idea why a miner is down when it will be up again and why it is down.
Communication is terrible. Service is terrible. They have claimed to be able to repair miners but to date have had 4 break and zero repaired. I have gone so far as to have cancelled contracts just so I can get the miner and repair it myself.
There are many other companies that are reliable to use for hosting. Maybe some day they will be reliable like they were at the very beginning.
Compass Mining is an absolute disaster. Credits that were promised to be paid out are in fact being withheld and customer service takes weeks for every ridiculous response. When refusing to pay out termination credits after my machine was finally shipped to me after waiting for months, they actually said "sorry for the inconvenience". Imagine a company stealing money from you and calling it an inconvenience. CM is not a trustworthy business but just another crypto rug pull...
Don’t know what to say besides…..my whole money is wasted and this company is full with the biggest loosers I’ve ever dealt with in my whole life. I think the my never understood what customers are, there needs and who you should deal with other humans!
Compass Mining continues to disappoint at every turn. I'm still waiting to have miners deployed that are more than six months overdue. Meanwhile, one long-overdue new miner was finally deployed in early January, only to promptly die within two weeks (never even coming close to using up its initial hosting deposit); after several inquiries and SUPER-SLOW response time from CM support, I was finally told on February 14 that the miner is defective (duh...) and would be fixed "within the next two weeks". Well, guess what? It is STILL awaiting repair as of March 15 and hasn't hashed for one second in over two months. Still, unbelievably, CM insists on billing me for it regardless during this whole time. What kind of an idiotic business model is that????
Further, CM keeps promising that credits will be issued 2-3 months after the fact and expects me to keep paying my bills, even though they provide absolutely zero service to me in the meantime. How is that supposed to be an acceptable timeframe or modus operandi in the first place?? Besides, they NEVER deliver ANYTHING as promised, and they ALWAYS blame everything but their own glaring incompetence for problems and missed deadlines....
This company is a joke (sadly not even a remotely funny one) and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemies....
First class service with constant updates that always keep me up on the latest information on my miners. Very trustworthy and fair when applying service credits due to outages. very happy with Compass mining

do not waste your time and money I have two miners that have spent a lot of time down. At this point to recoup my investment will never happen. I am spending more and more money I am loosing. They have increased my electricity fee prior to the one year date originally stated. I have one machine up and running the other is supposedly down due to it needing PSU replacement/repair these units are new they might have been hashing for maybe 7-8 months before the company contacts me and asks for $500 to repair a PSU really the machine is not even a year old and gets so much rest because it is down and up and down again. The machine will be down 6-8 weeks for repais? These machines are supposed to have a life of 5-7 years they have not even cracked the warrantee time and already claiming they need to replace the PSU only $500.00 not sure what happened to the one year warrantee. I requested to have this unit shipped back to me. I have not heard from Compass. I have a few tickets and nothing. I called but phone support is not available maybe soon they say it will be. I use to be able to talk with other folks on discord but they shut that down claiming they no longer needed it and had plenty of customer support? I am wondering if some other person is mining with my down unit. I have no clue what is really happening in Texas. There is so much down time almost daily an hour here 4 hours there then 6 more and the biggest slap in the face is that on the most productive days the units are down not hashing so you never recoup your investment. Getting credit for the down time that's a trick? Well who knows if that is even the correct amount owed and recently it has been months since they deposited a credit into my account. However they took 50.00 from me for being a day or two late with my payment but credits they owe you for not keeping your machines up that is not the same thing. I am sick to my stomach I could have bought my kid a beautiful brand new car. This company is a scam.
My Mini Bundle Unit #6 was supposed to become online and hashing on July, 2022 but instead, it is 7 months late. I made all the payments including hardware, hosting deposit, and first month's hosting payment on time and my unit is 7 months late. At the time, the Compass Mining deployment status showed that 40MW of 60MW was online and hashing. I created a ticket for this issue and stated that there must have been a mistake and asked why 40MW of units are online and my unit is still not online despite the fact that it is 7 months late. The Compass Mining responded to this ticket with a deployment status link completely ignoring my questions and addressing why my unit is so late for deployment. One more time, Compass Mining did not acknowledge the delay nor took any accountability. As of February 20th, 2023 50MW are deployed (this is the latest Compass Mining update regarding Texas 3 Site) and my unit still not online. Even a small chance of this type of experience should terrify any potential investors and make them look elsewhere.
