Avoid. Poor product. Abysmal aftersales.
PC worked for a month then crashed. After a few days Compu-zone told me to reload Windows 10. Didn't work. After a few email exchanges Compu-zone did not respond to my requests for help either by phone or email. A local PC specialist considers that I've been sold a dud machine that should not even have Windows 10 on it (sabotaged was the description, perhaps to get me to send it back and incur repair costs not covered by warranty). There was also software on the PC that I did not install. It's repaired now, by my local person, with new drivers/hard drive etc... Compu-zone, sadly, likes to take your money - then forget you. Buy at your peril.
Bought refurbed Dell
Bought refurbed dell with SSD extra memory etc
Booted and had Stop Code errors straight away, tried to re-install windows and it does not boot into windows at all now, registered a support ticket and no response, chat with representative and she wiped the chat when I said I was fed up, so no response at all, after numerous mails from the delivery company returning the hardware stating that the premises had moved it was eventually delivered back on the 9th December. I had to send a mail on the 19th saying I had not heard anything from Compu-Zone. See reply below;
'I am sorry for the delay, we have been extremely busy due to the Christmas period.
We have tested the system and there is no apparent hardware fault. We have reloaded the system and done further checks and the system is running without a fault.
The system will be with you tomorrow and as a goodwill gesture we will extend your warranty by another 6 months.

We have finished testing the machine now and after further inspection we have identified a failing RAM module which has been replaced.
I am sorry for the level of service you have experienced, as advised we have been very busy due to the time of year and we have also moved premises.
I am happy to offer you a £50.00 discount off the price of the system and extend your warranty for 24 months, if you decide you want to carry on with the purchase?
Let me know what you would like to do and once again I am sorry for the delay in resolving your warranty issue.

I then phoned on the 19th Jan and a man said that the payment had been processed and accounts would send a process slip, which they did and it was dated the previous day, the payment came through a couple of days later.
To all who have read this.....make of it what you will. I was asked to moderate the original review, so I decided to elaborate and put down all the details as they happened.

Looked up on the internet and found found a number of companies doing refurbed computers. Compu-zone had a clear website and supplied products with a Microsoft certificate. Rang them and they incorporated upgrades easily and the goods arrived on time.

Why buy at full price when a reconditioned computer is just the same??
I have used Compu-Zone more than once and have found their service exemplary and their staff extremely helpful.
I am not in the full flush of youth (being 80 yrs old) and am not very knowledgeable about computers but have found Compu-Zone staff very polite, patient and very very helpful. I am sure that some of my queries must have been very basic, but in every way they have helped me. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
With the value on offer here for refurbished computers, I could never justify buying a brand new computer.
Bought a complete gaming package for €275 that I use for intensive maths software. A computer of this standard for half the price of the last laptop I bought would make me think twice about ever buying a brand new computer again. With upgrades also reasonably priced, you can customise some serious machines. Highly recommended.
A long struggle but got it right in the end
Purchased 15th March. First attempt to use on wireless connection system crashed to blue screen. Finally fully sorted 7th August.
Long delay complicated by fact I am in SW France and holidays and postal delay conributed a month or so of this. That said technical support responses were at times slow. The diagnostics seemed to suggest a Graphics card problem and I spent hours demounting and reinstalling all to no avail. It was not realistic to send the PC back for CZ to do an onsite diagnostic. In the end I tried the graphics card in an old PC where it worked perfectly. Then realised the old PC used a USB wifi adapter. Problem all along was PCI card.
Compuzone agreed this was the problem, so offending card returned to them and reimbursement made so I could choose my USB adapter.
In the end I have a PC that does what I want. Had technical support consistently met their service objective of 1 working day I could have given an extra star.
