Appalling treatment
This trip was advertised as Glasgow to Seville with complimentary tranfers. We booked and paid £949 each as we wanted a stress free day trip to Seville.
Before booking I checked out the company etc and was assured once money was received that I would receive a full itinerary of flight, transfers etc along with the ATOL certificate via email.
The money was sent and I received no further information. From the moment the money was sent things descended into chaos. A whatsapp group was set up with all passengers on it which only Admin could write on making it impossible to ask questions about what was happening. Information was drip fed throughout the 17th May with us finding out in the afternoon that the flights were now from Prestwick airport to Jerez!! When I phoned re this I was told it was a similar distance as Seville airport into the City. We were told mini buses had been booked to take us to Seville and back.
A message was then put on the whatsapp chat at 22.53pm (3 hours before we were due to waken up) to say there would be no transfers into Seville. To add insult Conor advised he would pay 50% of the expenses incurred as a gesture of goodwill!!!!!!!! I spoke to him at 1am and he resassured me the transfers from Seville back to Jerez were absolutely happening.
Got to Glasgow airport (for our transfer to Prestwick) and waited where Conor himself told us to be, only to see a whatapp message saying the bus was leaving as people hadn't turned up and it was at the Courtyard Hotel (10 minute walk away). This resulted in a random woman (who I think was Conors mum!!) driving to the airport and picking us up and taking us to the correct place.
Once on the bus a male said he was "staff" and had only been asked to go along with the plane the day before and he had no other information either.
When we arrived at Prestwick airport the 2 female members of "staff" due to go with us walked out of the airport and said they refused to go as the whole thing was a complete shambles. They didn't want to be left in the position of having a plane full of people who were rightly annoyed at the situation when they didn't know what was going on either.
En route to Jerez we had to stop at Santander for refuel which added another hour to the journey.
When we landed we had a message confirming the transfers from Seville back to Jerez would be going ahead and a pickup location would follow.
We had to make our own arrangements to get to Seville.
Most people had their phones off throughout the day to keep battery power. When I switched mines on at tea time there was a message saying the transfers back had been cancelled and if we wanted him to get us a bus back we must transfer £75pp to his account. This was at best, taking advantage of people who were vulnerable, in a foreign country, worrying how they would manage to get back to Jerez to ensure they got the flight home. Followed by an offer of £200 off future holidays with them.
They continued to tell us that they weren't big like other companies etc, and putting on certain transfers for us would leave them at a substantial loss. The irony of the fact all of the passengers were being left with a substantial loss due to their incompetence.
When we got back to Jerez airport and were checking in people were being stood out of the line and told they weren't on the list to board the plane. The wait for them must have been extremely difficult.
When we touched down at Prestwick airport we had another standard message advising us of alternative travel from Prestwick to Glasgow airport (where our cars were) as the bus transfer would be an hour late. When I phoned re this the male I spoke to basically said he didn't know what I expected when there were 100,000 people in Seville and anyone else he had spoken to from the two charter flights were very happy with the experience. Then said have a good day and hung up.
I have asked twice since we got home if I can be forwarded the ATOL certificate and I am still waiting. Also waiting on the email regarding expenses that need to be reimbursed ............ Tried to phone various times since I have returned - no answer.
Truly awful.
Ruined trip of lifetime
Due to all the reasons listed by other reports in respect of the trip to Seville on 18/05/2022 which I concur in full I had no alternative to cancel trip 6 hours prior to leaving. As a single traveller I could not take the huge risk of being stranded in Seville due to this companies inability to carry out a simple task of arranging a flight and transfers to one location. After all they are a travel company.
My only positive note is I was fully refunded but only after the facts and faults were explained to Conor Campbell himself and with the assistance of a third party.
THIS BEING SAID THIS COMPANY RUINED MY TRIP OF A LIFETIME.
Further, 5 days before we were due to fly Conor Campbell posted a video which included information that he had sourced 26 tickets from UEFA and was selling these for around £2700 per ticket. Highlighting his dishonesty and corruptness. (Video available)
Due to all the reasons listed in this post and others I would definitely not use this company again and advise all other travellers to do likewise. There are many honest and genuine travel companies out there so please use the services of another company.
Apologies…My name is Stephen Thomson and I am on your list.

Connor Campbell has no transparency
I held off writing a review based on my experience as i had seen others do so on facebook and thought id allow the guy a chance to reply and do the right thing, however he has since removed the review section from his facebook page which shows the company has no transparency.
I booked and paid £949 for direct flights to seville with transfers and full atol protection.
I recieved direct flights to Jerez with no transfers and still waiting on atol certification from the “third party company” (was it even atol protected?)
Our transfers from Jerez were cancelled at 11pm (6 hours before the flight) when most were in bed asleep not allowing anyone much time to sort anything out other than to turn up and wait for a taxi which we were told he would reimburse only 50% of that cost.
Arriving at the airport we checked in to a flight going to Seville, with boarding passes saying Malaga but being told wed be arriving at Jerez.
Communication onboard suggested that the flight crew were not 100% sure where we would be landing. Malaga, Jerez, Seville?
Our transfers to Jerez were changed three times untill they were then cancelled around 4pm whilst we were in Seville enjoying ourselves. He offered a £75pp alternative but only if minimum numbers were met. I had zero faith this would go ahead, so opted to find our own way. We eventually got a taxi after hours of waiting and cutting our night shorty to ensure we got back in time for the flight.
To add insult to injury upon arriving back at the airport others were asked to stand to the side as their names were not on the return flight. Another horrible wait to find out if you were getting on the flight or not.
From start to finish Connor Campbell Travel (Travel Inspired Ltd) gave us excuses like “out with our control” “this is a great expense to us” “we are not a big travel company”
You organised a circus, you were prepared to leave us stranded and fend for ourselfs, you are quite happy to leave us out of pocket, you are also happy to remove reviews instead of facing up to the justifiable criticism you are receiving.
To note - i was offered £200 off any future bookings with him, after this experience ld be surprised if anyone took him up on this offer, but i reckon he knows this.
Based on this experience i would not recommend Connor Campbell Travel (Travel Inspired Ltd)

A shambolic stress from start to finish…
A shambolic stress instead of a great experience. Initial communication on day one and two after booking was good, price of flight was exorbitant so it should have been.
Delay in any sort of itinerary started the alarm bells ringing. Informed with less than 24 hours to the flight that we’d be going to Jerez, 90km from Seville and flight time had changed, again, to 5am. Transfers were being worked on and that failed to materialise, we got told after 10pm the night before the flight there “may be no transfers”. For me that was about four hours before leaving for the airport.
Got to Glasgow airport at 2.30am to find that the original flight to Seville at 7am was still listed. Checked in and my boarding pass said Malaga? Neither Seville or Jerez, was told it was a typo! During the flight we overheard that it wasn’t 100% we were landing at Jerez. Unnerving. Jerez was 90km, Malaga would be over 200km, how would we get to Seville?
Got told that trains ran from Jerez airport to Seville. CC Travel obviously don’t do their homework as the 3 trains were fully booked. We landed at 10am and the next available train was 3:30pm. Taxi would be the only option.
Fans organised themselves and we shared a taxi at the cost of €128. We were told that the transfer after the match was arranged and the pick up location had changed too, to a closer hotel to Estadio Pizjuan than previous. Got into Seville, looking forward to the match and finally felt relaxed. At just after 5pm received a message that the return transfer from Seville to Jerez had fallen through. Asked to pay £75 per person to get us on a coach. Told to instant bank transfer to cover the cost, and once paid we’d get the pick up location. The nature of this message infuriated me & others. On top of the original taxi and shambolic state of this charter, Conor should’ve picked up the tab and ensured our transfer home.
Out of principle I did not pay another £150 for me and my father. We got a taxi from Seville after queuing for an hour, another €156, other passengers paid €250-400 for the taxi from Seville.
What were we offered during all of this? Nothing sufficient. 50% of the taxi cost of Jerez to Seville and £200 off a future holiday booking with Conor Campbell Travel. I’m sure it was a logistical nightmare at times for them but my overriding feeling is they took on too much on a scale they’d never handled. It was shambolic, it was stressful and it was a rip-off.
My lesson learned, never do it again with Conor Campbell Travel, hopefully he’s learned to stick with what he seemingly does well. Based on this trip, I would not recommend this company.

Shambolic
Initial communication was good, then they booked a second charter flight and it felt like they couldn't cope from that point on, despite taking on more staff to try and organise the day trips to Seville. Flight package was advertised as Glasgow to Seville, but one flight flew from Glasgow to Jerez and the other from Prestwick to Jerez.
We boarded a flight at Glasgow with a groupchat message that said we were going to Jerez, the check-in and gate screens said Seville and our boarding passes said Malaga. We were literally seated on the plane and we weren't sure where we were flying to.
They said the transfer company had let them down, but no alternative arrangements were made. They left people to fend for themselves at the very last minute and try and get costly taxis, in a city that had 100k extra visitors in it, to get into Seville and then get back after the game for the tight timescales for the flight back from Jerez.
Conor Campbell Travel will say the changes and let-downs were outwith their control, but they simply did not provide a good service, made no alternative arrangements and put on a charter that was just a stressful shambles.

Updated review. He’s just embarrassing himself now.
Travelled as part of a group from Glasgow to Seville return. Upon arriving at the airport we were informed we wouldn’t be landing in Seville, instead we’d fly to and from Jerez which was an hours drive away and were told there would be free transfers to Seville waiting for us as a result. Our boarding passes actually said Glasgow/Malaga which then caused even more confusion as we were seated next to a “rep” who after saying “ don’t panic” wasn’t even sure if we were going to be flying into Jerez. This guy seemed about as clueless as we were throughout both flights. A conversation with the flight crew after takeoff was overhead, saying they were still waiting on confirmation from Jerez airport as to whether we’d be landing there. Arrived at the airport in Jerez to find no transfers at all and had to pay €120 for a taxi to Seville. There were then several messages throughout the day advising where to meet for our transfers back to Jerez, however, ultimately this never materialised and to add insult we were asked to pay an extra £75 per person up front to guarantee our transfers back to Jerez from Seville. Again we payed over the odds for a taxi back to Jerez airport to find people were being refused their boarding passes as paperwork was filed incorrectly, a problem that was eventually sorted but by this point the damage was already done. I’ll be steering well clear of Conor Campbell Travel in future, from start to finish the organisation was poor for the money we payed.
This is an edit to the original
review. I’ve noticed Thomas, who organised the trip with Connor has stated that Connor has reimbursed everyone who made him aware that they were out of pocket. As stated I travelled as part of a group, our costs to get to Seville from Jerez and the return in taxis cost us £520 between 4 of us. I’ve just been informed that a payment of £240 has been payed into our spokespersons bank account, that’s less than half of what we had to spend. How did you come to the conclusion that this would be an acceptable amount? We want 100% reimbursement, nothing less. You’re just embarrassing yourself now, get the full amount payed and we can all move on from this sorry episode.

Where do I start! 5*
Where do I start!! I’m getting married in Cyprus and I gave Conor the responsibility of sourcing the best holiday for myself and my family (40+) dealing with all the separate people phoning/messaging to book up to adding people on each time I asked him to!! Then covid hit. Conor ensured that everyones booking was taken care of and transferred over to the new date, no jobs too big or too small. Conor has helped in so many ways, wheelchair assistance, single rooms, adding people onto bookings, removing people from bookings, arranging certain room requests (bottom floor) Conor is a very approachable individual with extensive knowledge in the travel industry, I honestly can’t fault him.
Can’t wait to use Conor on my future travels.
Fantastic service once again.
Conor goes over and above to arrange the best flight times and hotels that are suitable for my family. Would not book a holiday with anyone else. Thanks again
