Clunky design to order process, customer service dragging its feet
I was excited to surprise friends with custom baubles, and organised an order in early December to leave plenty of time. Was disappointed to receive a different design than the one I worked on for hours (clearly something went wrong from the design page to the "place order" page). Flagged the issue as soon as I received the package. Customer service took 4 days to get back, offering a discount once I had a new order number (instead of sharing it straightaway so that I could order in time). Though I responded straightaway with the new order number and advising time was running out, I haven't heard back for over 1 day and the time window has gone for me to order and receive the baubles in time. No custom surprise for our friends this Christmas.

Outstanding customer service
I ordered some teatowels as gifts based on my linocut print but was disappointed with the result. Contrado have been extra helpful in sorting this out quickly and even edited before reprinting for me. Will definately use again. Thank you Yash!

Excellent Customer Service and Quality Product
I've had a fantastic experience with this company, largely thanks to Riddhi's outstanding customer service. From my very first order, they've been incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process.
The transfer paper quality is excellent, and the team is always on top of orders. When I made an error with my first order (I accidentally mirrored an image when I didn't need to), Riddhi handled the situation promptly and professionally, resolving the issue quickly. I received my corrected order within 48 hours of production.
The only challenge I've encountered has been with Royal Mail delivery. Despite the 24-hour delivery guarantee, there have been tracking discrepancies and delays on their end - but this is entirely a courier issue, not the company's fault.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the product quality and the level of care taken with each order. The customer service is truly exceptional, and I wouldn't hesitate to order again.

Contrado did not print my item
Contrado did not print my item, I paid extra to get next day delivery so when nothing arrived I phoned them- despite their online info saying the order had been printed it HAD NOT. I was promised it by 12pm the next day (I needed it urgently for a work commitment) but it still didn’t come. Now they still owe me money back for the non postage but they won’t get back to me. Appalling

Contrado have let me down badly and now…
Contrado have let me down badly and now owe me money. They have repeatedly failed to resolve my issue (online it appeared that my order had been printed and was on its way but in fact they had run out of the fabric so nothing was happening!) so I am now going to trading standards. It used to be a good company so I don't know what is going wrong but I advise you not to order from them. GO ELSEWHERE.
Puzzle Jigsaw
I ordered 45 custom made jigsaw for our Hotel guests Christmas Present. Kajal was so helpful, always replying to my questions very quickly and helping me with everything I needed.
The puzzles look so beautiful and the quality is excellent.
AVOID.
Second time using the company. First for a custom lampshade and secondly for some custom bedding. The lampshade was very good but delayed several times before delivery, sadly the bedding is horrendous. One gentle wash on arrival as it had a chemical smell and all the image has run, faded, stained and looks terrible. We reached out to contrado who quizzed how and what we had used to wash the bedding. We sent them all the relevant information and they kept us waiting for quite some time before offering a resolution of “wash the bedding again” this doesn’t solve the problem. The bedding is a mess and cost over £100. They have now stopped responding to emails. I would warn others off using this company. Feel scammed and disappointed that my son’s new bedding isn’t perfect for him in his new bedroom.

Absolutely terrible products and service from Contrado!. I bought 34 placemats for resale, every single one looked like it had been cut by a child with blunt scissors. They were wonky, uncut properly and just no care or attention given whatsoever.
On making a compliant, I was asked to send photo proof of ever single placemat, which our employee did, and this took an hour to complete. An hour's wages they clearly will not pay for. Their response was, "they are handmade and hand cut and therefore useable". They will not accept responsibility, and offered us a 10% voucher, which is a complete insult. We will pursue a full refund via a chargeback with our card used, as they are NOT fit for purpose.

Contrado goes above and beyond!
The Contrado team truly went above and beyond with a very high profile gift we were asked to turn around in a very short period of time. Not only did they move mountains to deliver the product on time, the product and fabric quality they suggested was incredibly well received. I would recommend Contrado to anyone - from product to service, they are the best in the business!
Ordered "Save the Date" Arrived damaged
Ordered some save the date cards, they came poorly packaged with no protection and consequently are damaged and unusable.
Great quality and colour reproduction!
I wanted to thank you for the care you took over my order. This is an exciting new product line for me and I am launching it with a competition in Marie Claire magazine.
I was thrilled when I opened my parcel. The colours were even better than I had imagined them and very true to my original concept. The stitching and overall finish of the bags was perfect. I took the bags to show family and my sister has commissioned a different type of bag as a birthday present.
Poor production and even worse (non existent Customer Service)
Very hit and miss on production quality. Sometimes pretty good but when it goes wrong, it goes very wrong.
I spoke with an agent on Friday, regarding a Tea Towel order (the background colour was incorrect and so was the printed imagery). I emailed requested information and photos and received an emaild ticket number (C25-1010-1330-02XXX ), noting I would be contacted within 2-3 hours. I have received no contact.
I called this morning and waited on hold for 45 minutes; after which there was a notification that "there is an error with call forwarding" and the call was disconnected!!!!!!
I tried the online Chat facility (also not working). I tried the online form option (also not working - get an error message)
There was clearly a production issue with this order (I was sent an extra foc item with a note saying there was an issue). The right course of action would be to offer to remanufacture - the cost to Contrado = very negligible.
The cost to Contrado reputation, by their lack of customer service = very high...
For more details look at the email & photos and sort out without me having to try to contact you again.
If you can't do that then I'd like a refund for the items and i'll take all future business elsewhere.
***UPDATE*** After review posted I was contacted by Customer Service. Contrado did then endeavour to rectify the production issues. Shame it took a public review to get any response. Suggest Contrado make adjustments to their procedures to mitigate customers having to go to such extreme methods

Severe Quality Issues & Unresponsive Customer Service

Summary
DO NOT use this service for professional POD business. Multiple severe quality failures, refusal to take responsibility, and ultimately ghosted after 6 days of no response.
Quality Issues Documented:
1. Dramatic Color Inaccuracy
The t-shirt colors were severely oversaturated with green and blue tones, completely different from my design specifications. Ironically, their own packaging box displayed the correct colors, proving they have the proper color profile but failed to apply it to the actual garment. When confronted with this evidence, they claimed it was "the best possible" result for fabric printing - unacceptable for a professional print service.
2. Design Distortion - Technical Printing Error
The entire design exhibited vertical stretching. Circular elements (including a logo) appeared elliptical, proving the design was improperly scaled during printing. This indicates their pre-press process failed to compensate for fabric tension during printing - a fundamental error that any professional print service should avoid.
3. Poor Construction Quality
Shoulders poorly sewn and sticking up
Excessive garment length
Loose, poorly finished neck rim
Stiff, cardboard-like fabric texture even after washing
Overall unwearable quality
4. Packaging Issues
T-shirt box arrived with one flap unsealed, suggesting poor quality control throughout the process.
Customer Service Experience - TERRIBLE
Initial Response:
Deflected responsibility with technical explanations
Blamed "fabric absorption" for dramatic color errors
Offered insulting 10-15% compensation for completely unusable product
Claimed no other customers complained (defensive, not solution-oriented)
Second Response:
Refused full refund despite documented evidence
Claimed severe quality issues represented their "standard procedures"
Still deflected responsibility for measurable technical errors
Remake Offer:
Finally offered remake but asked ME to provide new design files in "sRGB color codes"
Shifted responsibility to customer instead of fixing their production process
Team "could not identify" obvious design distortion despite photographic evidence
Final Response: NONE
After declining the remake and requesting a refund with clear documentation, they have ghosted me for 6 days with no response whatsoever.

I have extensive photographic documentation showing:
Color comparison between packaging (correct) vs. t-shirt (wrong)

All email correspondence showing their refusal to take responsibility

This was a sample order to evaluate their service for potential larger orders. The combination of:

Recommendation
Avoid this supplier if you're running a professional POD business.
The quality control is inadequate, they refuse to take responsibility for clear production errors, and they will abandon you when you push for appropriate resolution. Their packaging shows they CAN produce accurate colors - they just don't apply proper quality control to the actual products.
Save yourself the headache and find a supplier who:
Takes responsibility for production errors
Has proper pre-press compensation processes
Provides adequate customer service
Doesn't ghost customers seeking legitimate resolutions
Update:
Currently pursuing payment dispute through my bank due to non-responsive customer service and defective product. Would not recommend to anyone seeking professional quality POD services.

UPDATE - Resolution:
After posting this review, the company responded quickly and professionally. The Customer Service Team Lead personally handled my case and issued a full refund within 24 hours ( we rendered the t-shirt and box unusable). They also offered a goodwill gesture and personal assistance for any future orders.
Final Assessment:
Positives:
* Eventually did the right thing with full refund
* Senior management intervention was professional
* Acknowledged the issues and resolved promptly once escalated
Negatives:
* Quality control issues remain unaddressed
* Initial customer service was inadequate
* Only resolved after public review pressure
* Their explanation that they "don't make adjustments" to files is concerning for a professional POD service

Wasted time with contrado. They don't have the right tool to edit images completely rubbish.
And now wait to see a reply from them I bet will come back no order found and please contact us to solve the issue just to make the response review look good for other customers
