Received a generic prescription for vaginal inserts which are meant to be torn at the time of use on a perforated line so the others remain sterile. This packaging was so flimsy it tore 2 at a time.... See more

Great pricing on my meds
I recently lost my group insurance and the cheapest price even with discounts for my meds is now $160 per month. I just got my first order from Cost Plus and it was $58 a month. I am so grateful for this service as I'm on a fixed income!
extreme delay, no communication, out of medication, experiencing withdrawal
In the past they have been ok, not fast, but not super terrible before now. But this time I have run out of medication and they have not only not delivered my medication they haven't even even filled the prescription 2 weeks after it was ordered with no notification other than immediately after it was ordered that they had received the order.
Had previously recommended to my psychiatrist as an option for other patients. Will definitely be changing that recommendation to an avoid at all costs.
Good savings!
I really like the service, and I save a lot of money on certain generic drugs. In addition, when I buy them at cost plus drugs, it doesn’t count against my Medicare limit. My one area dissatisfaction is that they’re often out of certain pharmaceutical drugs when I need them. Perhaps cost plus drugs has grown too fast to keep up with the demand?
Takes forever
Takes forever. Received an email saying there was an unspecified "issue" with my order. No details whatsoever. Out of stock? Payment issue problem? Delivery delay? Give me something. Depending on the problem I may want to cancel and go somewhere else. I'm aware of incidents where people wait months!? There is ZERO customer service. The contact info section says individual responses cannot be given because it would drive up costs. Why have contact info then. I will continue to wait because I am committed now but my refills will go somewhere else. The price seems low but now I question the authenticity and quality of the drugs. To me the nonexistent customer service is not worth it. Fortunately my life does not depend on this scrip
Wrong pill added to my prescription
I ordered my heart meds in early Oct 22. Received a week later with an errant pill mixed in. This errant pill would have had a toxic reaction with my heart condition if I had taken it.
I wrote an email to alert them to this fact, and asked how they were going to deal with this sort of dangerous error. I got back a form email stating they were too busy to respond to customer messages, which is how they kept prices so "low."
Their mistake didn't get me, but it's a miracle I noticed that errant pill before I swallowed it. I have an extensive medical background, but a lay person or older person with poor eyesight … well, I just wonder if anyone has passed away after taking the wrong medication mixed in with the right.
Great price, terrible customer service
The prices from cost plus drugs are great, but their customer service is terrible as is their website listing of available drugs.
The first order I placed was for a medication that was substantially cheaper than the pharmacy I normally use. After placing the order I got an email the next day saying it was out of stock even thought the website said it was in stock.
Also, I need arthritis-friendly lids. I live in New York City and the supplier that services this area doesn’t send the meds with these lids. I’ve emailed cost plus 3 times and haven’t gotten a response. When I try calling the supplier I’m on hold forever and can’t get through. Interestingly, my daughter lives in North Carolina and her meds from cost plus comes with the arthritis friendly lids.
Deceptive product availability
I love the company's mission to provide affordable drugs. However, my first experience ordering was not good. I looked up a drug I needed to prep for a colonoscopy, a very common medication. It showed as available and at a much better price than my local pharmacy. I spent an hour on hold with my provider to swith my prescription to Cost Plus Drugs only to find out that they didn't have it in stock so I couldn't order it. Now I will spend another hour to switch my prescription back to my local pharmacy.
It's a huge waste of your customers' time to list a product as "available" when it's not in stock. Please update the website to clearly mark products that are not in stock as unavailable and I will be happy to remove this review.
