Still ongoing claim, as yet very polite and certainly helpful. My claim is regarding redecorating due to water seepage from upstairs flat. I am in my eighties and recently lost my wife and they were so understanding.

The company agreed a claim, and even stated that payment would be made within 3 - 5 working days. The claim was then reneged 10 days later, when the repair work had commenced.

Oh I was delighted with everyone. Everyone was so nice, polite and helpful. I was so pleased how the whole process went. Luke was so helpful I was ahead of him at the end !!
Although my husband didn't expect it to be his fault because of the speed of the other chap, a young lady explained the situation.
Thank you Luke and to everyone I spoke to making a horrible experience easy to deal with. Thank you all.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. My car was parked and hit, but Covéa took my excess and then did nothing. I had to chase numerous times and each time was told they had too many cases on the go to deal with mine. They then said they had sent the case to solicitors but that proved to be false. I will never take out insurance with them again!

I have never been treated so abysmally by an insurance company. After being involved in an awful accident where I was lucky to walk away, the lack of consistent information and support was non existent. Despite paying for a courtesy car on my policy I wasn’t given one and had to pay for a hire car, I was told different things on the telephone. And one of the worst things was their approved car repairer wouldn’t do the work, they came out with a string of excuses and told me to go elsewhere, which Covea won’t believe despite this being on a recorded telephone call. Covea have upheld part of my complaint which was around rude and disrespectful customer service advisors and that I was given conflicting information that affected my decisions. Avoid the company! Also beware that brokers such as the AA use them so check who your insurance is actually with.
