Went into my local Cowal to order a builders bag of pea gravel and land drain pipe. I was told that the pea gravel would be delivered 2 days later and staff would call me that day to let me know if they could order the land drain pipe. I did not receive a phone call so I called them and was told that they were still waiting on a response from the suppliers. 3days later my pea gravel hadn’t arrived so I went to the store to be told that the land drain pipe was unavailable but they could still order the pea gravel if I wanted. Absolutely atrocious service. Very annoyed because I could have ordered these items online but I was trying to support a local business who have been very good in the past. However, because of this experience I will not be coming back and will order from bigger suppliers online. Really disappointed.

A helpful team that discussed the products they had in stock giving me options, a price that beat the big shed places, delivery when they said they would, and a friendly delivery driver that offloaded the ton bags where I asked, rather than a dump and run... and it's a locally run business, helping keep the jobs and money in the area. Seriously, what's not to like?

Ive used these guys alot recently & relied on many bulk deliveries dropped outside the house with no space to spare. John the crane driver can land a bulk bag on a pin head. Good service, deliveries arrive when expected.

Despite the challenging access along our road, John expertly unloaded the material exactly where we needed it with bags split as a massive help for the raking job to come.

Personable and rapid service, got a good price and swapped a couple of terrible Dad jokes while we were at it.

John Watson came to deliver stones to our cottage in Kames PA 21 a rural off road property.
He was driving a 20 ton lorry and when he saw the access path was doubtful if he could achieve the drop off. As was I!!!
After considering the situation he maneovered the lorry reversing and frankly managed the impossible.
He was courteous and very helpful.
