I purchased a used motorcycle with Craigs Honda 7 months ago. When I did so the advert specified that the bike came serviced and complete with 2 keys, and 12 months MOT if the bike was over 3 years old (which it was).

When I received the motorcycle I only got the one key. I questioned the salesman I had been dealing with about this to be told that their adverts automatically said that the bikes come with 2 keys even if this is not the case. He then said that a new key would only cost around £10 to get cut. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I mean it's obviously false advertising and I should have been offered compensation for the lack of second key right then and there, but I didn't kick up a fuss.

The spare key cost me around £25 to get cut.

I also questioned him on the lack of current MOT certificate, which was shrugged off and again I was told essentially to sort it myself and that the certificate was available online. Again I thought nothing of it until I recently discovered the bike had only been MOT'd until March (a good 4 months shy of what I was promised).

I could maybe write one mistruth in their ad as an unfortunate error, but two lies in my opinion constitutes deliberately trying to mislead people.The bike had also clearly not been well serviced, the headlight bulb was the wrong wattage and exploded as I started to drive it around, the brake fluid was low, and the bike did and still does run lean on a cold start.

They are now ignoring my emails, so I just wish to warn others who might be considering buying a motorcycle from these guys not to trust their adverts.

Straightforward honest discussions, sensible price for low mileage bike in good condition, good communication and delivered to my door for a reasonable charge...everything a dealer should be!

Went to view the bike , keith had it out before i arrived, so i could have a good look round it, he was helpfull and made a sale. When i arrived to collect it, he showed me round it shook my hand and i rode away.

i bought a Yamaha mt09 tracer , the bike was delivered in top condition as per description with all paperwork and keys , I would class myself as a very picky biker, but I was very happy with the service and the delivery man was great calling me in advance to let me know he was on the way.. many thanks to all the guys at Craigs Honda.
