From start to finish the staff were amazing, choosing my carpet was made so easy & the carpet fitters were fast & efficient. Excellent customer service all round & would highly recommend them

Got a price to include underlay and fitting from a local company in caterick 2 to 3 weeks wait,measured up and price accepted on the spot 4days start to finish.£340 cheeper first class service and fitting 6.2 2026

Love my new carpet lads did such a good job, and price was great!

Overall, I was very happy with CPC — they were efficient, reasonably priced, and straightforward, which is why I’ve given four stars. The fitter arrived on time and did an excellent job. However, a couple of things about the company didn’t sit quite right. I paid in cash and wasn’t given a receipt, I’ve tried calling customer service at least three times without getting through, and they insist on full payment upfront unless you pay cash on the day of fitting. These are just my own observations and things to look out for when dealing with CPC. Overall, for me, a good experience.

Firstly it was an excellent job. Amanda kept on top of the payment issues with the veterans charity that were paying and kept me updated at every opportunity.

Fitting was done to an excellent standard by Ben and Dale, who also had the additional task of moving the furniture and me around all of the time. I'm disabled and they also helped when I had to be moved around the room for their work. Plus they put my furniture back in it's original place when they were finished. They went way above and beyond their tasks and responsibilities. They all were brilliant. I could recommend them all and Crazy Carpets to anyone. Thank you all so much.

Excellent customer service , nothing is a bother always at the end of the line if you need them with a cheery, helpful attitude.
Will definitely use them again . Full marks from me .

The company kept in touch making sure i was ok to go ahead as i had booked for laminate flooring months in advance. The fitters called the day before to let me know what time they would be arriving and what 2 lovely guys they were, cleaning up as they went and they took all the rubish away i will be using this company again in the future

So happy with my carpets had two big bedrooms and staircase carpeted a nice gentleman came out took measurements gave me a price lovely girl rang day after with dates for for fitting i got to choose what date was best for me communication was fantastic through out lads came to fit very respectful to myself & my home will definitely be recommending to others

So much went wrong so I'll keep short.

Ordered carpets for 2 bedrooms, both the same carpet. Paid the deposit and it was all booked in, a week before delivery and fitting we paid the full amount - no invoices given and no confirmation emails . The day of the carpets were coming we waited in and heard nothing, we called at 3pm and we were told that the van had broke down and they won't be fitting today.

We rearranged for the following week, the fitter turned up with the carpets rolled up no protective plastic and folded over on it self and the bottom of the carpets were filthy! He went ahead and fitted one carpet fine although he didn't use a carpet kicker which was odd. He said he couldn't fit the second carpet in my daughters room as it was cut too short, so he put underlay down with carpet grips and left. This in itself is unacceptable as it's dangerous to be left in that state in a kids room.

We called repeatedly to rearrange for the second carpet to be fitted but couldn't get through, finally someone called us and booked us in the following week. That week came and we heard nothing and nobody turned up so we called and they said the fitter was ill and unable to come, AGAIN they rearranged the fitting for the following week - the week before Christmas. AGAIN they didn't arrive and we couldn't get through to them, all calls going to a full voicemail.

All of this happened in 4 weeks, and nothing was sorted after that due to their office being closed until the 5th Jan. Once their office opened we called repeatable and they kept forwarding us to different people for a refund, nothing was ever sorted and they were unwilling to fix things or refund us so we went through our bank for a refund.

We got half of our money back from the bank. I found this experience very stressful and I now get the impression that the carpet we received was an old off-cut due to the state it arrived and it didn't smell new.

Avoid at all costs, we found the same carpet online for cheaper and hired a fitter.

I arranged a home visit which was fine came out and measured showed carpet samples I paid a deposit and I got my carpet fitted on 2 separate days which made it easier for me with having to move furniture about

Came and fitted the first set of carpets no issue. Supposed to come Monday to finish the job and this is where it all went pete tong. Monday came no call to say when they where going to turn up. Multiple and I mean multiple calls to the office , eventually some one answered. Sorry the fitter had to go home for a family emergency , no problem , bit awkward as all rooms emptied no beds etc and the upstairs a pig sty , these things happen. We will come first thing in the morning and finish the job. Ok better than nothing , the following day , well no call again to confirm when they will be arriving , so again multiple calls to the office. Eventually get through and they took my number for a call back to confirm when the fitter will get here , this is 1030. 3 hours past and no call. So again multiple calls to get through and they have spoken to the wife , they will be here in the next 30 minutes. Great finally getting it done and dusted. They arrive first room done great , second room done , great , however upon inspection after they left , I work from home so didnt do after they had finished , they had fitted the wrong carpet in one of the rooms. We ordered the same carpets throughout , so how can they get that so wrong. Will see what they come back with tomorrow after my wife messaged and left a few tasty voicemails.

Extremely poor service from start to finish. The company demanded full payment upfront, which should have been a warning sign. They then failed to turn up on the scheduled fitting date with no notice or explanation.

Trying to contact them was impossible — their phone goes straight to voicemail which is full, and emails are completely ignored. I never received any order confirmation or paperwork, so there was no clarity about what was even agreed.

When they eventually did turn up, the situation somehow got worse as they fitted the wrong carpet. At that point, getting hold of anyone to resolve the issue was, again, impossible.

Unreliable, unprofessional, and very stressful to deal with. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company

Absolutely not impressed with rhos service
Turned up without the full order and so couldn't complete on the day.

Week later turned up with the rest of order but no door bars so 2 weeks later my £2600 order is still not complete

Fitters left Stanley knife blades all over the house empty cans or spray glue thrown on the floor empty monster drink cans left ....

Actually disgusted

Been well bumped off this cowboy company didn't fit my carpet properly and have offered no refund or anything never ring back when they say they will best avoid this company.

Mainly possative but couple complains
Cut in living room vinyl
Short of metal bar floor,bit sticking up wear cut short
Bit beside door miss cut so he patched it up
£650 for this and not professional job so dissapointed

Fitters come today 2 lads, couldn’t fault them at all. What a pair of cracking lads and fitters, the join in my Lino u can’t even see it, they did my hallway, and my open plan living room and kitchen, and I wouldn’t have anyone else, complex lino to match but the lads made it perfect, professional throughout and my dog toffee even loved them both…helped with lifting furniture as well and like say top lads who I would 1000% recommend to anyone.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great communication regarding fitting date/ time etc. The fitter did an excellent job and I love my new carpet. Thank you

Salesman was very helpful and no pressure sales the the two lads that came to fit carpet were great everything went better than I thought it would

0 stars is what this company deserves. Where do I start? I am so sad, frustrated, and disappointed. I renovated a recently purchased 3-bedroom house and made the fatal mistake of trying to save money by going with this company. The underlay feels very thin and flat, and you can almost feel the floorboards beneath. The carpet itself is Velcro-like, so when you walk around in socks, you have to yank your feet off the carpet. I am so sad. This was meant to be my sanctuary home—I have given careful thought to every piece of furniture, obviously excluding this one.
