Great place to relax with the little ones

Went for the scarlet and violet pre release tournament. Staff were super friendly (as always!) and organised the event so it ran really smoothly. Great atmosphere throughout the event and had a fun time

Great place to meet people and play Pokémon TCG amongst other things. Friendly and attentive staff, great menu and a varied timetable of different games to play. Would recommend highly.

pathetic staff never replay to emails or messages over orders not being filled they will take your money then cancel your order and act like nothing happed (read every other bad review on here) checked there facebook,they bad mouth you for leaving bad reviews and beg people to put good reviews to boost there stars seem the staff don't care about bad reviews or wish to understand why they got the review in the first place they much more enjoy getting others to make rude comments and fake reviews i would tell you to avoid ordering from them or going into there store i dislike having to make this review but if the staff can't be mature to help or replay to people making the bad reviews or asking about there orders and then get mad over bad reviews it say's alot about this store.

When you’re in Liverpool you are now blessed to have a variety of stores available to you but irregardless of this variety only one store remains to be the institution of the Liverpool gaming community, Critical Hit. Helpful friendly staff, excellent facilities and fantastic food you couldn’t possibly ask for more a must visit if you’re new to Liverpool, and a place you can call home if you’re a regular to the city.

Have been visiting Crit for 4 and a half years, nice environment and friendly staff throughout. Recent improvements have made it an excellent store with a far greater stock available and my online orders through lockdown were spot on. Decent grub brought with a smile. Essential for card gamers, wargamers and RPG players.

been there a few times now for the nintendo Liverpool events. the venue is a really neat little space, the staff are super chill and the food is really good value for money. they also do every energy drink imaginable so that's always a selling point for me. 10/10

Excellent gaming store. Unlike others in Liverpool there’s always a friendly atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and they serve a decent variety of food. Store stocks Games Workshop, Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon cards, the works. Definitely recommend.

The place is amazing apart from the time I got beaten at YuGiOh by a ten year old who said Blue Eyes decks are for 6 year olds.

Scammers avoid ordering online

Been twice, travelling over 3 hours time my home town of Liverpool, and both times the events have been nothing short of fantastic (even when my results have been far short of that).

Best of all, even when I've scrubbed out, all the people there have been really friendly. They have a solid range of bits to buy too which is nice for the compulsive spender in me. But to top it all off, the food is insanely good. I watched a man eat 4 of their burgers (not small ones I might add) in less than 2 hours - one of those was one for a friend but he couldn't resist and tucked in instead of "minding" it for him.
