The website was very easy to use. Placing my order took just a couple of minutes. However, additional offerings (fees) were annoying. I declined two, but somehow they slipped one in: a $1.95 fee to co... See more

Easy to request picture options, quantity and loading my photo via phone.
I had three portraits done of our three dogs to give to my kids for Christmas. I ordered by the deadline for a Christmas delivery. I just received the portraits on January 29th. The process was extremely slow and frustrating. Each revision would take a week. There is no way to talk to anyone by phone. Emails would get generic, computer-generated sounding responses. The end results are fine, although the last revisions I requested, which were correcting small imperfections on the canvas, were not done on what I received (although they had sent me the image by email of the corrections.) If you have a couple of months to spare, don't mind corresponding to a computer in an unknown location, and luck out by liking the first image sent to you, then you may be satisfied with Crown and Paw. However, also worth noting, they never posted my 2 star reviews on their website. They only put up 5 star reviews with one, and only one, review that gave them less which is from August.
I have ordered three times from crown and paw and every single time they just keep getting better. Thank you for allowing us to keep the memories over beloved pets. It truly means a lot. Thank you.
Ordering the little blanket was fine and easy. Checking out was a bit of a problem. When you said you would pay with PayPal, it directed me to choose which car, and I did, then it would not check out. Evidently, you really had to fill out the address, etc. in order to actually activate PayPal. A bit frustrating but other than that, everything was fine. Can’t wait to see the proof! Pam
Easy to order. Ordered a print for a friend and I loved the quality of ŵork.
Easy to upload pictures and find the theme I wanted. Website is easy to navigate. Good work.
Unfortunately, this company has gone sharply downhill. I ordered two items in November that were to be the “big” Christmas gift for my son. I had not heard anything a week before Christmas, so I reached out to Kritz, their customer service rep. He replied quickly, saying the order had been “lost” on the front end, but he could see it on the back end and planned to get it started. I had no idea what that meant or why they had not been in touch with ME, but I responded with a big thank you and expressed the urgency of it being a gift. I heard back a week later that my photo wouldn’t work. I sent a new photo and did not hear back until January 9th saying it was ready to review. I said it looked good, and did not receive it until Januray 16th. However, it was only one of the two items I had ordered. When I reached out again, I expressed that I had been a loyal customer for four previous orders and however ridiculous this order had been, I intended to let them make it right. Kritz said yes, they owed me one more item (absolutely no acknowledgement of their error and zero apology), but that I had not ordered the canvas as I had believed, just poster, and that they would need to invoice me $15 in order to send it. I told them that I did not think that was right after all their missteps, but that Kritz should do what he thought was right. He invoiced me. And at that request, they had lost a customer and I requested a refund. Kritz responded that I should “be safe always!” I have no idea if I will even get the partial refund. I cannot stress enough that there are plenty of companies out there–do not waste your time or money with this one. They do not care about their loyal customers and do not own their mistakes.
I paid for 2 shirts about 1.5 months ago, and have yet to receive them. I got the artwork proof, approved it, and the online tracker said I should have received them 2 weeks ago but they still haven’t been shipped.
I sent 4 emails to Crown and Paw support, none of which have been answered. I’ve confirmed I’ve sent to the right email. I’ve filled out their form on their page - nothing!
I placed my order on Nov 24, 2023 hoping to receive my order by January 3 2024 right in time for my dad's birthday. I feel like I allowed enough time to account for the holidays and any edits (if needed). When the order was placed I was given the delivery quote time DECEMBER 3RD. My initial thought was wow that's fast but perfect! Here is it January 8th 2024. I'm sure you can guess but I not received my order. There website says they don't have a phone number and the only way to contact them is through email and they will get in touchwithin 24-48hrs. I have sent 2 emails this far a week or 2 apart from each other and have not gotten any response. Again, I understand December is a big month for business due to the holidays however an accurate quote time, and some correspondence would be nice. At this point I have no idea if I'll even be getting the order. I'm leaving this review here so hopefully others see this before making their decision if they have a specific date they need their gift by.
The amount of back and forth I've had over a seemingly simple transaction for one dog portrait is absurd. There must be 20 emails. The system was constantly glitchy and I still do not have my product (which I ordered pre-Christmas). I will not be using this company after this order is complete.
The first pass had clear mistakes, and the second pass didn't address the revision requests. The third pass remained identical to the second revision. The issues persisted until the fourth pass when I submitted my own Photoshop version to illustrate what needed to be addressed. The back-and-forth process caused a delay in approval, close to two weeks.
The end product is something I'm happy with but it took some hand holding.
It was so easy to order the gift card and it was sent to me very fast!
This is my second order from your company! Love the product, of course we love our pet! Beautifully done and service is fast and very well packaged! Highly recommend!!!! We have a bathroom photo and now purchasing a crown of roses for the bedroom.
Will never order from this company again! This has taken at least 11 emails. No phone number, and after this gift that was supposed to arrive by XMAS, it will get there mid January. And then it wouldn’t put the order through until I put a tip!!!
I ordered from Crown & Paw after it was featured in the New York Times gift guide. While the experience of placing my order went smoothly, and I loved the artwork that the artist put together, the timelines that Crown & Paw provides are wildly off base. I placed an order one month ago, and just today received the first of the two items I ordered. When I login on the website, I still don't have any estimate for when the second item will be printed & shipped. While I'm happy with my first item, I would advise anyone ordering from C&P to order at least 2-3 months before the item is needed.
I ordered a sweatshirt with pet embroidered on November 30th, it’s December 28th and nothing. I understand they’re custom orders and it’s holiday season but a whole month to complete one item? It’s ridiculous, they’ve been contacted three times and only the replied the first time. They don’t even have a number to reach them only by email. This was my first and last time placing an order with them.
Grossly underestimated the amount of time it would take them to generate art and print the item. Even with being charged for the 24h art turnaround option, the art took more than a week, and 3 more days for a simple change (I asked the line drawing be changed from white to black, as simple as pressing Option-I in photoshop).
I can't judge the final product as it's STILL 'queued for printing' but I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait. I'm not saying don't order from Crown & Paw, just be aware that it's going to take a LOT longer than they promise.
After 3 great experiences with Crown & Paw we had no hesitation in placing another order. Unfortunately this experience has not been good. The item appears to be delayed in shipping, we've had no update for 12 days. The shipper has advised that Crown & Paw must progress this as the sender, rather than us as the recipient. Unfortunately Crown & Paw seem to have no interest in doing so, despite advice of UPS and indeed their own shipping guidance. Looks like a disappointment for Christmas.
[Update 22/12] still no delivery and Crown & Paw still refuse to engage the shipping company. We had to submit a chargeback
Paid for express production time and delivery and is taking way longer
