Just had my front door done,
Would recommend CR SMITH,
Very friendly, no online AI nonsense, you deal with real people who make sure you are happy with the service from start to finish.
As for the joiners, great lads, worked non stop til the job was done and were very tidy,
Just want to update my review.
The actual workmen are absolutely outstanding sociable, friendly, excellent at what they do.
However the people that give you the times and dates are an absolute joke.
4 appointments and 3 changes the only reason its not 4 out 4 is because I stood my ground,
I wasn't going to say anything about this, but today when the painter arrived, I jokingly said to him you're late he said Am I? I said yes you were meant to be here between 9 and 12,
He told his line said between 12 and 6.
I had actually called the office that morning to clarify the time.
The thing is when my door was getting fitted, the office staff had the absolute cheek, to come out and check up on the amazing guys doing the actual graft.
Who the hell is checking on the pen pushing muppets???

The staff at C R Smith are very knowledgeable and professional, from Sales and Fitting to Customer Service. I am very happy with the style and quality of my new door, a Manager called after fitting to check everything was good. I will be buying windows at a later date.

Installation was fast and efficient though the date for the installation kept changing and the entire purchase stretched on for an excessive time.
When the workers left I looked at my new and very expensive door and didn't like it. Within a few hours I had drilled six holes in it to fit the doorbell and to get rid of that piece of plastic crap which was the door knocker supplied. It's solid enough and well installed but I feel that I could have done as well and saved five hundred pounds.

Really pleased with the service from start to finish. The new front door has been fitted to a really high standard, and the whole process was smooth and professional. The team were friendly, efficient and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. The door looks fantastic and has made a great difference to the front of the house. Would definitely recommend their service.

Had an issue with one of our windows which were installed recently, reported the fault and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Many thanks to everyone and special mention to Brian who did a great job carrying out the repair.

I am so pleased that at last I have a properly fitted front door. I can't stress enough how happy I was with the fitters who were excellent. The quality of the door is exceptional.

At survey stage listened to my requirements. Information was accurately communicated to the installation team. Arrived early on day of installation however waited in van until the agreed time before knocking. Installation team were courteous and polite, checking power source for equipment/tools rather than assuming. They were methodical, quietly getting on with the work (covered the floor/carpet so not tracking dust or dirt into the rooms from elsewhere). They confirmed the requirements I had and made the requisite adjustments.
At conclusion hoovered areas before asking me to view the work, explained the operation of the windows and vents, before asking for confirmation that the work was completed satisfactory.
Explained the next step and confirmed the date painter would attend to complete the work. Tidied up outside before leaving.
Very professional work ethics demonstrated throughout the installation process.

CR Smith were out today to fit our new doors. Wayne and Matthew were great - very helpful, good chat and did a great job tidying up after they finished installing the doors. We are very happy with the quality of the work and experience hiring CR Smith.

Excellent service from CR Smith. Wayne and Mathew were the installers who did a great job installing my new windows. Courteous and efficient, they tidied up at the end of the day leaving no trace they had been there. I have no hesitation recommending CR Smith and their team of installers.

Recently had the glass replaced in several windows, the whole process was simple and the work completed by Wayne and Conor was excellent.

Superb service.
No fuss.
Fitters good natured and friendly.
Worked hard, including vacuuming before they left.

After a couple of previous dodgy window adjustments and bodge jobs, a neighbour recommended CR Smith's "FIX" arm to replace the gearing system on the worst of our windows.

Jason came out and surveyed our windows and advised us that they would be able to sort something out for us. We then got booked in for the works and Tosh and Dane came out to complete the job the following week.

The guys were easy to chat to, cleaned up after themselves, and the replacement has been holding up well so far.

Thanks to all of the staff involved with this bit of work. Because of how smooth this went, I can see us reaching out again in the future for work on the rest of our windows.

The installers, Keiren and Bailey, turned up promptly on Tuesday morning and did an excellent job of fitting a new front door and finishing the surrounding area as requested. There was no mess and everything was left tidy.

Disappointed to say the least.
Joiners were fab, windows are great but significant difficulties getting a plasterer and painter to come to finish the job.
No communication, failed appointments and several lengthy phone calls to the company to get things resolved.
Today I’m told I have to wait another week for a plasterer and joiner to come … I’m sitting here for 2 weeks now with unfinished work , no blinds or curtains can be installed.
Really very annoyed.
Update - Graham a manager visited today to listen to my complaints in person and to explain why the problems may have occurred. He assured me that he has spoken with his staff and offered sincere apologies. He is very sorry and stated this is not what is expected from CR Smith.

All the CR Smith staff were fully experienced and competent in their work.…no request was too much.
Alan Burke the Salesman was open and very knowledgeable in helping us choose the right product for us.
Willy the Surveyor was extremely diligent and rightly proud of his experience.
Thomas O’Connor the Senior Project Manager was always available and approachable…a really nice guy.
The two window and door fitters Alex and Ray were very professional, well versed in their work and cleaned up daily after finishing their shift.
Gordon the Plasterer and Graeme and Craig the Painters were precise and clean…no mess.
Brian the Technician came to fix a couple of wee snags…spot on and completed as requested.
All in all the whole CR Smith team were competent, friendly, caused us no fuss and were very trustworthy.
A pleasure to have in our home….a quality installation well done…many thanks to all…

Tam and Drew Cooper were very well organised, friendly and worked great together as a brotherly team. They kept the place clean and tidy thoughout. I also received a couple of calls from there office to make sure everything was running smoothly and if I had any questions. The new windows and surround looks fantastic, I couldn't be happier. I also had a visit from there manager Aussie Ray who was a polite and charming guy who inspected the work and signed completion (with a couple of wee jobs to finish at a later date) thanks guys.

We had Kieran and Bailey install out new front door. Punctual, friendly guys. Great communication, hard working. Left the place clean and tidy. Covered the necessary after care, gave us contact details if there were any issues.
