I've been with Crunch nearly 3 years now and nearly left twice. However, there seems to have been a bit of a turnaround lately with a more personal service. I can jump on a screenshare with my account... See more

Great app. Great support. Great value for money.
I am relatively new to having to keep accounts. Before joining crunch I was with a local reputable accountants and used QuikBooks. Crunch has been better on every front so far, and cost a lot less. Narendra has supported me on multiple occasions, and I know that is if encounter any issues or have any questions, he’s only a phone call away. Outstanding service!!

I asked Crunch to place my account on dormant status and sent all required info. Over four months later, they kept charging the full Pro fee while suspending my account for “non-payment,” which also blocked me from making any changes or canceling. Each follow-up triggered more pointless “confirmations” to keep my account Pro—the exact opposite of what I requested.

I've been using Crunch for years, ever since I first opened my company, and they've been consistently good. Great customer service and the improvements to the UI have made bank reconciliation so much easier.
Recently Thea has been absolutely amazing helping me get my accounts in order. Crunch do often go the extra mile.

Edit: after writing this review, they reached out and helped me sorting this out, so I averaged (1+5)/2 =3 star review
I pay Crunch £2,000 each year, yet I’m constantly chasing them for something: this time it’s my corporation tax return; something I originally requested back in March. It’s now August, and nothing has been submitted or even drafted.
The issue? Eight transactions are duplicating income on my Crunch dashboard. I’ve repeatedly explained that these 8 payments in my USD bank account were already reconciled correctly (by Crunch themselves, had to pay extra £279.60 for it, too), but no one seems capable of removing them.
I keep getting passed around or ignored, with weeks going by between vague email responses.
It started with Danielle Chrysanthou, who had redirected me to Hayley Harris, who then referred me to Joss Horne, who himself couldn’t help and passed me onto Morsal Baboukarkhel: and big shocker, Morsal is also unable to help…
Every time I follow up, it’s like starting from scratch. I’ve sent screenshots, explanations, everything. Still no resolution. The support process feels like a black hole of canned responses and internal handoffs.
To make things worse, Crunch has made it clear in the past that they won’t file unless my Direct Debit is active, so I’m effectively paying for ZERO progress. (Currently down £1,063 in total as of 2025, without any progress or resolution).
If you’re considering Crunch for accounting services: don’t. You’ll waste time, money, mental health, and end up chasing basic tasks you paid for months ago.

Glenn Cobb assisted me as I moved my company into Dormancy and answered my many questions on my Self Assessment POA future predictions. He was very responsive and patient with me so a big thank you!

Amazing response time and very fast turnaround by my account Narendra Kulkarni in order to meet the deadline and avoid any penalties on VAT. Highly recommended :)

I didn’t contract for very long but I can highly recommend Crunch for anyone setting up a company when it all seems so complicated. The best thing was having a named contact who was always helpful. They will deal with HMRC for you and run your payroll (it is likely you will be an employee of your company). The website is full of advice but you can always e-mail if need help.

Very useful service. Glenn (accountant) and Amy are very communicative and clear with their help and advice. The software is very intuitive, and makes keeping track of expenses and invoices very easy. Would highly recommend.

I called Crunch to get some support on reconciling my accounts. Thea Burdis helped me patiently through every transaction until we were able to balance my account. I am so grateful because I wouldn't be able to do it without her. She was so knowledgeable and most of all, patient

Glenn Cobb is an excellent Senior Advisor who helped me make some strategic decisions about my small business. He presented a detailed analysis of the financial options before me – prior to our call I was in the dark about quite a few things, but now, I can see the best road ahead. Thank you so much, and I'll be recommending you in the future!

I have been with them for a year, and many things have gone wrong during that time.
I have been moved between departments multiple times, rarely spoke to the same accountant twice, and had to do everything myself—researching tax efficiency, categorising expenses, salaries, dividends, etc.
At the end of the tax year, I also had to pay a fee because I moved expenses into the wrong category within their system, despite being assured that I wouldn't need to worry. They said someone would check that everything was in order and correctly filed before submission... yes, I filed expenses under 'staff welfare' instead of 'staff benefits,' but I am not an accountant and am not skilled at it, which is why I believed they would handle it correctly, as they repeatedly assured me during conversations.
Instead of saving money, I’ve spent quite a bit on something I could have done myself with similar success. So, if you’re like me and naively think they’re there to make your life easier, be helpful, and ensure tax efficiency, I honestly recommend going elsewhere. It's a frustrating process and a significant waste of money.
I am very disappointed that they refuse to see that it should have been their job to do a final check. What would I need them for if not to make sure my account is in order? It’s very unfortunate. Clearly, this was an internal mistake. I genuinely believed that having an accountant would be worthwhile. I can't believe how wrong I was. They made this year unnecessarily difficult by bouncing me around and failing to explain things properly. I am eager to learn and would have loved to understand my taxes better, but that felt impossible. An expensive lesson I had to learn.
Needless to say, Crunch and I have parted ways at this point.
UPDATE: Happy to talk if that means that the company is taking responsibility for making false promises to take care of the health of the account of their clients - as promised

Great annual review, with a helpful team member sorting out numerous issues quickly and courteously.

Working with Crunch has been easy. If I have an issue, I email support and will get detailed responses. They take me through things step by step which I need. They make my accounts a lot less scary to sort and deal with. Thanks to Glenn Cobb and Drey Szabo who are often the ones to come to my aid. One frustration is that it's hard to speak directly to them, and sometimes this is needed.

Smooth and stress-free remortgage 🙌
Remortgaging with Crunch Mortgages was hands down the smoothest experience we’ve ever had. From the first conversation to completion, the service was professional and very efficient. What really stood out was how stress-free the whole process felt!
They were honest from day one, the advice was clear and exceptional, and the service was fast. We never had to chase for updates, and the team were genuinely lovely to work with. Couldn’t recommend them more. We've finally found honest mortgage advice for life with Crunch Mortgages!

Mr. Joss Horne ,, have been helping me out and is incredible patient, and for those who are getting started on the system and needs a bit more attention while learning, I would recommend.
Can not complain.
Give Mr Joss Horne 5 star or even more perhaps, 100 stars.
I hope all can prosper in there actions, and to know about good people with you on the other end of the line , like minded souls, is comfortable to know.

I recently helped my wife to complete her tax return and we were both pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to do this using the Crunch platform. The form we needed to complete was clear and there was helpful information were we needed it. Once submitted, it was received fairly quickly and the tax return sent to us for approval. All in all a great experience.

This company. What a mess. They just get worse and worse. Mistake after mistake and don't even apologise. Asked for advice on end of year headroom for pension contributions and they totally misadvised, resulting in my company reported a p&l loss for the year. Rudimentary advisory services are beyond them. After totally screwing up earlier this year their only 'solution' was to suggest I upgrade from pro to their premium service. What a joke. Apparently the pro service is now only intended as a self-service solution, so if you might need any advice just forget it. By the way, the premium service is no better.

Sean Vaghela - thanks! Much appreciated for your help in a somewhat complicated accountancy request!
