There are 20 people in line waiting for vitals at the Evansville location. Only two or three of all the workers are efficient. This place has awful customer service. I don't recommend coming here.

They don’t behave professionally.

I fractured two toes at work, but I didn’t need either surgery nor medication (painkillers, etc), so I didn’t donate for 7 weeks, after 7 weeks I’m still was wearing a boot, but I’m feeling great. I did the questionnaire and I specified that I was feeling healthy and was not taking medication. After I went through the registration process I went straight in line waiting for my turn to donate. I was almost done with my donation when some of the workers came to say hi and asked me what happened to my foot, these person and everyone else did not acknowledged me or greeted me when I first came it, anyway I explained what happened and after I was finished donating the told me right there on the floor that I shouldn’t have donated because of my foot. But I CSL had at the moment closed to 15 people on the floor including management staff and no one noticed me?!!! So then I’m the one responsible for them not don’t their job properly and all the do chitchat, swear, talk load and all kind of nonsense, while we’re there waiting for 2 hours, 2 1/2 hours or more… really?… A nurse told me to go see her and she wanted to take my boot off and at that point it’s been already three and a half hours of my being there and I need to go, and she stated to tell me that what I did was wrong, again, I was speechless cause how can they blame it on me? When I came back a a few weeks later another nurse and this time the manager gave me the same speech, I was not happy at all because the staff should be aware of if someone is wear a orthopedic boot, they should ask the person beforehand what happened. I think I ashamed the manager and nurse so much the banned me from CSL system telling me they were going lunch and investigation regarding my situation, but they didn’t wanted to take my medical information, my doctor’s name and number for them to verify everything I had told them. Bottom line they not letting donate stating they still investigating, the truth is they’re ashamed because I called them out. I mean, I’ve been donating at this place even before they got hired there, and I had donated at the CSL plasma in Blue Heron, Riviera Beach, FL. I just wish to go back and donate in Riviera Beach, never again will I donate in Greenacres even though is closer to me.

Bonuses for referrals not paid

They will not pay bonus money promised for referrals. The referral code disappeared from the app and they claim that YOU did not meet the obligation in the time frame quoted. They are just liars and scammers

CSL, LIES AND THREATENED ME

Csl

Friday (3/ 29/25) donated and half way through it wasn't returning. Tech tried to adjust the needle. Needle felt deep and my upper arm felt like it was swelling. The tech blow out my vein and was pumping the return under my skin.

I developed a very very large bruise measure 9X5(will add photo)

Monday (4/1/25) pm call CSL and explain the bruise and if I can donate with the bruise. I was told yes.. just use my other arm. (Sweet!) Not one word about 2 inches.

Tuesday (4/2/24) I go to CSL in national city. First thing I show my very large bruise. I am told to sit and a nurse will be with me. Nurse shows up and tells me if the bruise is more than 2 inch I can't donate. The problem is the person on the phone said I could donate. Tells me doctor will be in next day.

Gabe the manager on site tells me I am not allowed to donate. Despite the person the day before saying I could donate. Then Gabe tells me I shouldn’t rely on this as income.

I felt very angry and dismissed by his comments. I take care of my husband who has cancer and mother who is 80.. and yes I rely on donating plasma. Sadly $115 a week is a big deal to me and my family. Reality, CSL need donners for their income!

From what I have been told by staff, we get paid get $50 and $65 for donating 2 times a week. And CSL get $2000-$5000 per donation.

I called the call center for the second time. CSL NATIONAL CITY claims to of called me today, to apologize. ( another lie) No, Rob called this afternoon and wanted to document the bruise, which was documented the day before. Then he tells me I have to talk to him to be able to talk to the doctor. Guess what? No doctor called all day. Called back around 4ish and no doctor today. Tried to speak with manager and she (Sayat) hung up 3 times on me and wouldn't answer any questions. Also I was being black balled.. I was put on hold for over 10 mins. And I called with another phone number and they answer right away as I am still on hold…. Not sure what they are scared of, also CSL Facebook, they do not allow posts and no commenting either.

A honest company would be open and honest.

4/4/24 I called CSL to ask about the doctor. I was told the doctor would be there 4/5/24 at 10am

4/5/24 arrived are 11:20am to speak with the doctor. Front desk say the doctor is in.
Which I did see an older gentleman doctor looking. I believe was the doctor.

Out comes Gabe the manager and he says the doctor isn’t there. The lies, I do not know what to believe.

Tried to have a conversation with Gabe have a couple questions answered. I wanted to know why I was not told about the 2X2 rule. He refuse to answer the question. He told me about bruise and he is professional. Yes, I was frustrated! I ask 4 time same question… and then he asks me what is my question. Obviously Gabe wasn’t listening. He tells me to calm down and how he is professional. It get worst! GABE SLAMS HIS HAND ON THE DESK IN FRONT OF ME IN A VERY THREATENING MANNER. I walked out… I didn’t know what else he is capable of. He asked for me to come back… no way. I have never been threatened by a manger or have a manager of act in this way, I was afraid of him! He had this not nice look on his face and then SLAM! And I guess according to him “he is professional”. Most people wouldn’t have a job after treating a customer in this way. He basically wanted to speak over me and not listen. Which is why after 4 times asking the same question, he had to ask what was the question.

This is so ridiculous. This whole thing has been so blow out of portion. Of course by CSL. I was originally lied to and I just want them to make it right. I feel I should at least get my $50( more now after all this) went I CSL on Tuesday to donated based on CSL employee saying I could donate. So this is all over $50 from a company they get THOUSANDS from each doner.

I called the toll free number again and to update my report. And explain how the manager threatened me. They did not care. He told me I should have received an email.

I did call back. I just couldn’t believe this operator was so dismissive and didn’t care about a manager (GABE) and threatened me. Other operator documented.

No one from corporate has called still!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOT)

Seems as long as your an easy patient (donation) it's all good and once they mess up.. You get black ball and hung up on .... Shamefull Company!

Yes CSL I have called the number a few times.. and still no call back. So what am I suppose to do?

Re-train that transferred employee

I was bruised twice at this location but it will never compare to their new employees (currently in training) attitude, she needs to be fired for her attitude and disrespect towards other patients/customer!!! She’s lucky I wasn’t able to get her name, but we will never return to this location due to that experience! My husband and I have been coming to this location for almost a year now and when this inexperienced girl came in, she messed it up for us!!! I’m sure she will cause more conflict with other people… be cautious!

I waited for over 2 1/2 hours and no one even started with me. I was a first donor. I walked out cause I asked how much longer and the lady was very rude to me. Made me not want to go back and donate now.

Mobile

Mobile, AL location: The screeners at the front are the worst! The are not friendly and have an attitude every time I’ve been there. They are power tripping instead of making donors feel at ease. The mission statement on the wall states you have a welcoming environment. That is laughable!

Lack of professionalism and leadership, but seem to do really well at butchering healthy GREEN veins.

ATTENTION: IF YOU VALUE THE WAY YOUR ARMS LOOK WITHOUT SCARS AND DAMAGE FROM A LACK OF TRAINING AND ACCOUNTABILITY, THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU.
I have been going to the Philadelphia Mills location for about 2 years. I will not be returning to CSL as a whole. I was informed by the “Night Manager”, AUBREY, that CSL is not responsible for the damage they do to patients. It is ‘not their responsibility’ to ensure the patients get the PROPER treatment. Now, aside from having an aggressive “leader” with no leadership skills whatsoever, she does not even try to put on a customer service friendly face when addressing people. I’ve explained my complaints, which is in fact assault, and I was assured that CSL does not care about its donors. I would heavily advise NOT coming to this place, Bio Life Plasma at least has donor friendly staff, not some overly entitled “Night Manager”.
PS. You can CLEARLY tell these reviews are fake. There is CONSTANTLY some form of drama going on at this location and from my personal experience, its NOT from the donors.

Also, my veins where considered green. I wish I could post pictures.

Be careful on who you let stick you.

The ladies do the best they can considering they are over worked so be patient with them. I usually go in and have no problems but last time the lady stuck me not in my vein and moved it like crazy to try to get the blood out it hurt and left a nasty bruise so then I couldn’t donate my next time. It’s always busy and the wait is very long and the pay is crap, especially if it’s saving lives. But overall it’s not bad just remember they are under staffed and over worked so be nice! But I won’t be back unless they give me a deal $$

Don't trust a company when the manager doesn't do whats right!

Have been pretty happy with you all until today. When someone's been donating for years you should listen to them about the angle the needle needs to be at JOSH! Your bad adjustment got me 56 days deferral.
Seems more interested in hearing himself talk then doing the job. I probably won't donate again! My daughter went in the same day. Josh also did readjustment on her stick. Grabbing the back of the needle and sweeping it like a fan under her skin. Which caused a horrible bruise and then she got a large bubble of fluid under the skin. Her donation date was the 30th. She now can't return til the eighth. Josh needs to be retrained. She talked to the manager about it. He just told her that Josh won't be retrained and didn't really listen to anything else. You want people to come donate then treat the donor with some respect! This manager is crap!!!
