Very steep learning curve, but a top notch piece of software.
After a year or two getting to know the free version I've finally upgraded to Studio. DaVinci Resolve is like a city, however much time you spend exploring you'll never know it all. But what an amazing tool.

Having used the free version for more than four years, it was a no brainer to update to the paid Studio version, especially as it comes with the Speed Editor included in the price.

The free version is already a very powerful tool not just for color grading but for editing as well. I have been using a different software for years for my violin covers and wedding shoots but color grading is so much better with DaVinci Resolve. I got the studio version for the added features and with promotion, this comes with the speed editor keyboard. Can’t wait to do my next projects in here.
