CVP’s customer service is outstanding…
CVP’s customer service is outstanding and the delivery times are ultra fast. The flexibility with orders and how swiftly communications work makes them my favorite shop to get equipment from.
Be extremely wary of using CVP
Be extremely wary of using this company. Pay close attention to what reviewers are saying about trying to return products for whatever reason. I returned a mic that was completely unused and not even taken out of packaging. When I returned it to CVP I was told it was used and sent photographs of scratches on the mic. I know for certain it wasn't me who made those scratches and left me pondering how the mic had become so scratched. I was then told I had to pay a 25% re-stocking fee because the mic was now a used product. Eventually after several back and forth emails and an assurance from me that I would pursue them and take them to Small Claims Court, they agreed to refund it in full.

Don’t expect a refund for a faulty…
Don’t expect a refund for a faulty product… CVP considers it your problem. Their main priority is to sell.
I had always been very satisfied with CVP until I ran into a serious problem.
In January 2026, I purchased an Aputure C80 with accessories. Within just 2.5 months, the unit started malfunctioning — randomly changing colour, brightness, and modes during use. I provided CVP with a video as proof of the fault.
I contacted CVP to request a refund for the faulty product, but my request was refused. The only option I was offered was a repair, which I declined — I paid for a brand-new product, not a defective one.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product develops a fault within the first six months, it is presumed to have been faulty at the time of purchase. Customers are entitled to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.
CVP’s refusal to provide a refund directly contradicts these statutory consumer rights. I have already initiated a dispute through my bank and will provide updates as the case progresses.
A very disappointing experience.
New:
I can’t help but add: Notice how quickly they respond to a negative review. It only took them 24 minutes to reply. But when it came to my repair request and my attempt to resolve the issue, I had to wait 4–5 days for a response. In the near future, I will leave separate reviews for each item I received, noting any scratches and possible damage. I will also attach screenshots of CVP’s responses, stating that scratched plastic is considered normal. See you soo
