I paid a $1,200 deposit to Cyanergy Pty…

I paid a $1,200 deposit to Cyanergy Pty Ltd for the installation of an air conditioning system on 19 September 2025. At the time of signing the agreement, Rafiu was told that the installation would be completed within one month.
However, more than six months have passed, and the work has still not been carried out. When I tried to arrange partial payment or payment on the day of installation, the company still insisted on full prepayment for work that had not yet been completed.
I provided my bank details for the deposit refund. The company agreed to refund the deposit, but as of today, 24 March 2026, the money has not been returned, and my emails and phone calls have gone unanswered.
In my opinion, the company’s actions are fraudulent and violate consumer rights. I do not recommend using Cyanergy Pty Ltd until they improve their service and return money to clients.

Unable to get my deposit

I signed up with them, paid deposit, then they came back with another 3600 dollar bill for installation, hence I did not want to proceed as it was costing me more than 7000 dollars for split system with government grant. I still have not received my deposit back, many calls, text messages, emails with no reply or no one answering the phone. It has been around months, they are not returning my deposit with no reply. Worst possible customer service

No reply!!!

Installation of my air-conditioning was done incorrectly by the installer. Have been waiting over 3 weeks in the middle of summer for them to fix it. None will call me back despite multiple messages.

Solar and battery NSW

I’ve been waiting 8+ months for my solar and battery installation in NSW. Deposit paid, installation promised within 3 weeks, original date was 24 July 2025. As of January 2026, nothing has been installed.

Every delay comes down to the same excuse: “waiting for stock”. They clearly oversell during rebate periods and cannot deliver. There is never a confirmed installation date.

Customer service is extremely poor. You constantly have to chase them. Calls go unanswered, emails ignored, and every time you call you get a new person who promises to follow up — which never happens. Sales blames operations, operations blames stock. No one takes responsibility.

After months of delays, I finally got an install date — only for it to be cancelled last minute because contractors went on a long weekend holiday. I was told it was “bad luck”. No new date has been provided.

Even if the system is eventually installed, I have little confidence they will be responsive for future warranty or service claims.

Cheap prices are not worth this level of stress. If you value honesty and peace of mind, stay away.

I was contacted and a good pricDo not sign any paperworke was…

I was contacted and a good price was quoted. Then it all went wrong. We agreed to sign a letter to hold the price for 3 months, cancel at any time up to when we sign our quote. The 10 phone calls one after another confirming details, Watif became a pest and told, please, no more phone calls. 2 days later email confirming installation. I rang Watif and let him know,NO,NO,NO,NO, he finally agreed to cancel. I now have an email cancelling our instal plus we dont have to pay a cancellation fee. This company is offering cheap Chinese units which not many people have heard of in Solar Heat Pumps
