Cyprus Villa Retreats Reviews 

We stayed this last weeked at the Marina Villa in Coral Bay. The service we received was fantastic and the house was located only a 10 minute walk from restaurants and a 10 minute walk to beach (there was a new walk way (without stairs) down to the beach just around from the house). The house was very clean. We would defintely stay there again.

From start to finish everything went so smooth the villa was more than we expected very spacious rooms and beautiful outside grounds incorporating a fabulous pool and hot tub which we all made great use of during our stay the pool and hot tub was cleaned and treated by specialists who didn’t intrude on our stay, the added facilities of washing machine and dishwasher really helped and the pool table kept everyone entertained.
Around the pool there was more than enough seating and sun beds for everyone to relax and enjoy the stunning views this property affords from its hillside location which also gives you privacy to enjoy your stay.
There was everything inside the villa to make it a hugely enjoyable stay
I would highly recommend a stay here we were a family group including young infants,teenagers, and adults and we all had a fantastic relaxing holiday.

We stayed at Villa Ariana in May 2023. Cyprus Villa Retreats had an appalling attitude. In the meet and great it was like having a meeting with the Gestapo. They just read out a list of rules and regulations. Very unwelcoming. The villa advertised on the internet was not the villa we were led to believe it was. Some of the photos were real and others were not. Looking at other villas on the internet in the same plot, some of the photos were taken from much nicer villas. This is deliberately misleading. We would not have booked it if we had viewed the real photos. For some I believe they borrowed lamps, ornaments, cushions and throws as they were much nicer than the real ones. When we had problems with noisy neighbours their attitude was terrible. They told me that nobody else was complaining - there was nobody else in the other villas apart from the noisy ones - I went knocking to speak to the 'neighbours'. When they came round to listen for themselves, it was at the end of the day when the noise stopped and so they tried to make me believe it was a figment of my imagination. Their blurb about the villa maintained it was a 'quiet and peaceful' area. I don't think so

Villa was a good size for our party of four adults and two children. Great pool and outside area with plenty of shade if required. Pool maintenance was excellent and the CVR administration of all arrangements was also good.

A wonderful villa located in a very convenient location with supermarkets and local shops/restaurants within walking distance. The pre arrival comms was great and very detailed and we found the villa exactly as described. All basic amenities and much more was provided. A lovely outdoor space with pool, a fully equipped kitchen, great entertainment with board games and a TV with movies on demand as well as spacious bedrooms overlooking the ocean made for a lovely relaxing holiday. The support from the Cypress Villa Retreat team was only an email away and an induction with one of their team
Allowed us to ask any questions we had on the first day. Thank you CVR. This was nothing short of a 5 star villa and service. Definitely would love to stay here again and will recommend to friends and family. Very best wishes.

From the first contact to helping sort us out when our airline just decided to cancel our flights, I’ve been mightily impressed with CVR. The villa itself was ideal for the six of us (three adults, three kids aged 12, 10 and 8) with plenty of areas to escape from each other but also to socialise. We had a really helpful chat on the first morning with a representative to give us the full lowdown - will definitely be booking again with CVR.

Great selection of villas, well maintained and local team to sort any issues out quickly. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give no stars I would! We had the most awful dealing with villa retreats and would never book with them again!
We booked in July 23 to go to Villa Olivia in coral bay! Described by Villa Retreats as the grandest of their villas! If this is the case I would hate to see what the rest are like! We arrived later on it the day and we were greeted with Ants literally everywhere! We know that you expect to have them outside, we have on previous holidays, but not to this extent! Including beds and bathrooms! Absolutely everywhere! But I’m not surprised with how dirty the villa was! Grandest pile of rubbish would be more the description I would use! Dirty, In need of a complete renovation in the kitchen and downstairs sleeping area! Outside area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for the whole summer! Stairs into the pool unsafe and wobbly! This is just to name a few of the problems with our villa! We had no choice but to leave the villa! It’s was not habitable!
We were so surprised as the reviews online were mostly positive! And know we know why!
BRIBERY!!! In order for us to get any compensation Villa Retreats told us we would have to sign an indemnity form to agree to us, any friends, family or work colleagues leaving any negative reviews!
We refused their insult of an offer and have claimed money back via our credit card! We were lucky to have had that option!
In my opinion avoid this company!

We visited a villa in October 2023 as an extended family break. Three generations enjoyed all aspects of the amenities and activities based at the villa in addition to exploring nearby attractions.
The villa had everything we could wish for and the team responded quickly and efficiently to every minor query.
Whilst we rarely write reports, I would recommend this company and the accommodation and we are likely to re-visit at a later date.

We were really impressed with Cyprus Villa Retreats, their team is very quick to respond to any queries, before and during the stay. The villa was great, exactly as described and the best stocked villa I've stayed in, any issues we experienced were dealt with quickly and they have lovely team of maintenance people. The rep visited the day after arrival and gave great tips on the area. I would one hundred percent recommend them and will definitely book again. Best villa company I've used in Cyprus!

We stayed at villa Raphael for October half term 2023 through Cyprus villa retreats. The villa was perfect, great set up for children with everything we needed included. They are a very responsive company and sent someone straight away when we needed the pool to be warmer and a couple of issues fixed. They also gave us great advice on the best beaches and restaurants. We are already looking at coming back next year to stay at a villa through Cyprus villa retreats as we had such a good experience.

Amazing villa. Everything provided for a comfortable stay in Coral bay. Lovely outdoor pool. All amenities that you would ever need. We had such a lovely 10 days. Would definitely return.

We stayed in the gold standard Villa Cleopatra. The villa was enjoyed by all predominantly because of the outside area and location by the sea but we had a few issues with the villa overall. Firstly, the villa is very tired. There are chips of paint missing around the whole villa, the white leather sofa is not so white anymore and the villa feels dated. When we brought up the issues of wear and tear to the welcoming lady on the first day she said oh yes lots of wear and tear that’s just what happens. The pool also feels old, there are missing tiles throughout the pool and a green scum line running around the edge of the pool. The pool lights were not working correctly and despite the efforts of the maintenance people who were quick to respond they could not be fixed and so we felt that we had no alternative but to ask for the lights to be turned off - this was a pity.
It did not feel gold standard at all. The villa sleeps 10 adults , however there is not one seating arrangement in the whole villa that seats 10 people, we had to cram in 10 people on the outside table, not very comfortable. None of the outside furniture is as pictured on the website including the roof terrace which was sparsely furnished, it looks completely different from the photographs

The double bed in the master bedroom was missing a slat and led to very uncomfortable sleeping. In general, all the beds are old with thin mattresses and are not comfortable . Overall, the villa needs some attention and work to bring it to gold standard as advertised by CVR.

From the moment we booked, the customer service was excellent. We booked for 6 adults and 6 children. The villa we booked was stunning, and had ample space for everyone. The pool was perfect, and looked just like the photos! It even had a jacuzzi! There were ample sun beds and beach towels for everyone. There was also a shaded seating area in a grassed section of the villa with a BBQ we also made good use of.

The villa was surrounded by trees affording us full privacy, as well as being beautiful.

Our villa had three floors, and lovely views.

All bar one bedroom had an en suite, and the place was so large we never felt on top of each other.

When we had an issue with the hot tub, I emailed at around 10pm, and an engineer was with us at about 8am the following morning to fix the issue.

Our villa had ample parking inside the gates, had a pool table and a ping pong table which we've all enjoyed massively.

Cyprus is a beautiful country, and the villa matched that. I would not hesitate to use this company again when visiting Cyprus. They've done everything they can to make our holiday wonderful.

Villa Sarah was a great choice for our second trip to Cyprus as a family of 15, a mixture of adults and young children.

The facilities are great – the pool, playground, air con and kitchen set up etc all perfect for our needs. The rooms in the main house were lovely though the basement rooms aren’t quite as nice and felt a bit damp at times. There was a welcome pack, soap and loo roll, dishwasher tabs etc which was a nice touch.

Plenty of space for cars at the front and it’s easy to find if you follow the instructions they give you and not Google maps, its also signposted with CVR signs.

It’s very private though we still managed to get food delivered, it’s close to attractions like Paphos Zoo and nice places to eat and the company were kind enough to give us a late checkout which really made our last day a lot easier.

We had a great week and would return.

We booked with Cyprus Villa Retreats earlier this year not having booked with them before. What a wonderful find! The villa we chose was amazing. Close to the popular beach in Coral Bay (only a short 5 minute walk) we could enjoy the area and walk back to enjoy the the cool comforts of the villa swim and BBQ cat our leisure. The villa itself is amazing and Cyprus Villa Retreats could not do more to ensure our comfort for our stay. Certainly will come back again. Annie and family

We have had a fantastic time in our Villa. Cyprus Villa Retreats could not have been more helpful. They brought us a new hairdryer when the one at the villa didn’t work and even brought us a cork screw too. The air conditioning man and the pool man were also most helpful and friendly.
We would definitely book with these guys again. Thank you

Cyprus villa retreats continue to address a problem which occurred during our stay at the beginning of July. Responses to emails sent to them deflect the blame onto us even though the incident was out of our control. They have answers for everything. Once they have your money don’t expect any help with problems which occur during your stay.

Villa Retreats were excellent from start to finish, the only improvement area was you cannot pay by credit card online they had to send a separate link but it was still quick and efficient.
