Arrived in uk 8 November

Arrived in uk 8 November. Took a 2 day pcr test from Dante Labs and sent it off. After several emails to and from this company they were full of apologies and stated a full refund was offered which I accepted. To date today, I have still not received any test results Nor any refund! I am so disappointed with this company and will not be using them again!

UPDATE. STILL NO RESULTS BUT A FULL REFUND RECEIVED

Dante refunded for none receipt of tests

My wife and I used Dante in Sept and Oct, for return from holiday, 2 day antigen tests. The process was very straightforward and packs were waiting for us at home. We did everything we were supposed to do (ordering, registering and returning the tests etc) and assumed that in not hearing back, that all was fine. It was only after the 2nd order that we read Dante and sister company, were in the news. I politely emailed them and received 3/4 refund, within days. I later found just one of the 'negative' results, in my junk! They were fair with us, but played Russian Roulette with us, family and all around us.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. My tests arrived missing essential parts so I couldn't even do and had to use the nhs test and send it to them. They didn't respond to any emails, didn't send the correct test and then didn't provide me my results. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible, we got our results back almost 3 weeks after taking the test!! They are not contactable over the phone, they don’t respond to emails either. Their refund policy does not exist. I wanted to return two unused and unregistered tests, which I no longer needed and I have been waiting for their response since August (over 3 months now). Absolutely unacceptable!

If I could write a review with zero…

If I could write a review with zero stars I would. We fell for their advertised "results in 24 hour" advertising. We put the completed test in the Royal Mail Priority Post Box, at 10.00am on Sunday 21 November. Given the pick-up by Royal Mail wasn't until 6.00am on 22 November, with same day delivery, we expected some acknowledgement they'd received it. By the afternoon on 23 November we'd heard nothing. Urgent emails to their Customer Service followed and we got a reply at 11.30pm at night saying they were only now processing it. Weirdly they referred to the test as a "project"?! The flight was this morning. Luckily we had decided to abandon all trust in Dante Labs carrying out the test in time, and went to a private lab locally in person. Same price, no anxiety, results after half an hour. Thank God we did! Results from Dante Labs just arrived on 24 November after the flight had departed this morning. No response now from their Customer Care. Do NOT use Dante Labs!

Disappointed

Disappointed.
Not sure who was to blame but I posted my PCR fit to fly sample Sunday morning before 10am in a priority postbox. I had a Tuesday night flight to South Africa. Sample wasn't acknowledged at lab until Tuesday night, luckily I had a flexible ticket and was able to delay the flight. Result arrived the following day at about 11am. Quite a stressful ordeal. Will now avoid flights that necessitate testing at weekend, but also I will consider a different testing company or invest in a rapid test at airport to avoid the stress of it all.

Avoid! Worst test certifier I have come across

Instructions to take the test totally unclear. They should let people know to ignore all insteuctions that come in the box and just follow the app.

The app crashes in every step and you have to start all over again.

Terrible company AVOID!

Absolutely disgusted with this company

I read the other reviews too late and only discovered how dreadful this company is after ordering some lateral flow kits for when we returned from our holiday. The company failed to provide the reference numbers needed for the UK passenger locator form, and they provide no telephone number for getting in touch and didn't to reply to my emails. I cancelled my order and purchased the kits from elsewhere. I thought that would be the end of it but they later issued the reference numbers and even posted out the kits despite the fact that I issued another cancellation of my order. Now they are refusing to refund me. Its absolutely disgusting and I'm surprised that they are allowed to sell the covid kits given how many bad reviews they've had.

Dreadful company

Dreadful company, returned the fit to fly test, they say they haven't received it. Due to fly tomorrow and now ignoring email. They have said it is Royal Mails fault. Do not use this company, much better and reliable ones out there. This is a waste of time and money!!!

Don't use this company

Don't use this company, they are truly awful. We ordered two day 2 PCR kits and received one antigen test! When I finally managed to find a telephone number on FB and spoke to one of their staff, they said it was DPD fault and I would get the correct tests the next day. Of course, this didn't happen and I called them again. This time, the next day we received the two correct tests. On arrival back to the UK, we did our tests and sent them. My husband received confirmation of receipt the next day and the results the day after. Nothing for mine. I called the company and spoke to a guy who asked me the order number, I gave to him and he asked to hold on for a couple of minutes whilst he would go and check. I got cut off after 15mn of hold. I called again, spoke to a woman who asked for a different order number, put me on hold for 5mn as she didn't know either what had happened to my sample, asked me if the registration number was different from my husband's, which I responded that of course it would be, being two different tests! She then told me that her manager would look into it and email me back within a day. We'll see if they bother but will never use them again!!

The Test has not arrived

The Test has not arrived - Dante Lab service is useless and frankly dangerous, by not honoring their commitment they are putting lives at risk, of their customers potentially being infectious and transmitting a potentially fatal disease - I wouldn't use this service

Ordered to flow tests

Ordered to flow tests, received ok, waited for codes for the tests site, only received one, requested the other but no reply for 9 days (too late by then) and the reply given was of no use to the problem.
Requested refund from the company and an email address to contact in case of complaints. Still no reply after 11 more days.
Contacted my solicitors now to recover and outgoing costs and legal fees incured in the process.
Update:
Still nothing back from Dante labs at this time (26/11/2021)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Still awaiting my Day 2 PCR test from…

Still awaiting my Day 2 PCR test from 30th September. Although I have had a refund I was told it would still be processed. If you are looking for a refund tell them they have breached their terms of service which says you will get your results in 48 hours and report them to Trading Standards and the CRM.

Avoid!

Avoid! Partner’s Day2 PCR result still not received after over 3 weeks. Their email responses are generic and not case specific. IMHO the CMA should be taking a good look at what is going on here, if they aren’t already doing so.

The worst testing company I’ve ever…

The worst testing company I’ve ever use. We’ve spend so much money on this tests, they don’t answer emails, don’t care of customers. Sending late test result. Problem with registering. I couldn’t even find a phone number to contact them directly. I’m waiting already 3 day for test to release, I can’t start my work, because of them! Didn’t even get yet email that they received my swab. Don’t use them ! BAD BAD BAD!!!!!;(

I would give zero if I could

dante Labs never sent me my Day 8 result. I emailed and they quickly responded the first time saying my test was being processed (although I didn't get a message to say my sample had been received unlike my partner). As the results were not arriving I emailed again and since then they've ignored all the emails I sent them! They should give me my money back since they didn't deliver but I don't know how to get it back!

Inaccessible, confused and unprofessional

Here we go again! Dante Labs seems to have two 'arms' to it UK and EU, but there's no distinction on Trustpilot, it appears. So on a technicality, they may be correct. In reality, the review remains truthful in my experience..

Update: "I have been challenged by Dante Labs on this review on the basis that they didn't supply these PCR tests. They did, on this booking reference: #913773. If they weren't PCR tests, which they seem to be asserting, what were they? More confusion..."

"I conducted a day 2 PCR test following a trip abroad recently. The test was sent off immediately but no result was received on the following three days. I followed up with an email asking when I was likely to receive it as I was feeling unwell, had had a positive LFT and wanted confirmation by a proper lab. Four days after sending the test back, my wife received an email confirming that my test was positive and hers (from a trip two weeks before) was negative. She wasn't even included on the form for the trip I'd been on alone, her contact details weren't used and she hadn't submitted a test, so no idea why they'd corresponded with her. I've subsequently emailed again and still have received no response five days later - my day 8 test is due tomorrow.

I now don't know if I have a valid positive PCR result which I can use for the next 90 days and they're not telling me...

Dante Labs also failed to provide me with a valid test pack order number to put on my passenger locator form until I was already away, a week after ordering the tests from them, and after various emails pleading for the information so I could board the flight home. Eventually, it came through in the nick of time. There are no helpline numbers you can use in such circumstances, so you have no reassurance.

They're charging substantial fees for this service but it's clearly shambolic and not fit for purpose."

DO NOT USE DANTE LABS FFS

DO NOT USE - I purchased the Fit to Fly test to return to canada (thank god I last minute also purchased a kit from eurofin!). I took them both on the same day, sent them both off on the same day in the same postbox - guess who i've not even had 'acknowledgment the kit has arrived at the labs', from? Dante Labs of course! Thank god I had a second Fit to Fly from Eurofin Labs - they were amazing - DO NOT USE DANTE LABS. I would have missed £1k in flights...Eurofin gave me results 24hrs after I posted the test and were amazing with customer support. My flight goes tomorrow!
