The worst online shopping website…

The worst online shopping website ever... Horrible customer service with staff lacking knowledge about the company rules and policies, irresponsible and these idiots are only money minded. The service and the website or the app is terrible as well, bcuz you can never open the daraz app in public, for no reason they advertise stuff like sex toys and condoms even if you have never searched for them. And the most disappointing factor is their packaging, no words😑 This platform should be shut down in Sri Lanka and we should opt for better platforms like temu or aliexpress. Do not recommend daraz even to buy a safety pin.

🚨 CUSTOMER WARNING

🚨 CUSTOMER WARNING – BAD EXPERIENCE ON DARAZ 🚨

I purchased a refurbished HP ProBook 6470b for Rs. 39,980 on Daraz on May 31, 2025 (seller: AcePro Trading Pvt Ltd).

📦 The laptop was defective right out of the box – extremely slow, Windows wouldn't even open properly.
🔁 I immediately requested a return, stating the product was not working.
❌ The return request was rejected without explanation, and the item was sent back to me.
😠 When I opened the returned package, the screen was broken – clearly damaged during the return shipping process.
📞 I contacted customer service, but they refused to issue a refund or take the damaged product back.

This is a clear case of negligence and lack of accountability from both the seller and the platform.
👉 I paid for a working product, received a faulty one, and now I’m stuck with a broken laptop!

Daraz is a bloody scam

Daraz is a bloody scam. Never trust this organization. All the operators are trained to lie. I was a new customer. I have good experience ordering my second item from Daraz and that would be the last forever. My second order was a iron board with a cupboard which sits under the iron board. I received the one that I did not order. I logged a return request and 3-4 weeks later someone came to pick it up. Guess what??? he is not to be blamed as he came on a motor bike to pick up the iron board with the cabinet. Despite of so many calls they sent someone again after 4 weeks to pick up the item once again on a motor bike. I was furious. CAN ANYONE PICK UP AN IRON BOARD WITH A CABINET ON A MOTOR BIKE??? Once again I called them asked for a Manager or a Supervisor. Only once I was able to speak to a Supervisor by name of Omar who was a great liar. He assured me over and over again the item will be picked up by a vehicle but not a motor bike. Guess what?? it was exactly the same. I made so many calls and never able to speak to any Manager or a supervisor as they were so busy AND I WAS GIVEN AN ABSOLUTE GURANTEE THAT WITHIN 2 HOURS A SUPERVISOR WILL CALL ME. NEVER HAPPEND. SIMILAR VERSIONS WENT ON AND ON BY THE OPERATOS AT DARAZ THAT A SUPERVISOR WILL CALL WITHIN 2-3 HOURS, WITHIN 3-4 HOURS, OR WITHIN 4-5 HOURS. NEVER HAPPENED. NO BODY CALLED. Operator are trained to lie. If you planned to order and expecting to return the ITEM as you did not expect the item as per the advertisement or they sent you the one that you did not order, you will be in big shit. ESPECIALLY IF THE ITEM HAD TO BE COLLECTED ON A VEHICLE. DARAZ, THIS BLOODY SCAMERS WOULD NEVER SEND A VEHICLE TO PICKUP THE ITEM THAT YOU WANT TO RETURN. I AM STILL WAITING SINCE FEBRUARY. IT'S END OF MAY, NO ONE HAD CALLED ME OR PICKED UP THE ITEM FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM DARAZ. THE BIGGEST ROTTEN LIARS EVER YOU CAN COME ACROSS IN TERMS OF ON-LINE ORDERING. DARAZ THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS........

Inability to offer proper solutions to…

Inability to offer proper solutions to simple technical issues - such as being able to unlock an account and get a password renewed.

Customer service trained to deflect.

Takes 4 days to unlock an account while an order has been placed.

Would have rather gone to a physical shop to get the item I needed

So inconvenient!

Also, issues that were prviously raised like the fact that two accounts are under one customers name and was deleted last year still exist.

My parcel has been in the Out for Delivery status for seven days now..

My parcel has been in the Out for Delivery status for seven days now. It was ordered by Ali Express. This is the second time this has happened. I sent an email asking for details, but there is no response. The estimated time given by Ali Express has also expired, these people have no responsibility to complete the work they have undertaken on time. They don't even have the decency to reply to an email. They provided good service for a while, but now it's really bad.

HIghly unprofessional return handling

I made an order for bedsheets.
One was correct and other was of different color. They had dark green and apple green bedsheet which I ordered was apple green. But what they sent was dark green. So I returned it. But the return was rejected. They didn't notify me on this, had simply marked so. So I reached out to inquire and two of the agents clearly saw what happened accepted the color difference. Now they are asking to accept it again even to file a complain against this.
A supervisor then called me mention he doesn't see any color difference was not ready to accept the mistake. He was totally unprofessional.
It's not a place that is ready to accept the mistake and refund.
Then they forzen my account as well

Complete scammers

Complete scammers, don’t ever order from here. We ordered a product that didn’t fit and was told that they will refund but they didn’t refund the money back. When inquired they said that the refund is expired, what kind of ridiculous company is this.

I’m very disappointed with your…

I’m very disappointed with your service. Very very poor customer support. I placed an order on 24th of February 2025. Meanwhile the system down occurred in your company and my order was canceled. I paid for that order (#505964973080889). I need my money back or handover my order items.

Be careful when ordering from them

I ordered a Bluetooth headset from them and received a ripped open bag minus the headset.

Daraz hasn't sent a replacement headset or refunded my money yet. Customer care is ignoring me, despite having raised this issue with them.

They don't have a working phone number for support, and the online support provided is mostly an AI bot providing canned answers.

I will formally complain to the consumer affairs authority of Sri Lanka.

Update: if you are purchasing from them, use a credit card and dispute the purchase with your bank, if there's any issue. If the bank doesn't cooperate, reach out directly to Visa or MasterCard and file a dispute.

Also make sure you reach out to the consumer affairs authority in Sri Lanka.

The worst service a customer can…

The worst service a customer can experience. I ordered a package through AliExpress and after a few days order status showed as that I refused to sign the package. I tried to contact this customer service and couldn’t get a hold of them. Sent an email with tracking details and contact details and tried until now through customer care center. Finally they answered and say the contact number I’ve left is incorrect and the email address I’ve sent emails to so far is not in use at the moment and my parcels are in the process of being returned. How come these people not using and updating a correct email address and doesn’t answer customers’ calls become customer fault?? Shame on this company.

The products I ordered was a pink pencil case but I got low quality yellow colour purse it was 750 rupees but if bought from samudra could have bought it for 150 rupees very disappointed on Daraz will never buy any thing again from this company

Zero customer service. Not accept item or refund the money back. Scammers

Hope if there any management in Daraz make concern on customers on the items they placed.

I ordered laptop cable and the driver who delivered was so unpleasant and zero customer service. He want us to be 24/7 available to collect the goods.

Once I received the item was not fit in to my laptop so I wanted to return it as the app done accordingly. Then it says cannot accept even its it good condition etc. My question is if the item is not what I expect Daraz wanted us to keep it. The
agents correspondence is zero. No way of contacting any other or contact number numbers. Due to their so high customer services and demand.

They return my item. Just waste of money and time.

Dear Valued customers do not use this app or order with Daraz. Scammers, zero customer service, no contact numbers or valied e - mail address. They dont refund the reason says missing ite. I wanted to meet the agent who check to see what was missing when I have proof of original photos of the item. These are the fake excuses for not refund for the goods

They run the business thanks to customers. So let the customers stop purchasing for them to know the value proper customer service.
