After 2 to 3 months of diagnostics I realised that my turbo actuator was playing up on my vw golf, got one from ebay...learnt my lesson there as it broke within a week and it kept giving me limp mode all the time.So I bought a genuine 1.6 tdi actuator from this company and my car is all now sorted and it feels good quality, thank you 😊

Superb service from the team, both with parts supply and associated technical advice. Couldn't have been more helpful and have gone the extra mile for me this week and got me out of a fix. A great experience. Thanks guys.

Tony and all the guys at darkside Developments supplied me with a dpf delete downpipe for my audi a7 3.0tdi and now it sounds like a gtr.even my local exhaust garage could not believe the sound when they fitted the downpipe.well worth the money spent. Even the aftercare of darkside Developments is excellent as well.

Great company to work with, fast communication.

Catch can arrived quickly and well packaged. E mail query answered the same day. Excellent communication. The provent catch can initially looks expensive compared to others available online. I have brought both and the quality is night and day better. Worth every penny to protect your engine.

Slow responce, issues with parts demand but quick to take money.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong part and Ben and Max were kind enough to point this out and offer me the correct part for my car before dispatching the order. It really pays to go to the experts and I was very pleased with their customer service!

An expensive reseller of parts. Arrogant and unprofessional email support.

If you want diesel performance there are other options available. Call around and you'll be surprised how much money you can save. Remember, expensive reseller. That doesn't mean there parts are better it means they buy them and upsell them to you.

*Update* had an email from darkside ultimately requesting the review to be removed as they see it as unfair. That's absolutely acceptable to request as I also see some things they do as unfair and there welcome to there opinion as I am.
The egr blanks are available else where at an extremely lower price and yes they are also made from the same material. I have both in front of me. I will also play devil's advocate and defend them and say the darkside gaskets are better but the ones provided in the "alternative" website are 100 percent acceptable.
However the price tag isn't.
There prices aren't a myth it's known well inside the diesel performance community that there good at what they do and it's also known to be extremely expensive with alternative options from other bigger players charging less.
The YouTube ads are relentless and I understand there marketing budget after being a customer.
I don't not recommend them I just advocate you do a little research and save the extra money for some more mods!😄
Ordered a sensor that said on the website it was available. After ordering I was told it's out of stock and there would be a delay and it's my fault for not reading and understanding the difference between "available" and "in stock" it's actually funny the snotty reply I received.
The item I purchased before the sensor was an egr delete kit and the instructions were just awful. Really lazy.
Had to email back and forth to confirm something simple but needed to check and who better to ask after paying just a premium?!? Maybe more time on the small details would at least justify the silly price. Isn't like it's packed well either so I'm struggling to figure out where the value is.
I guess I'm paying for the YouTube sponsored videos😄

**Update after reply**
I placed the 1st order unaware of the cost and felt foolish. The second order was for a customer whom needed a sensor asap. I ordered the sensor as you listed it as AVAILABLE and I payed around £7 in delivery for Next day. You then emailed me saying it isn't in stock and even admitted in a later email you were rude due to high email volumes from customer. (Can't imagine why...)
So I politely requested a refund on the delivery as the customer shared the same opinion as me.
You completely declined to refund the postage, were rude and I left it at that. Weeks later I came here to share my experience and opinion.
Hope this explains the 2 orders.

Also worth mentioning I said the exhaust gaskets were a better quality and this may be true but the one provided from dark side is leaking. It's the gasket that goes with the plate to the intake manifold (egr delete)
The gasket has failed a smoke test.
I don't think dark side are in any position to be telling someone that other businesses upsell when there doing something no one else is. The numbers are the facts and if you bother checking you'll not be one of there "happy customer"🙊

Very interesting question with regards to the upsell percentage.

I have made two purchases from Darkside and am very happy with the products both times. Its the only place I can purchase this oil for my car and what a difference it makes. My 24 year old PD engine purrs with this oil. I certainly want to try the intercooler kit as my OE part has the classic issues associated with this engine. Injector clamps and a new turbo too when I am confident I have found the right garage to do the work. Recently had terrible difficulty finding a garage who understood that the right hand engine mount needs removing during timing belt replacement and therefore stretch bolt replacement!

Good company to deal with. I have had bad experiences in the past with other companies with sorting my clutch out. I needed a clutch alignment tool for my car. I was contacted the same day with the details of the required part. The new clutch was fitted this week and the tool worked perfectly, a really good fit. I couldn't be more happy. Great experience.

Brilliant company to deal with. From first point of contact they were very helpful ensuring I ordered the right part. I bought a front mount intercooler for my bmw from them after having fitment issues with one from another company. Darkside ensured there one was a bespoke item to them and would fit using my stock pipework. They were correct. Fitted in no problem at all. Looks ace and is very, very well made. Super happy with the guys down at dark side and I’ll continue to use them for any performance parts in the future! On top of all of this my part was with me in less than 24hrs!

Used these company a few times now, I needed a clutch for my car and had needed to email reg to check I was ordering the right one, after the first one come back as a 5 speed I replied and said it's a 6 speed, "TONY" Was more then helpful and sent me a link to click to buy the right part and also adviced me I did not need a fly wheel saving me best part of £400 plus, so honest as well ! Will be ordering some upgrades for the car next year and this will be my only port of call

I contacted this company for advice on a family members car, from the very first email (from Danny and then Harry) I got a top level of service and advice. Even before I had made a purchase they gave me advice of what the issue could be before I committed to making a purchase.
Unfortunately for us the car ended up needing a head gasket, there was three different variations for the car and Darkside allow us to order all three and return the ones we didn’t use.
They also advised that the likely failure was either due to water pump or head lift as the car had been mapped and this particular model suffers from this and advised a remedy for this also.
I ordered quite late in a Thursday and emailed to ask for a next day delivery. The order was packed and send and we received it by courier the following day. The returns and refund process was easy and I received my refund quickly.
I would 100% recommend this company as they could have sold me all sorts of parts to remedy the issue with the car but they took the extra time to help with diagnosis to make sure we got it right first time.
The car is now up and running perfectly.

Absolutely flawless these guys, messaged them and they replied fast, also the parts I got from them have been nothing but amazing top quality parts and really easy and straight forward to fit

I can't stress enough the service is 11/10 l ordered a inlet pipe for my car found out it was the wrong one l emailed them and it took not even 20 mins for them to get back to me they found the right part I needed as I was struggling and the problem was resolved within a hour maximum, too whoever Ben is at dark side developments u helped me so much and allowed me to swap over the product to the right one I needed thank you guys so much top class customer service and top class support, thank you guys
