Couldn't recommend Darkside Developments enough. Totally transformed my BMW F20 125D LCI. Would definitely getting an engine and gearbox map as the combination of these modifications is very complimentary. The quality of their handmade stainless steel exhaust is top notch. Really pleased with the performance gains. Stage 1; 212hp up to 263hp (torque: ~325ftlb up to ~415ftlb). Everyone at Darkside was always very helpful and answered any questions clearly and concisely.

The Darkside Team is super knowledgeable and helpful even with complicated events with TDIs. They helped me get through a very tough situation with mine and always replied to my emails. The customer service here is top notch.

Used them before and they were great. Would use again for non-electrical items.

Got a quote for an electrical part from VW and my hair nearly fell out, so searched for a cheaper source.

Knowing these guys are a quality supplier of VW parts, I chose them over an eBay supplier.

They wanted about £30 more than eBay, but were supplying what was advertised as an 'OE quality' part for my exact vehicle model and engine, so I went with it.

I also paid £9 more for delivery by 13:00 the next day and I ordered at about 10:00 (they're cut off is 15:00 for dispatches). It came about 50 hours later, so I could have paid less and had to wait longer than expected...

I then removed the old part, which was working well enough to get the car started, but clearly needed replacing, and fitted theirs.

Started the car and it displayed all symptoms of a completely failed parts (no start, lights on dashboard etc.) that other people describe on the forums.

Bit the bullet and went with a VW part, fitted, started straight up just fine.

I'm now out of pocket for the part, the delivery and the time wasted, but they won't tell me how to return the item.

I've had to escalate the matter now - more time wasted.

I recently traveled from West Sussex to DarkSide Developments, located just outside Barnsley. Despite it being a long day with the travelling, it was well worth the effort.

The staff at DarkSide Developments were incredibly friendly and made the booking process very easy. Upon arrival, I felt welcomed and at ease with their professionalism and approach.

My car had previously been remapped with a generic remap, but the difference after DarkSide’s service was remarkable. They remapped my car on their rolling road, and now it feels like a completely new vehicle. The performance improvements all thru the rev range.

Overall, I highly recommend DarkSide Developments for their excellent customer service and expertise in diesel BMWs. The long trip was certainly justified by the outstanding results.

Super easy company to deal with, standard of work is very high, will definately use again.

Seeing as they are in the UK and I'm in the US, I put the order in for the CP3 HPFP kit not expecting to see it until the next week. To my surprise they fulfilled and shipped it within hours of me putting the order in. I proceeded to get it two days after shipment. Amazon rarely does that nowadays.

I then needed the fuel metering part number for tune and they responded back to me first thing when they got in.

I wish I could give more stars, I will 100% order from here again and urge you too as well.

Excellent customer service. Responded immediately (within 5 minutes) to my issue. Addressed it immediately. Shout out to George at Dark Side who handled the matter for me.

So got a turbo from them. That become faulty. Initial was though the oil pump was gone or something else so at that time I didn't think was there fault. The garage checked the oil pump and it was fine 2.5bar. the garage had a new kid and forgot to turn the engine on. Any ways turbo was returned back to them they blamed the old turbo shaft nut killing it.
The whole system was cleaned and new oil feed a oil return pipes was fitted.
The .they blamed the grade of oil used which was pd grade for that car as was advised via eurocarparts and the garage said it the right one

Then oil starvation even tho oil was present in it.
So there blaming 4 different stories and refuse to refund the money classic them as been told
I should of listened to other garages and stay clear from them
A generic remap lol ok. It was remap but didn't even go 10 miles lol.
No boost was used told 500 mile run in didn't last that.
Stop with ur lies to swindle out of it
Everything was new u changed ur story 4 times
First was old turbo shaft nut done it
2nd garage fault not checking ie pipes
3rd oil starvation even tho oil was present
4th was eurocarparts fault supply wrong oil

Ordered a part from here Thursday and got here before 10am Friday! Had an email to say the incorrect one had been ordered after been given this by a garage. Had an Email from your colleague Ben who sourced the correct one and made sure it was right before sending it out! Numerous emails back and forth to try and locate where this part went. Ben was outstanding! His customer service is by far the best I’ve had and did everything and more to support me in making sure I located where this part went. Bought several parts from different garages/suppliers but this was by far the best customer service I’ve ever received! Thanks Ben! An assset to Darkside👌🏼

I contacted them to ask for advice about lowering my VW Caddy. They responded quickly and explained everything and gave me options of which kit I could use. It arrived quickly in the post and my mechanic commented that it was a really good quality kit. Van looks and drives perfectly
