Great experience from start to finish…
Great experience from start to finish with Darlings of Chelsea. It was a pricey investment for our family so we reached out to discuss our order before placing it, the first time I spoke to someone not so knowledgeable, not so invested, very minimal input. We decided to try again a few days later and whoever it was (very sorry I can’t recall the name), they were amazing. Very personable, great chemistry, very knowledgeable about the products, have clear recommendations when I asked for their thoughts.
Good comms throughout the order process. A long wait for the item but seems to be standard for a bespoke piece of furniture.
Delivery company were excellent. Very careful, considerate, used door protector. Brilliant. Wish all were like this.
Item itself is excellent quality. So comfortable and feels luxurious to sit on.
I’d highly recommend. A premium price but a premium product and service.

I recently purchased a velvet sofa bed from Darling of Chelsea for my new home, and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience.
As the sofa was a bit of an investment for me, I really appreciated the team offering a flexible payment option, allowing me to pay in two instalments. A special thank you to Amelia, whose service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. She kept me well informed throughout, providing regular updates and an estimated arrival time, which made the whole process feel smooth and reassuring.
The original delivery estimate was around 12 weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive my sofa in just 8–9 weeks. The delivery team were also fantastic professional and very helpful. They set everything up for us and took the time to show us how to use the sofa bed properly.
I ordered a 4.5-seater sofa bed in the Elm Wood colour. While the final shade is slightly lighter than the sample I received beforehand, it still looks beautiful and fits perfectly with my home’s colour scheme. The quality is excellent, and I’m really pleased with how it looks and feels.
Overall, I’m impressed with both the product and the service. I would definitely recommend Darling of Chelsea to anyone looking for a high-quality sofa and a great customer experience.

Absolutely delighted with our Elstree Recliner Sofa. It looks fabulous in our living area. A really good quality piece of furniture that manages to be stylish and super comfortable. Service was outstanding - proper 'old school' customer service. Excellent bed, no assembly instructions
Excellent bed, excellent communication. Excellent comms re delivery date (quite a long lead time) and delivery slot. Delivery drivers were brilliant. We asked for the bed not to be assembled, as still decorating, and it would have been nice to have assembly instructions, although I think we’ve got it right.

Excellent Service and Sofa
We did a lot of research before buying a sofa bed and the Bromley 3-seater from Darlings of Chelsea was always highly recommended. It had the added bonus of being able to be taken apart as it was for an attic room so a fully assembled one wouldn't have been suitable. We visited the showroom in Birmingham and Sonia was incredibly helpful and informative. Whilst there was a delay waiting for the material, Sonia's communications were excellent and she kept us fully appraised at all times about progress. Our sofa bed was delivered yesterday and we're delighted with it.

Not as smooth as expected
Not great as we had requested removal of the old sofa in order to make space for the new one but this had not been communicated to the delivery crew. Fortunately they allowed us to make payment directly but it could have been better organised.
