Amazing experience

My hard drive containing all family pictures was damaged and luckily I came across Data Recovery Services. They always kept me updated on the progress of my hard drive via phone and email. Great customer service and delivered their service on time. No hassle, I just sent the drive for FREE and they took care of the rest. Would definitely recommend to others.

Some months back my home computer was hacked into. When I declined to pay the ransom demanded, on principle, it became seriously encrypted. Attempts at remediation locally failed. I accepted a recommendation to send the hard drive to the data recovery.co.uk people in South Wales, who sorted it out within 24hrs. At a fee way below the ransom demanded by the hackers.

I had an external harddrive which didn't work. I opened the harddrive up myself which meant that almost none of the companies wanted to even look at it. I contact Fields Data Recovery and explained what happened and what I did. They still helped me get all my data back.

Fantastic from start to finish, recovered all of my data, kept me in the loop through the process.

When I called them they said it will cost £200 to £400. They said u don't have to pay if we are unable to retrieve any data or if your not happy with what can be recovered.

I would call to get update and the case manger would always be on another call.. after 2 weeks they could only recover 19gb of data and the sd card had nearly 80gb.

Every week their price kept going up and up.. the main reason I was getting data recovered was to recover my new borns videos.

When I asked them to let me know if they managed to recover the data they said yes their are baby videos. But when I received my USB their was not even 1 video of a baby.

They lied.. on top they charged me more than £700.. When I used to call them for update the case manger was always busy.. but when it came to getting the money they would call me 2 to 3 times a day..

Extremely rude person working in their customer service who said I was lying.

If you use them be aware their price goes up by day and at the end they will do anything for you to pay.

I had two 16 year old 74gb WD Raptor hard drives in raid 0 one of which failed to function. I lost my backup USB drive so I contacted Data Recovery Specialists.
Within about 4 days they had received my hard drives and had sent me an email detailing all the files that were on them that were recoverable. I gave them the go-ahead to start the recovery process and after a little over a week of initially contacting them they sent me a USB stick with all my files. As far as I believe there were very few files that were unrecoverable and I got all the data that I really needed which was mainly photos. The communication from them was very good and kept me well informed. I would definitely recommend their services.

The hard drive on my home PC failed and as is the way, I'd been a bit lazy in backing up important stuff like photos so as you can imagine I was somewhat upset. I contacted Data Recovery Specialists who appeared to be set up more to help commercial organisations rather than domestic users like myself. However, after some negotiation I decided to go with it and arranged for my hard drive to be collected. The turn round was amazingly quick, the data recovery 100% and I've got access to all my treasured photos again. Pricy but well worth it and a first class service. Highly recommended

After my hard drive stopped working with about 15 years of work on it that hadn't been backed up for a long time I was desperate to find a way to get my files back!! I tried local computer stores to no avail to I started hunting online.

The data recovery service I received was great. They were very clear from the outset about what may and may not be possible and what the cost would be. From my device being collected by a courier, to a new device being sent back to me only a matter of days later, they were in touch every step of the step way to let me know what was happening.

I was really pleased with the speed of the service, the communication and clarity of information throughout and I'm happy to say I have all my files back (and I now back up my hard drive far more regularly).

the service from start to finish was excellent. Before contacting DRS I had been advised I needed their type of specialist service. The technical service and customer service was always top class, everything was delivered in the timescales promised. It was expensive but it recovered the irreplaceable and that, in its way, is priceless
