A really sturdy umbrella although somewhat heavy to carry.

Very prompt delivery, a tad on the expensive side but it looks to be very well made, auto open and close works well. Yet to be used in the rain!

Quick dispatch, love the umbrella; lightweight, small and has already proven itself in strong winds.

Very sturdy, nice design, provides great protection from the rain. Only "complaint" is that it is heavier than other umbrellas, however considering how durable it is, the weight is understandable and I still find it comfortable to carry in my handbag for a whole day of walking around.

As far as folding automatic umbrellas go, this is one of the better products I have seen. The moving parts are sturdy, the handle is nice and the material is strong.

If you have space for a good full size umbrella do not hesitate to get one, but if you need something more compact this would be my go-to.

My experience, bought a Davek solo which snapped in the wind after a few months. Returned it for repair or replacement. Came back crudely repaired and it broke again within a few times of using it.
Rather than returning it again, I bought a second solo under the loss replacement scheme, the new umbrella snapped in the wind. I have been unable to register this umbrella to return it for repair so emailed Davek nearly a week ago, no response. There is no phone number for contacting the Irish (UK) branch and the American no is out of use.
I am left with an expensive piece of junk and no response from Davek.
What does this say to me, a company that cares **** about its customers.

I was extremely pleased with the umbrella I purchased for my son, I would recommend anyone to buy from Davek excellent service and product and company. I couldn't believe how smoothly the umbrella opened and the quality. It was amazing.

Was given umbrella as a gift. Looked solid. Built to last. However, 2nd time I used it one of the 'arms' stopped bending making it impossible to close the umbrella properly. Reported fault. Disgusted at having to pay return postage of £9.99 for a faulty brolly that's supposedly unbreakable and so new! Over a week since I returned it for repair/replacement - not heard a peep. Wouldn't recommend
