This is my 2nd home and I love it. There are fabulous classes with even more fabulous instructors, plenty of opportunity to try new racquet sports/classes and make new friends. I know it costs but if you use the facilities it's worth it. It only loses a star because my annual subscription has risen dramatically over the past 2 years which makes me think they are trying to get rid of me as I've been a member about 28 years and loyalty is something they don't appreciate. Sad but true!

I joined a month ago and ever since joining I noticed that, as new member, there is not much guidance in terms of where and how to meet the instructor of your booking. For example I booked a spa induction and I got there, had no idea where I can meet the instructor, spoke to the reception and they had to phone the team to get someone to come and do the induction, but then what is the point of me booking and showing up on time? Really not the best experience for a new member.
Also I used the outdoor swimming pool once since being a member, it is quite dirty and really made me doubt if I made a good choice joining this club, please do some cleaning of your outdoor pool...

Lovely outdoor pool , deep blue in colour with greenery around it and adults only after 6pm and pre 10am - that’s the real attraction to the club for me.

Had an online chat with Steph West! Listened and resolved my membership issue almost immediately, was professional and straight to the point. This was easier to resolve with Steph than it was at my home local gym! Tbh managing your membership should be made easier and more self controllable.

Only constructive criticism I have is the wait for food can be extremely long and seem under staffed a lot & the walk from men’s changing room to outside pool is ridiculously slippy and dangerous

I've been a member at the Hatfield club for a few months now and have had a great experience overall.
The gym is always clean, well-equipped, and has everything I need. The spa is genuinely wonderful, and the padel courts are excellent.
My only frustration is the booking system for the indoor padel courts. They get booked up very quickly, yet quite often the courts end up sitting empty because people don't show up. It would be great if the booking system could be improved to make better use of the courts.
The staff are always friendly, helpful, and make a real effort to make sure you're having a good day. Their customer service really stands out.

Paid for annual membership of Brighton Marina gym for mys4lf and my partner during lockdown. Paid £1500 upfront only to be banned 2 months later for "non-payment". Over 6 months later they said was no longer banned but were not in a position to extend or refund period we were refused entry. Complaint was passed on and months later transpired this person left and months later person who took over left.Then had to be passed up to London to deal with. Never was sorted, never been back. Seems like was pretty much cheated.
